Aww poor piper but that is what you get for no update!! Anyone got a extra handy just in case someone is slacking off and not updating just to punish me...or us. Okay just ignore me now. I'll wait for the longer update though but hurry up!!

never have i know the true definition of harassment until now...sheesh you guys are persistant! Tell ya what...i'll give you guys an update tomorow...how's that?



It's really very short but it'll have to hold you for the weekend. Good news is though, that i know exactly what i want to happen from this point forward, so there should be no more writer's block, hopefully.





Edited to add: And PLEASE put the weapons down! You're really begining to frighten me! If i have nightmares about angry kittens chasing me down with pitchforks, axes, and chainsaws, i may just have to hurt someone!

LMAO! Prairy dogs! Rottweilers! That's just too funny! I love both of those animals! But a poodle, however...*grimace* now those are just...scary! What with their fluff and everything! Eek!



Here's the update...even though i don't think SOME of you deserve it! *cough*steph*cough*faye*cough* Anyway, i haven't sent it to a beta so it's got lots and lots o' spelling mistakes but i don't really care. I wish i could've made it longer but alas, i couldn't. *shrug* It really is the shortest chapter EVER, at exactly 1 1/2 pages long. (oh and dont expect too many laughs either...i just had to type it up real quick so i could get it moving again )





Chapter 14: The Mini-Chapter (The Rapids)



When they had filed into their seats, the arrangements were as such: Buffy and Dawn sat next to each other on the far side of the raft, Xander and Anya to the right of them, and then Willow and Tara to the left of Buffy and Dawn.



All of them buckled up without incident before the employee gave thumbs up to the person sending the rides off. With a small jerk signaling the start of the ride, they were off.



It began slowly, the raft going floating along gently.



Anya looked around bored. “You said this was a fun ride.” She said pointedly, looking to the others. “So where’s the fun?”



Xander grinned. “Just be patient Ahn.”



Anya sat back and crossed her arms, looking slightly annoyed but didn’t say anything else.



They rounded a corned and the pace picked up. Anya’s eyes lit up, “Now this is more like it!”



Rounding another corner they found themselves targets of bystanders. People on the sidelines took aim and shot the water-spitting gargoyles. Each and every one of the Scoobies got pegged, save Willow and Tara, who’s backs were towards the shooters.



Xander got shot by an old man who must have been at least 60 years old, his eyes crinkling with laughter as he shot Xander dead in the chest, soaking him. Buffy and Dawn got hit with one shot by a teenager who looked about Dawn’s age. A child that couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years old, however, pegged Anya, right in the face.



Willow and Tara giggled, glad to have been avoided and happy of the placement of the raft. Turning to look at the reactions of their friends they saw Anya looking outraged. “How dare you!” she shouted, turning her head unsuccessfully and trying to glare behind her to the laughing crowd and the small kid, who was promptly jumping up and down, her tongue sticking out at Anya.



Buffy and Dawn were laughing so hard at Anya’s expense that they almost added another type of wetness to their already soaking bodies…that just happened to be of the yellowish variety.



Anya hadn’t finished however. Still craning her neck around, she took a deep angry breath and started again, “You just wait until I get off this ride you little -” Xander’s wet hand halted Anya’s speech for the 2nd time that day, though this time he quickly yanked it away before she could bite him again. They had now rounded a corner so the little child was out of site. Anya huffed, “Now that was just…rude!”



Rounding another corner they were met with 3 consecutive waterfalls. The Scoobies screamed and tried to make their raft lean one way or another to try and get the other side wet and to avoid another soggy collision.



Xander and Anya leaned towards the left, followed by Willow and Tara, making it so that Buffy and Dawn got the waterfall full force pounding down on their heads. The same thing happened for the 2nd waterfall but on the 3rd Xander and Anya turned on Willow and Tara.



The two soon-to-be-married couple grinned secretly at one another and yanked their bodies to the right. Willow’s eyes got wide, for she knew what they were doing a moment to late.



Screaming and ducking didn’t help as the two witches got drenched from head to toe as the impending waterfall pegged them full-force smack dab on the tops of their heads.



Sitting up again, they didn’t even bother swiping their sopping hair from their faces, seeing as they were laughing to hard at the picture of the other to do anything else.



2 waterfalls and 8 large splashes later the ride came to an end. From the tops of their heads down to their now almost soggy toes not one of the Scoobies had so much as a tiny speck of dryness on any part of their body.



Sauntering over to their bags they had left by the exit, laughing and joking all the while, they picked them up and squashed out into the crowd, looking for the next ride they were to conquer, laughing and joking all the while.

Animals kinda dont like me tho.....I've been bitten by a giraffe, growled at by an ostrich, lunged at by a monkey, bitten by a snake and a mouse, and a little baby lamb.....um.... head buttet by a horse, and shoved by an elephant.....this is why i never go to zoos anymore......
