NOOOOOO Julia, that's mean. I can't write that fast.

And Liz, I might be going blind but it's not with old age, if you know what I mean.

You know, Ruth, I would say you're going blind from masturbating..but, when you're posting over 6000 where does a girl find the time to do both?

Anyway, congrats..

Wow! Ruth very impressive to reach 6000 posts!

Hey, they just featured a preview of "Scooby Doo" on Access Hollywood.

You can also access it on-line: http://www.moviefone.com/showtimes/movi ... movieid=10 535&date=20020314&format=qt&x=9&y=13

adding:This link is Quicktime format. You can also go to AOL or WB movie previews and select your viewer and connection speed.

SMG looks good as Daphney; she kicks some a$$. FP, jr. looks funny with the bleached blonde hair. Fred the surfer dude.

BTW, release date is June 1th.

*trying to type after being blinded by big red numbers*

I just felt the need to ask if anyone else has watched The Amazing Race. I'd never seen it before, but a friend made me watch last night. And what do I see? A "separated couple" competing. Named Tara and Wil. *G*

I got this in an email today from a friend. It's totally random and unrelated to anything. But it's funny and should give everyone a laugh. And laughing is good

quote:
Subject: FIRE INSURANCE

A Charlotte, NC lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars,
then insured them against fire (among other things) Within a month, having
smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars, and not yet having made
even his first premium payment on the policy, the lawyer filed a claim
against the insurance company. In his claim, the lawyer stated the
cigars were lost "in a series of small fires."

The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason: the man had
consumed the cigars in the normal fashion.

The lawyer sued....and won!

In delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that
the claim was frivolous, however, the judge stated that the lawyer held a
policy from the company in which it had warranted that the cigars were
insurable, and had guaranteed that it would indeed insure them against fire,
without defining what is considered "unacceptable fire"- and was obligated
to pay the claim.

Rather than endure a lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance
company
accepted the ruling and paid $15,000.00 to the lawyer for his incendiary
bamboozle.

NOW FOR THE GOOD PART..............

After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him arrested on
24 counts of ARSON!!!!! with HIS OWN INSURANCE CLAIM AND TESTIMONY
FROM THE PREVIOUS CASE BEING USED AGAINST HIM, THE LAWYER WAS CONVICTED OF
INTENTIONALLY BURNING HIS INSURED PROPERTY AND SENTENCED HIM TO 24 MONTHS IN
JAIL AND A $24,000.00 FINE.

This is a true story and was the 1st place winner in the recent Criminal
Lawyers Award Contest.
