Willow's Letter: How I love Thee

Postby Lost and Delirious » Thu Jan 09, 2003 10:37 pm

Well hello Kittens… this is just a little something I wrote… been feeling inspired of lately (due to a certain someone) So this is a letter from Willow to Tara. It takes place while they are both in bed after a beautiful night of making love as Willow watches her gorgeous girlfriend sleep. Enjoy!

Watching your hair cascade over your face as you sleep here so soundly, I feel myself sigh, filled with more love then most people see in a lifetime. I lie here watching you, taking in every detail of a body I know so well. From toe’s I’ve kissed and worshipped for a hundred lifetimes, to the center that holds the key to your desire. Over breasts which push a women’s sanity to its limits, to lips that invite me, hold me there and never let me go. Then finally higher to deep blue oceans overflowing with beauty and wisdom far beyond your years.

Before you, I never knew love. I never knew the beauty of such simple things. I never knew the splendor of loving and being loved. I never truly existed before your love gave me breathe and brought me through the darkness of my own fear, to you. You saved me from myself and brought me into the light. When the world called me insane, you smiled and told me I was quirky. No one else ever thought I was quirky…

Lying here with you, lost in the sight of your body. The feeling of your breasts against me, your soft silky skin caressing mine, not knowing where you end and I begin. There are no doubts, no mistrusts here. Nothing exists outside of this sanctuary other then two glistening bodies basking in the moonlight. We are connected as “one,” our magic’s flowing as one, the intensity of our love overshadowing everything around us. I love every last thing about you. From that lopsided grin to your love for Tori Amos, from your pancakes to the big pineapple and the pile-o-crackers. These are only a few of the millions of reasons I love you. And will love you forever, lifetime through lifetime…

Hope you liked. Just a little something that ran through my head. I am off to bed now.. Night kittens.. night baby

Love,

Cory :baby

*Sigh*

This is really beautiful. Maybe you could do one from Tara to Willow.

Tara: My heart doesn't stutter.

Tara: Willow, I got so lost.

Willow: I found you. I will always find you.

Brilliance is all I can say. Sheer unadulterated brilliance.

In three paragraphs you have encompassed feelings that I would settle for experiencing even a fraction of the completeness which flows between Willow and Tara.

That is the Siren-like allure of their relationship and the benchmark which relationships should aspire to..

What Taralicious said and some;)

It would be great to see a Tara version, see if her approach would be different in saying the same thing. Pretty Please:grin

Having "inspiration" to write something like this is wonderful, isn't it? I know exactly what you mean (:kiss 4WL Love you baby :love ).

From your words, one can just imagine the love this woman feels for the other.

Well since you all seem to want a Tara version I think I might just have to give in and write one. So, I am going to turn to my inspiration and try and give you all some Tara goodness. So if all goes well maybe tomorrow night or Monday I'll give you all an update. Thank you so much for being great and replying. You all make me feel so good!

Also I have to thank 2 special people who have been there through all the hell of the past month... Chel and Mel, my saviors, you helped me through my break up and you kept me strong. And now when people are turning their back on me you still remain my friends, you trust me, believe me and give me your support no matter what my choice.... thank you..... And last but not least, my inspiration herself. Thank you for loving me and making my life worth living, you are my eternity... I love you.....

Have a great night kittens...

Love,

Well everyone as promised Tara's version. Now her's is a little more upset but none the less the idea gets across. Remember some of her feelings dig up from her past... Hope you all enjoy....

My Darling Willow,

Sitting across the room watching you sleep on the couch. Watching your brow furrow, knowing you have just solved one of life’s great mysteries. Following the contours of your body, claiming what is mine. My warm welcoming lips, my long silky copper hair, my milky white skin that shines under the moonlight… my Willow.

You can never understand to what extent you have changed me, made me whole. Before you I was alone. No one loved me, no one cared and to them no one ever would. After all those years of feeling completely alone you start feeling like you do not deserve to be loved. You begin to feel like you aren’t worth the love of another human being. Not worth being touched, not worth being happy and not worth loving. Then one day someone comes along and gives you a small amount of love and you feel like you are going to explode. You feel like all your life you have been deprived of any and all true emotion and then you are given this precious gift, this tiny fraction of love. And then one day you receive this enormous surge of love and emotion and it changes you. The day you said the three most beautiful words to me all that pain and suffering died away. You created a new Tara one who was very far from that frightened little child hiding in her room. You brought her out, healed her wounds and helped her face her demons. You saved her…me.

