What really surprises me is how much I'm into this since your charcaterizations are very different fm how I see them. To me, Tara's emotional strngth was such that, if Willow had been the one killed 1) she wouldn't have tried for the resurrection 2) she wouldn't have taken the law into her own hands w Warren 3) she'd miss Willow but she wouldn't get so torn down by it thta she couldn't be happy. (That's just how I see them; Wllow as socially strong and Tara as emtoionally so.) I also like the way you dealt w Tara's new identity.

As for the baby, it seems so cosmically right that the one baby belongs to them both biologically. (What can I say, I'm into eugenics.) In my own fanfics, I just had them do the conventional thing w egg donation, sperm donor, petri dish, and reimplantation, once each for Summer and Autumn. I always like it when soemone works a fantasy angle into the daily life of people in a fantasy world w/o using fantasy as a simple shortcut.

And you have my sympathy as a Brit trying to write dialog for Americans. Yes, i pick up little things here and there, but generally you do very well. I have a Watcher in my fics and I'm always scared he'll sound like someone out of an old comic book. (I went so far once as having him say "aw, fiddle-faddle!")

On the whole a great job.

Hehehehe :lol Yah Gem dear, gotta remember that I'm very much taken, although it's my bad for letting my post wander into the gutter.... it's the girlfriend missage (and the fact that there was a really nasty show all about sex on TV when I was surffing for a show.... *shudders*).

Gem;

Most definitely go with the update :grin

Just a note to say I totally agree with your notions about Not writing the speech, I do think it would have been something just too personal, and best left up to the imagination of the readers. By "more alone time" I meant to just be, and feed off the emotions flying around.

Definitely think the girls bond with the Scoobies was never explored enough, and as I said, it was nice to see them around, and supportive as well.

Why is this fic so good, because it isn't about 2 women in love. It IS about Willow and Tara ( Oh and :baby ) and that my dear, is why we are here!

Thanks, BV

Part 11b - Being In Love

Postby Miss1234Kitty » Fri Nov 15, 2002 5:32 pm

LC... I saw Harry Potter during the previews... that's how much I like it! It's sooooo good. However, update is here! Very small update, but it's still something. So, without further ado, I present Part 11b - Being In Love!

Part 11b – Being In Love

Tara snuggled closer to Willow, sighing in happiness as she felt her lover slide in beside her like the missing piece in a difficult puzzle. Slipping her arms around the slim waist, Tara frowned as she felt something penetrate her sleep. Twitching one eye open, she reluctantly sat up and glanced around the room. She longed to return to her lover’s arms, but she wouldn’t risk Willow safety for any amount of comfort.

It hit them both at the same time, and Willow jerked from sleep and rushed out of bed as Tara was stumbling out of the door.

“Ooooh,” Willow groaned as she hunched over the toilet bowl, feeling terrible. The worse thing was that Tara clearly felt just as bad, and Willow felt too wretched to comfort her lover.

Tara, bending over in the bathroom, with her hands resting on her knees, exhaled slowly. The nausea which had hit them both hard was abating slightly, but she was breathing heavily and her hair was plastered to her face. Glancing up momentarily, cursing the dizziness which gave the room an unfocused appearance, she saw Willow on her knees in front of the toilet. The pain and strain showing clearly on Willow’s face hurt Tara more than any amount of dizzy spells, and she stumbled forward, kneeling behind Willow and resting her hands gently on her lover’s shoulders.

“You okay?” Tara whispered shakily, gently massaging the tense muscles. She frowned as she found one particularly strained knot, and bit her lip in concentration as she worked it out firmly.

“Yeah,” Willow exhaled. “You?” She turned her head to see Tara’s nod, and immediately had to turn back again. “Tara, what the hell is happening?” she groaned. “This is not fun.”

Tara shook her head with a smile. “No, it isn’t,” she agreed. “I think we just had our first bout of morning sickness, Will.”

Willow shook her head firmly. “No,” she argued. “I have talked to people who have had morning sickness. It is not that bad. I refuse to let you go through that for the next seven freaking months!”

Her girlfriend’s full lips twitched upwards. “Freaking? Will, have you been watching Charmed again?”

“Don’t change the subject,” Willow pouted. “Besides, it’s about witches. It’s educational. The point is that I am pregnant. I do not like the idea of that happening to me for the next seven months. You were ill as well, and you’re not pregnant.” Her eyes shot open.

