PART 13

"Tara! Dont tell me you're afriad of heights! Its just a ferris wheel!" Willow says trying not to laugh. They were all at the annual Sunnydale fair. There were only two days left of spring break and everyone wanted to have as much fun as possible. Tara knew that once school started up again, Willow would be back on cloud nine with Oz.



"But Will! Its really high! What if we get stuck? What if I fall?" Tara says on the verge of freaking out. Willow just had to smile at the cuteness.



"Tara dont worry. Everythings gonna be ok, I promise I wont let anything bad happen to you." Willow says full of honesty and meaning. Tara smiles at her.

"Ok Willow I trust you." She says and they climb on to the ride.

"Here take my hand so you wont be scared." Willow says offering her hand to Tara who takes it quite happily if she could say so herself. The ride starts to move. Tara realized that she wasnt scared at all, holding on to Willows hand like this made all the fear go away. She knew that everything was going to be ok, she knew that her Willow would keep her safe. :Her? Mine?: They were finally on top, the wheel having stopped.

"Wow this is beautifull!" Tara exclaims, enjoying the view.

"Not as beautifull as you!" Willow says, smiling at Tara. Tara smiles, blushing, dipping her head, her hair covering her face.

"Hey. Dont." Willow says, taking her hand and pushing Taras hair out of her face.

"When you do that no one can see your pretty eyes." She says with sincerity. Tara smiles, looking into Willows eyes for a moment, then down at their hands that were still linked together.

"Willow, I have to t-tell you something...." She says, looking back at her.

"Tara you can tell me anything!" Willow says and Tara nods.

"I know that. But I guess...I guess Im kinda s-scared." She says looking away.

"Hey." Willow says, turning Taras head towards her. "This is me Tara. You dont have to feel scared or feel stupid around me. I'll still love you." She says and Tara beams.

"Ok. Well Willow I think I L....." But she was interupted by movement.

"Oh hey we're moving!" Willow says, and the moment was lost. They get off the ride, meeting up with Xander (who was with a girl named Anya), Buffy, and SURPRISE!!

"OZ!" Willow exclaims.

"Hey." Oz replies as Willow rushes over to him giving him a hug and a quick kiss.

"Oz I missed you! I didnt even know you'd be here!" Willow says after they let go of eachother.

"Took off early. Came to see you." Oz says with a bit of a smile.

"Thats so great!" Willow says, hugging him again and kissing him, Tara sighs. amnit:

"Ok, who's up for riding the boomarang?" Xander asks.

"We're up for it." Willow says, taking Oz's hand and smiling.

"Im in!" Buffy says.

"Will we actually be thrown up in the air?" Anya asks but no one answers her.

"What about you Tara?" Xander asks, turning towards her. Tara felt like she was being put on the spot or something.

"Oh. I-I should get g-going. I d-dont want my b-b-brother to worry." She says.

"Are you sure?" Willow asks with some concern.

"Im fine." Tara says, turning around and walking off.

Ok, Im back with a new update!! I wanted to update later, but I promised STACE that I would update as soon as I posted new poems, so here it is! Thanks to my number one fan Jessica and Stace, and to everyone else who's been readin this fic!! It means alot!



Part 14



"Oz I was thinking about prom....." Willow was saying. She and Oz were sitting at lunch, Oz had asked the others if he could eat lunch with Willow by himself because he needed to talk to her about something. Tara figured he'd ask her to prom. Perfect couple that they were and all. :Thats just what I need. Willow will look so beautiful, so radiant, and I wont be able to hold her, dance with her and call her mine. Thats what Oz is for.: So Willow and Oz were sitting, Willow kept hoping that Oz would ask her to prom, but he hadn't yet, so Willow just plunged ahead.

"See I was thinking we could all rent one limo and go to the prom together, it'd be much cheaper that way and..." But Oz inturupts her.

"Will, I need to talk to you." He says seriously.

"Oh. Ok. Whats up?" Willow asks. Oz takes a sip of his drink, running his hands through his hair (which was black and red this week), and sighs.

"Listen Will, I dont know how to tell you this but Im gonna just say it straight out. Over spring break I met someone. She's really great. Her name is Lucy and I met her at a show I went to. We have alot in common. She's everything Ive ever wanted in a girl. Shes perfect. And I like her alot. So that means we cant go out anymore. Im sorry." He says and gets up and leaves. Willow just sits there, processing everything, on the verge of tears.

"W-Willow?" She looks up. It was Tara, who had obviously seen what had happened.

