Part One

'Byeeeeeee guys, have a great trip and see ya again soon!!' Buffy had brought Willow and Tara to the airport and was about to go to her job. Sure, she hated it and would rather do something nice with Dawn, but she had to make some money or she wouldn't be able to do anything anymore with

her little sister.

She hugged Willow and Tara and watched them go through Customs and on their way to the airplane.

She sighed with a huge smile on her face, content with the fact that the two witches, *oops* witch and ex-witch *yeah that's better* had gotten back together. Slowly Buffy walked out of the airport.

Willow waved to Buffy then turned back to her girlfriend. 'Yes', she thought, 'she's back with me again!'

Tara gave her a little smile, then concentrated on the tickets and at which gate they had to be.

'I believe it's that way, honey', she said and pulled Willow along with her. She had a funny feeling in her tummy, because she would be flying soon and she loved flying and she would be in her favorite country, Ireland. 'I promise you baby, you're gonna love Ireland. It's so beautiful and the cottage I rented is situated in one of the most beautiful spots of Ireland.

Willow grinned and said 'You sound like those rent-a-cottage-magazines! But I really appreciate you did this. Getting away for a vacation was just what we needed'. 'I know' said Tara,'and the good thing about this thing is I have you with me and I'll be in Ireland'. She blushed a bit as she thought of all the things she and Willow could do in their two weeks together. She blushed even more as she realized she'd mentioned Ireland at least 5 times in the last minute. 'God I'm really obsessed'she thought and smiled a little.

Suddenly she say a hand waving in front of her face. 'Penny for your thought missy', Willow said softly in her ear. Tara smiled sweetly. 'I was just thinking of all the fun we will have on this holiday'. Willow blushed a little, then started to giggle. 'Do you think they have whipped cream in Ireland?'

Tara laughed and said 'Vixen, I was thinking about little trips we could make'. She tried to pull an innocent as possible face. Willow breathed in her ear and said 'I could make little trips down your body'.

Tara blushed, kissed Willow then decided they had to get a move on if they still wanted to go. 'Come on, they just called out the number of our flight. We have to board.'

They grabbed their bags and headed towards the gate.

This is a lovely start, Little M. You've captured the cuteness of Willow and Tara and you've also chosen a wonderful spot for them to go to. The Wicklow mountains are just beautiful.

Just a little tip -

Get yourself a beta reader. That's one sure fire way to make this a really top notch fic. It also helps to work out little kinks as well, grammatical or otherwise, if you're at all unsure of your English.

Thanks for posting this. I look forward to reading more.

Little M A nice start. I like the idea of them going away from the Hellmouth, where they can relax and not worry about any big bads.

And thanks for bringing them to Ireland - maybe I'll meet them!

And thanx for all the replies people, new update coming soon!

A beta reader is someone who reads your fic before you post it. That person will tell you if you have typos, grammatical and spelling errors. If you request it, a fic will also help you with characterization and plot lines. They are like editors, in a way.

There's a list of beta readers on the board. :D

Part Two

'Willow, can you please sit still for a minute??'Tara sighed. Willow was really nervous and had been in the airplane for too long. 'I'm sorry Tar, it's just...I dunno, I'm really excited and so curious. You planned all this and that has made me even more curious!'

Tara smiled mysteriously. 'I'm glad I did all that....because I found something really special. Besides, I just wanted to surprise you with this trip. You know, to get your mind off the things that have been going on in the last couple of months. Willow's face darkened as she thought back about the things she'd done and how that had hurt Tara. Suddenly she grabbed Tara's head with both her hands and pulled her into a deep, passionate kiss. 'Wow' was all that Tara could say after Willow suddenly being so affectionate. 'That was.....wow'. Willow looked into Tara's eyes and said 'You know I love you right?''Yeah Will, I know and I love you too'. Tara's thoughts were interrupted as she heard the stewardess say they were going to land in five minutes.

'Oh we're almost there, I am so excited! I am going to show you all the beautiful spots and I want to learn you to drink Guinness, 'cos that stuff is like divine, and you really must see that museum in Dublin and.....Oh god, I'm babbling aren't I?' If Willow hadn't been in an airplanechair, she would have been rolling on the floor. 'I just love that look on your face, sweetie. I really infected you with my Willbabble haven't I?' Tara giggled and agreed. 'But I like it, cos Willowbabble is cute'. She quickly kissed Willow then fastened her seatbelt. 'Honey, put on your seatbelt'. She saw that Willow had gotten lost somewhere right after 'cute'. 'Huh? Oh yeah....seatbelt...right, sure, okay..' Tara grinned then concentrated on the landing. Even though she loved flying

she hated the landings. Willow grabbed her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. 'We'll be down in no time, darling. Just focus on me, hahaha. Ok, I should work on my humor' she said when she saw Tara's glare, who burst in laughter right after that cos Tara couldn't keep a pokerface for long.

They landed and walked out of the airplane. Even though she was very tired and not as sharp as usually, Willow spotted the green leprechauns and rugbyshirts in the shops immediatly. 'God everything is green here Tara, and we're not even outside of the airport', Willow said with a grin.

'They're awful aren't they?' Tara asked. 'Well', Willow said and her grin widened,'perhaps we can take one back with us, for Buffy to sleep with!'

They got their bags and went over to the desk where they would be able to rent a car. After they filled in the papers, they walked to the carpark.

'V23, V25, V27 ah there it is, V29' Willow pointed. When they arrived at the parkinglot they stopped dead in their tracks. 'Good god, what the hell is that?!?!?' Tara cried out. 'Well we sure won't go around the country unnoticed', Willow said. Before them stood an old and bright yellow Beetle.

'Are you sure this is the car we rented?' 'Yeah Will, look it's right here on the papers. But you know, it's rather cute...once you get over the shock', Tara laughed. Willow sighed 'Well as long as it drives, it's fine by me. Shall we call him 'Duckie'?' Willow chuckled. 'You can call him what you want, I just want to get to our hotel'. They got their bags in the car and drove off to their hotel, which was in the centre of Dublin. They got to their room, and crashed in their beds. 'I hate jetlags', Willow sighed. 'Just rest, honey, because there is some sightseeing I want to do tomorrow. I have so much to show you'. Tara kissed Willow softly on the lips and closed her eyes. Willow wrapped her arms around Tara and huddled closer. Within the minute they had fallen asleep.

The next day they had gotten used to the time difference and they decided to go to the centre of Dublin. They looked around and bought some supplies. Willow also bought some cd's with Irish music and musicians, because 'now that we're here we might as well enjoy what the culture has to offer, right?'

'So, how long will the drive to the cottage take us?' Willow asked Tara. 'About 2 hours, so I think we should get back to the hotel and pack our stuff, because I want to be at the cottage before dinner and it's 2 o'clock now' Tara said.

When they got back to the hotel, they packed their stuff in the car and drove off. Tara gave Willow some of the documents of the cottage and the map. 'You have to check if we're heading in the right direction, honey. You know how bad I am with maps. I don't even know how to fold them properly'. 'No problem, miss, you asked the right person' Willow said with a grin. She quickly scanned the documents, looking for a description of the house, but she couldn't find anything. 'I want you to be surprised, love' Tara smiled mysteriously. Willow muttered something about 'lovers and secrets, gah I hate curiosity'. 'We'll be there soon dear...' Tara said.