You are everything I could have ever dreamed of. You are my sanctuary, my safe place. My calm both before and after the storm. You brought me in from the cold, taught me to love, to see the beauty in the world. You showed me the good in others and helped me accept myself. You are my willow tree… now and forever.

Hope you all liked... Love you baby!!!!!

Love,

Cory :baby

Cory-For Tara's letter to Willow, an unqualified BLOODY BRILLIANT!

We are each the sum of our memories and all bring those into play when we find love.

In another concise and clearly emotionally resonant letter, Tara weighed every word carefully and found the perfect balance of words to express her deepest fears and the contents of her heart.

It being newly filled with light since Willow took her hand and led her away from the demons and terrors of Tara's upbringing.

You, Cory, have an economy of scale in your writing that I greatly admire.

You took the overwhelming concept of Willow/Tara's love and you had them tell each other exactly what the other meant to them.

They were as poignant as if they were their wedding vows.:clap

Thank you all so much... I cant describe how wonderful you all make me feel. I have never been very confident in my writing skills but you have all boosted my self esteem so much. I could never have written anything without my girlfriend who gave me that "precious gift" and having her in my life made me realize that I could love someone this much. She truely is my inspiration and with her beside me anything is possible.

Thank you all for the great feedback. Emma and I have decided to do a spin off of this thread. It will center around Willow and Tara having to live apart (due to a job) and the letters which will go between them. I cant wait to start it and I know you will all be pleasantly surprised by my baby's writing abilities... please stay tuned!

So, I will be off now. Hugs to all of you. Sleep well.... love you baby...

Love,

Cory :baby

Letters: Killer Scrabble

Postby Willowmere » Tue Jan 14, 2003 8:42 pm

This is just a little throwaway I felt like pounding out. Maybe we'll write a few more in the series, picking up on the storyline. For now, it's just a draft.

May 24

Fancy-Schamncy Hotel, Las Vegas

Dear Everyone,

Yay, we got here in one piece! Well, two pieces, since there is two of us. One piece, respectively. (What Willow is trying to say, is that we survived the flight. We didn't even set off one metal detector. We didn't even choke on one of those peanuts that come in a bag. --T.)

Yes, Tara was a little nervous about her peanuts. As soon as I assured her that I know the Heimlich, she went at that little baggie like a hyena. A very docile, and pretty hyena. (That's what I thought. --T.)

Our cabbie was this huge man with a unibrow. Tara and I were even more nervous about him than our peanuts, until we saw he had two guinea pigs in his passenger seat. He told us in broken English that they get sad if he leaves them at home. We each got to hold one until we got to the hotel. He even put little makeshift diapers on them, which is good, cause you know, it's all fun and games until someone gets peed on. Tara looked so sweet smiling and dipping her head a little to rub her cheek against its fur.

The room here is beautiful. Actually, everywhere in here is beautiful. I think it's funny that the World Scrabble Championships are being held here. With all the gilded mirrors and velour carpet, I feel as though everyone should be walking around in ball gowns. Instead, it's nerds as far as the eye can see (I can testify to that --T). Lots with the pocket protectors, not so much with the formal wear.

We just got back from the introductory dinner. I didn't know anyone, so it's good I brought Tara (Yeah, otherwise she might have used her salad fork for her souffle. Quelle horreur! Good thing my home ec class in middle school taught etiquette --T). Okay, that's it, I'm revoking Tara's pen privileges (Does this mean I have to put my pen back in your protector? --T). After that, she'll have to wait until I'm done. And then I'll let her write a PS. If I'm feeling benevolent.

I'm so excited to be representing Sunnydale University's Scrabble Club here! Luckily they paid for all this using the club's dues or else Tara and I would have to stay at another, less posh hotel and commute to this one for the games. In Vegas, all your status comes from what hotel you are staying in. You know you're in a tourist town when, I guess.

I think it's bedtime now. Take care, everyone. We miss you.

Much love,

Willow and Tara

PS, I hope you are all wishing Willow luck. Preliminaries start at 11 AM tomorrow! Love to everyone -- T. xoxoxo

PPS, Dawn, please don't forget to check the water in Amy's cage. - W.

Hee!

As for you, adorable Kieli, there is no making of fun. Well, gentle fun. But not of you. Although I might mock you if I see you in chat. But really, it's not personal. I mock everything. Ask Cory.