"Willow are you ok?" Tara asks with concern. Willow just looks at her, eyes filling up with tears. :Oh Tara.....she's my best friend...I need her so: Suddenly she gets up, practically knocking Tara over as she wraps her arms around her, sobbing onto her shoulder. "He broke up with me." Willow says in between sobs.

"Oh....oh Willow, sweetie..it's gonna be ok...shhh..." Tara says, stroking Willows fire red hair.

"Tara I need you so much...I need you...I need you...so much." Willow was whispering. Taras heart lept at those words.

"Willow it'll be alright...Im here for you." Tara whispered back. Willow looks up at her, tears streaming down her face. Tara wanted to reach out and wipe those tears away. They were so close...Tara could smell Willows perfume...it was intoxicating...it was making her dizzy....:Gods she's so beautifull, even when shes crying, I could just....: Next thing Tara knew Willow was leaning towards Tara, and Tara was doing the same. Their lips touched...Tara was suprised at how warm and soft the red heads lips were...the kiss didnt last long, but it was just enough for Tara. But then all of a sudden they break apart, Willow breathing heavily. Eyes huge.

"I...Im sorry...I didnt mean...shit I gotta go!" And she runs off.

"Willow!" Tara yells after her. But the redhead was gone.





I know I girls head is spinnin right now! haha more in the next day or so i promise!

*Present*



"She just took off like that? Wrong!" Xander is saying. It was the night after Willow and Taras perfect evening. They had told the rest of the gang eariler that morning and now they were celebrating at Buffys house. Xander had brought his wife Anya (funny how things work out!) and Buffy had brought her friends Ceslie and Dawn, who were pretty much apart of their group nowadays. There were decorations, many a junk food, and good music playing as everyone chatted and hung out. Tara was telling Xander about her and Willows "first" kiss while the others sat and talked.

"Well understand Xander that she had JUST broken up with Oz. She was sad and hurt and needy. People do things they wouldnt normally do when things like that happen." Tara says, taking a sip of punch from her cup.

"So how was it? The kiss. Hot? Steamy? Did fireworks go off in your head?" Xander asks winking. But Tara just smiles coyly.

"A lesbian never kisses and tells Xander." She says laughing a little, and she walks off leaving Xander to think about the two of them together, a dreamy look in his eyes. Tara wanders off into the kitchen where she sees Willow pouring some chips into a bowl. She smiles and walks over to her, wrapping her arms around her love.

"Did anyone ever tell you just how beautifull you are?" She whispers in her ear softly. Willow smiles putting her hands over Taras.

"Only this hot blonde haired girl Im in love with." She says. Tara takes her hands away from Willows quickly, placing her hands on her hips huffing as Willow turns around.

"And who is this girl Will?" She asks, pretending to be mad. Willow grins sexily.

"Shes just this hot blonde with beautifull blue eyes. Just the love of my life. The woman Im gonna marry." She says, stepping over to Tara putting her arms around her, pulling them close.

"Is this girl the one?" Tara whispers, her lips barley inches away from Willows.

"Oh yeah. Shes the one. Thinking about keeping her and calling her mine." Willow says softly. And they kiss, lips touching passionatly, tounges searching and dueling. Hands feeling, playing across eachothers flesh like hungry animals. Lips becoming more passionate as it grows deeper and deeper.

"Um...dont mean to ruin the sexcapades...but we need the chips out there. Xanders being a chip whore."

They were interupted by Buffy. Tara and Willow let go of eachother, Willows face becoming a shade of red.

"Here they're right here." Tara says as she hands them over to Buffy who takes them and grins as she walks out. Tara sighs.

"We should get back in there." She says. Willow grabs her hand.

"We'll finish this later." She says as she quickly kisses Tara again.

"Good grief! Thought they'd never leave!" She says. Tara comes into the room.

"They all leave? Even Buffy?" She asks. Willow smiles at walks over to her kissing her soundly on the lips.

"Yep she went over to Ceslies house for the night, giving us all the time in the world." She says, and Tara raises an eyebrow.

"Oh really? You think so huh?" She says coyly. And Willow just smiles.

"Oh I know so." She says capturing Taras lips with her own once more trying to recapture the same kiss from earlier that night. And it was better then the last one, filled with more passion and fire...it was intense....when they finally break apart, they are both breathing heavily smiling at eachother, because they both knew what was in store for both of them.

"Upstairs...." Willow whispers as they kiss again, hands grabbing at eachother.

"Uh huh..." Tara says softly as they kiss again and again. But finally they stop, Willow taking Taras hand, leading her upstairs.......
