Odyssey
One day I walked
Through the forrest of friendship
Wandering like...
Waiting for a fire to flame
I tried to run
To the desert of desire
Lusty for liquid
In stead of looking for life
I had to crawl
In the sour sand of sorrow
Until I saw the hills of hope…
Climbing…
The last stretch of my strength
Breathing…
That precious oxygen again
Finally I
Reaced the top of tameless talent
The lake of love
Was lying just beneath
Drinking…
The water of a wonderwell
Bathing…
Floating on my bare back
So then I moved
To the sacred sea of soulmates
Swimming against
The cool current that was there
Revelling in
The stream of skills surrounding me
Attempting to
Be the best girl I can be
Self-sacrifice
Is a lesson you will learn
Dealing with death
An even bigger to concern
Then I was forced
To find my mountain of misery
Contradictions
Are never clear when you are here
Listening to
The sweet sounds of heaven sometimes
Hearing the hard
Horror wailing in hell
Happiness, hate,
Fear can controll your fate
Change your strange ways
Before it is too late
Luckily I
Managed to sit under the sky
Stars were sparkling
So I stand to watch them well
Crying at last
Tears treading on my face
Fortunately
It’s safe to sing a sad lament
Memories will
Remain mystical till the end
And when it’s time
I’ll fly to you, my friend
"In the half-tone light of a young morning she sighs and shifts on the pillow. And across her face dancing, the first shadows fly to kiss the Pussy Willow." (Jethro Tull)
