Lisa,

I'm sorry, I tried to be good and wait quietly, but my impatience got the better of me. Any idea when we might be able to get another update?

This fiic is almost too much fun, seriously. Heh, oh, and I love Morgan than you will ever know:

Quote:
Morgan rolled her eyes. "They consider her insignificant- a burned out junkie who lost her power and who just happens to fuck the Imbolc mage." She caught her own mistake. "I mean … skillfully fuck the former Imbolc mage."

Lisa, I have to say, it took me reading two times to actually understand what was going on. LOL and now I need an update..soon please.

Alright as far as more thoughtful bumping goes:

I really love this fic. I love Bre and Dawn, as well as every other charachter you made more real to me through writing then Joss ever did on the show. Thank you so much for this, I hope all is well on your end and you continue this one soon.

Lisa is a Goddess

Postby Happy Demon » Mon Jun 09, 2003 11:53 am

Okay, technically I'm a new kitten because I'm so lazy I just now got my ezboard account, but I've been lurking the kitten board for over a year. I'm a jerk for reading everyone's great work and not giving feedback, I know, but Lisa has inspired me. When I read Tears of the Goddess the first time I wrote you an email or two for feedback, anyway. The first fic I read of yours was Bound, my reaction was, "Wow, there's no way I'll see another fic on par with this." Then I went to your website and read Tears of the Goddess, "Damn! That was amazing! But watch she'll never write another story.." :cry Then, Unexpected Consequences, "Yes! Another story!" I read it in four days, would've been shorter if life *cough* TV *cough* hadn't gotten in the way. And again, I was sad, thinking there'd be no more after Unexpected Consequences, but alas Milestones and I rejoiced.:applause Basically I'll just repeat what everyone else has said, your writng is incredible, and reading your stories are something I truly enjoy. So, thank you? Is thank you appropriate? No, hmm... I know! I am unworty in your presence and bow before your writing skills:bow . Yeah that'll do.

Sidenote: Bre and Dawn, woo.:clap

I was rereading old parts, and goddamn it I have needs and you must write more.

Okay, yeah. I have a crush on the Brawnie. Not to mention that you ended on a frickin' cliffhanger.

So, yeah. Just gonna remind you that you're the coolest person in the world, and more so if you write.

And oh yeah: no pressure.:bow

Just finished chapter 18 and... OMG !!!

I'm expecting some Matrix-y special effects here, something on the level of the Primevil final battle with Adam.

But then what? I mean if this is a "wilding", and the whole sanctuary is infected, can the balancing rite still stop it?

Quote:
"The initial infection will be controllable. The wrathfire will show first. It can be lethal, but it’s nothing compared to the ardorflame." She glanced out the small window. "If the wilding comes full term, you won’t be able to achieve balance. Ever." She looked at Brent regretfully. "If that happens, the committee will have to get involved. They’ll have to terminate the source— Willow and Tara."

I really don't like Morgan :paranoid

Update on the writer not the story:

Postby Lisa of Nine » Fri Jul 11, 2003 1:42 am

Hello all, and WOW! Thank you for all the kinds words. I've been away from the net dealing with some not so pleasant stuff, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. (And I don't think it's a train!)

I've been away from my writing as well as being away from this lovely board. I hope to dive back into both ASAP.

I'm having surgery tomorrow to remove an ovarian cyst. Tim will let you guys know ASAP after I am out of the OR. I just wanted to let you all know that I have been thinking of you, but I've been a bit too stressed to write. I should have lots of time post op, plus, I'll have many doctor details for the Brawnie fans.

As for Ceri- I will tell you right now, she and Brigh are soulmates, and I consider that sacred.

Now, Brawnie? ... well, much confusion, misdirection, and some bar-room-brawling ahead.

Morgan- how can a woman with a mind that dirty be all bad? ;-)

I'll post when I get home. Don't worry. I'm sure everything will come out fine. I'm considering the entire surgery research for Doctor Dawnie's storyline.

Like Lisa said, I'll let everyone know the second I know something.

Dawn and Bre in a bar fight? Hmm...how come I have the feeling this is going to start with shots? The whisky kind, not from Bre's glock.

Take care Lisa. We will be rooting for you.

Lisa is out of surgery!

Postby WebWarlock » Fri Jul 11, 2003 2:45 pm

I just spoke to Lisa's aunt!

Lisa is out of surgery now and off to recovery.

The cyst they removed was not cancerous so that is good.

She will be there until Sunday. I'll post again with a hospital room

and other contact info.

thank you all!

Postby Lisa of Nine » Mon Jul 14, 2003 11:57 am

Hi everyone. Thank you all for the concern. I made it home and I am feeling better. I didn't want anyone worrying before so I kept the details a bit vague. Now that the surgery is over I'll tell you that they removed a large cyst- 20 cm. That's 8 inches across (slightly smaller than a volleyball). They also had to do a hysterectomy, but I was able to keep one ovary. I am very sore, but I know I will feel better

soon. Knowing that you were all pulling for me gave me great strength. Thank you.

I'll be sleeping a lot for a few days, then I hope to get back to writing. I now have quite a few medical stories for the Doctor Dawnie bits. Nothing like a hospital stay for new embarrassing tales. ;-)

Texas Mittens, thanks for the beautiful flowers!

Tim, thanks for the chocolate! You get to be an honorary lesbian.

Everyone, thanks for your generous support through this and everything else.

Thanks again,

Lisa