“No, I’m not,” Tara reassured her, idly wondering what fantastic idea her girlfriend would come up with next.

“Or maybe it was like a special,” Willow mused. “Kind of like, okay, this is your first bout of morning sickness together, so you’re both gonna get it, twice as bad?”

“Two for the price of one?” Tara asked dryly, deciding that not even she could predict the lengths to which Willow’s brain could jump. Willow winced in disgust, and nodded. Tara suddenly realised that they were both kneeling on the cold bathroom tiles, in nightdresses, and that neither of them was entirely healthy. “Never mind,” she told Willow. “We’ll sort things out later, but for now, let’s go back to bed before we wake Dawn and Buffy, okay? We need to make you a doctor’s appointment in the morning as well.”

“Sounds like a good idea,” Willow agreed gratefully, rising to her feet and pulling Tara firmly to hers, keeping her lover’s hand firmly entangled in hers as they returned to their room, determined to catch up on the sleep of which they had been robbed.

I really like this fic and should comment more. I like how you handled the conversation on the bench as well as their excellent discussion about the forget spell.

Willow's definitely my favorite character and the reason I watch the show.

Your thoughts about Willow's magic use are insightful, especially your point about the Scoobies acting as enablers for her overuse of magicks. Tara didn't do anything to contradict them either, not that she had much of a chance to do that after TL when Willow started getting heavily into the dark stuff so I don't blame her as much as you seem to. It would be interesting to see what she did over the summer; that might tell us how responsible she really was.

Grim, your views on DMW are pretty similar to mine with Willow's problem being that she wants to help. She just doesn't know where to stop--I guess the Dark Rose is an extreme example of that as 19 years of failing haven't stopped her from trying to fix that one wrong. Gem, hope you don't mind another mention of that here. I can't think of another example of another dark Willow story though there have to be some out there.

I do think the two fights are what caused Willow to use the forget spell; in fact, I couldn't believe she would cast it until I thought back to Tough Love and what happened after they fought. I think it took an emotional reaction such as that intense fear as well as a desire to fix things to get her to cast that spell. That said, while that explains why she would do such a thing, it certainly doesn't justify her action which is completely inexcusable under the circumstances.

The Willow/Giles relationship is a key point. It's so important to her, even as late as Grave as you point out, but he never treats it as such, rarely bothering to show her the care and guidance that he should know she needs given his own experiences with Eyghon and such. The way he treats her then ignores her in season 6 is completely inexcusable.

Poor girls, all with the morning sickness. Not cool.

This going to be so cool to see them go through this pregnancy together. It could be very comical with Willow and all. Or maybe that’s just me. She can say some wacky things out of nowhere sometimes. But I’ll brace myself just in case something else happens instead. Thank you for updating, it’s always a pleasure to read.

Funny Gem, Willow is the reason you're still watching the show and the reason I stopped. After the past weeks episode (Conversations with Dead People) I just couldn't take the Willow-tears anymore. Also the preview showed Spike lookin like he was bitting Buffy.......biggest of No-No's in my book. NOBODY BITES BUFFY BUT ANGEL! His mark didn't fade like the Master's or Dracula's. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. However I'd like to bit ME for what they've done to the most wonderful show ever.

LMAO! Willow watches Charmed! :lol Fitting now that Piper is pregnant. *laugh*

Great work Gem.....btw Harry Potter was really good, I saw it last night.

:wave Hey, Gem dear.

I'm just terrible about giving feedback but I really do enjoy this fic. Been reading the W/T debate on the previous page and have to agree that Giles could have and should have stepped in right after the fight in the kitchen in Flooded. He knew she was out of control, from personal experience (hello! insert coven visit now) yet he did nothing. Blech...

I think Tara knew and turned her head but eventually when she couldn't any longer she spoke up. The forget spell, bullcrud and I hate every bit of it. That Willow would so easily violate her lover's mind like that. Hate it! hate it! hate it! (channeling Dawn :lol ) But ME had their great plan. Which is shite as well and I don't even want to go into that.

OKay just one little thing. Real Willow would still be on the floor holding her lover, locked in that room, exausting every ounce of herself trying to save her.

Ahhhhhh ok I feel better.

