Summary: An alternate, HAPPY ending to Seeing Red

"I hope so. That's the best part," Tara said, turining to smile at Willow.



Looking out the window again, Xander and Buffy were talking; smiling; hugging. The two women heard a muffled voice say "let's hope we never have to find out."



Smiling, the quickly frowning, at her lover, Willow heard a gunshot. Then another. With no concern for her own safety, only for that of the beautiful woman in front of her, she pulled Tara down onto the floor on top of her.



Quickly enough the sounds stopped. They gazed at each other for a second before running to check on Buffy and Xander. Neither saw the hole in the window near where Tara was standing, just seconds before.

Note: It's lame and boring and short but it's how I think SR should have ended. And that was a strange sentence...

Jixer: It may be a short story it may not. I am planning (and writing) alternate things in Season 7 that will be because of that little dive. But I'll start with saving Buffy, to be sure.

An update (with a new little segment. I have over 100 planned now. Gee what some positive feedback will do...) is on it's way tonight. Probably before 11 pm (EST). No guaranttes, though. *mutters about writers block*

Tempest Duer: *qivers* so.. many.. posts..... More seriously, I'm glad someone agrees with me on how lame that was. Like I've said, I have plans for this. Some of wich is torturing Warren (but not Jonathan and Andrew because they'd make a cute couple). Some of my plans have to do with rewriting season 7 (and possible as season 8) with Tara still alive.

So sorry about the delay. I had to work last night then I came home, waked the puppy, and collapsed. Here's your update, though:



Seeing Red: Someone had to Die (2/?)

WARNING: CHARACTER DEATH (not Tara or Willow)

"I called 911 but..." Xander collapsed into Willow's arms sobbing. Standing off in the throng of policemen was Tara, crying and wishing that none of this had happened.



Policemen and men from an ambulance came and went. Questions were asked. They kept crying. The last group of men who came were the most chilling of all. Men from the coroners office who put their blonde haired Slayer best friend into a bag and took her away.



"I did call..." Xander had been doing that for hours. Willow just kept whispering to him that it was okay, knowing that it wasn't. Warren had to be brought to justice.

I did continue it! Keeping with my tradition, though, this is short. There WILL be over 50 of these at least, though. I have a little plot outline right here *pats her notebook* No more writers block or work until later next week! The benifites of acting in rep. Feedback, please!
