[the literary exterminator]

Hello. Not much of a poster, but I found a decent thread, so I figured I'd say a word or two. The words at the top of the page tell me to post here first, so here I am. I've been lurking here for a bit (not too long), and I especially enjoy the tendancy of the regulars to post in complete sentences. It adds class.

Oh, and my feelings on W/T are somewhat conflicted. On one hand, they make a cute couple; on the other, I cannot help but feel jealous that Willow has somehow landed the most sweet and beautiful woman in the world. Grrr... Arrgh...

I know what you mean about the conflictin emotions with W/T, because I used to feel that way about Xena and Gabrielle. I just try and think of it this way: They found each other and it was meant to be. You'll find someone which will have meant to be.

Well, I don't know about that phrasing, but it could work. But, I do know that Kittens have used this phrase before as well:

"For every Willow, there is a Tara.

I tend to like that one. Welcome again! Have fun!

This is my first post I just want to introduce myself. I'm French, 24 years old and I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer since the moment Tara appeared on screen on the episode Hush. I had seen several episodes before but I wasn't hooked on it.

Hello Kittens!
I found out about this great site about a week ago (just had internet installed so have been looking up all things Buffy!)I have been lurking here reading past threads most evenings but have now decided to take the plunge and register! Besides everyone seems really chatty and friendly. I didn't start to really get into Buffy until S4 but have since bought/borrowed past box sets! Willow has always been one of my favourite characters (besides Spike!!). The relationship and the way it developed between her and Tara is so sweet and romantic and they are definately my favourite pairing on the show. I can't wait to see S6 as unfortunately I'm in the UK and don't have Sky T.V! Also must confess I like spoilers!

Hello to all the kittens out there...I hope to make some friends here...let me tell you about myself

I live in Indiana. I'm 25 and I am a part time student getting my masters degree in public relations. I am an accomplished theatre director with over 75 productions under my belt. I'm female,which rocks. I live with my girlfriend of 2 years. Theatre is my life, although I am taking a short hiatus from it right now while I am working on a film script. So with all those things in mind you could say that I'm a wannabe actress/writer/director/(insert something artsy here).

I am totally obsessed with Amber Benson. I think she's a wonderful role model for the gay community and a wonderful person as well.

I am a spoiler whore. I check websites at work, at home, if I had internet in my bathroom I would be checking it there too.

I'm more of a lurker than a poster...but we'll see.

Hello to all the kittens out there...I hope to make some friends here...let me tell you about myself

I live in Indiana. I'm 25 and I am a part time student getting my masters degree in public relations. I am an accomplished theatre director with over 75 productions under my belt. I'm female,which rocks. I live with my girlfriend of 2 years. Theatre is my life, although I am taking a short hiatus from it right now while I am working on a film script. So with all those things in mind you could say that I'm a wannabe actress/writer/director/(insert something artsy here).

I am totally obsessed with Amber Benson. I think she's a wonderful role model for the gay community and a wonderful person as well.

I am a spoiler whore. I check websites at work, at home, if I had internet in my bathroom I would be checking it there too.

I found out about this great site about a week ago (just had internet installed so have been looking up all things Buffy!)I have been lurking here reading past threads most evenings but have now decided to take the plunge and register! Besides everyone seems really chatty and friendly. I didn't start to really get into Buffy until S4 but have since bought/borrowed past box sets! Willow has always been one of my favourite characters (besides Spike!!). The relationship and the way it developed between her and Tara is so sweet and romantic and they are definately my favourite pairing on the show. I can't wait to see S6 as unfortunately I'm in the UK and don't have Sky T.V! Also must confess I like spoilers!

Willow and Tara are what got me to start watching Buffy - well that and a wicked friend that keeps introducing me to great shows after 3-5 seasons. But thanks to a few well connected friends, and a very large hard drive, I'm completely current!

I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but I'm "another" Aussie... I honestly cannot believe how many of us there are on this board! Guess we've got taste!

Anyway, my first love on Buffy is Spikey (obviously, by my pen name), my second love is Buffy/Spike and my third is definately Willow/Tara.

I wasn't really a big fan of theirs until a friend of mine, who is completely devoted to Amber, made me watch particular scenes over and over again, and I guess she brainwashed me. They've just such a beautiful dynamic together!

Anyway, just thought I'd pop in and say Hi! Hope to chat to you all soon.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, Pixie-Muso, I didn't see this until this morning.

Actually, I'm just another Californian. But I once seriously considered immigrating to Australia or New Zealand. Maybe I'll at least get to visit someday, it looks lovely.

Figured I better introduce myself and get it over with. I found the board on one of my late night internet searches. I've been lurking for the last few months, trying to gain comfort from all the angst by skulking about the board. Though, I admit, I do enjoy it a bit.

Um, let's see. I'm a 22 yr old female with a twisted, cynical sense of humor. I'm originally from Minnesota currently living in NYC cause I'm in grad school for creative writing. Yep, another wanna be to add to the list. Though what I really want to do is direct. Kidding, actually the more time I spend in New York, the more I miss doing theater and might have to jump back into the fray. I've been hooked on BtVS ever since I saw Hush and the W/T interaction. Though I use to watch it waaaaay back in Season 1 cause I loved Aly so.

I should go now cause this is a bit longer than I intended.

Hey. I've been lurking here, jeez, it seems like forever. I lurk over at the MBTV boards, too. Kitties and MBTV posters seem to be about the only people on the internet who can form a complete sentence and actually spell most of the words right. Anyway, I'm a MAJOR lurker.