Loved the shared sickness scene. Something about the two of them sharing a pregnancy, I don't know why I like it so much.

And at this point I will be mute, as I may have rambled too much already. Great stuff!!!

Oh, and I'll try not to be so bad with feedback.

Okay, they are finally here! I have started from my explanation about why I didn't reply - which didn't actually happen because... well Harry Potter, and Politics. Ugh on the politics, yay on the movie. Many apologies to those who haven't had replies, and I promise that next time you reply, you will get a personal note. These replies will not be as long though... I think making them short unless there's a huge issue to be debated means that updates and replies can come up faster. Some people - I think it's just BV and LC have two replies, as I was replying to the certain comments about each of the updates.

Barnabasvamp... sorry about the lack of update. I'm glad you agree on the Scooby time, I just felt that there needed to be some lighthearted friendship after all that crying.

LadyCallie... yes, someone did say post, and then decided not to. *Looks around* Who did that?

Grimlock... tee hee, I think I confused everyone! Tara is not being sick out of sympathy, don't worry. The morning sickness will not be that bad all the way through though.

Darkmagicwillow... don't worry about the commenting. If you're reading it and enjoying it, that's enough for me. I have to admit that I do blame Tara quite a bit, but no more than I do Willow, probably less actually. My view is that we first noticed when Tara did that Willow was playing around with spells in S5 Out Of My Mind, but nobody did anything about it. Buffy just asked her to do more and more spells. After years of being the sidekick, she was the 'big gun'. How was she supposed to give that up? As for the Giles thing, I have disliked him immensely since he left in Bargaining. Willow tried to explain to him in Dracula Vs Buffy that they needed watching too, and he just forgot about her. Grrr... sorry.

Vampivy... Willow's quirky sense of humour is going nowhere, don't worry. Thank you for reading.

Mollyig... tee hee, you're not the only one. I thought it would be interesting to write about Willow being pregnant. A lot of people think that Tara is the more motherly one, but I think that's only because of Willow's lack of a mother model.

LadyCallie... in case you lot haven't noticed, I'm writing in order here, addressing different replies, so you get two! Lucky American, getting to watch the new series. I think tears are necessary for the grieving process, but my fic's tears are going to be happy tears from now on, don't worry. In my opinion, Buffy deserves not a biting but a kick up the ass in the show. Tara's death did that for my Buffy - at least, I think so. As for Charmed, I love it... BTW does anyone know what happened to Piper? Not Charmed Piper, Kitten Piper who disappeared about three updates ago... and I think that Willow would probably watch it. Come on, it's about three very attractive witches! Who wouldn't? Harry Potter was great.

Barnabasvamp... another two updates for you! Aren't you lucky? As for the sickness, I never said it was morning sickness. Tara and Willow ASSUMED it was morning sickness. *g* Have I just completely confused everyone?

Urn of Osiris... hi! Haven't seen you in before, and I'm glad you're going to reply, though you don't have to if you just want to read the updates. Obviously you're not a S6 Giles fan either. Hopefully in S7 he will go so mad with guilt that he will become addicted and bring Tara back to life. Then the coven can take all his power away, no one will be addicted, and they can all live happily ever after. No, I don't trust ME to do that either. As for what Real Willow would have done, I completely agree. Quoting Charmed here, but the witches and the Scoobies have the same kind of mission, "Our job is to save the innocent, not punish the quilty." Buffy has ignored that rule time and time again, but I can't think of a time that Willow has. Can anyone else? I haven't seen them all, or I might have forgotten something.

Wow, long replies! Talk to you all soon!

Tears in Heaven, Part 11c - Being In Love

Postby Miss1234Kitty » Thu Nov 21, 2002 4:11 pm

“I hate research!” Willow scowled, bending over the pile of books on the large table at the Magic Box. Buffy’s mouth literally dropped open, and Tara turned around from the stack of shelves abruptly, staring at her girlfriend in alarm. Willow looked up, and caught the alarmed expression on Tara’s face. “What?”

“The kid’s taken over her body!” Anya announced as she clambered down the stairs, her arms full of ‘forbidden’ books. “It’s happened several times,” she said knowledgeably.

Willow brightened. “Hey, that happened on… some tv show which I do not watch,” she muttered as Tara smiled triumphantly.

“Oh, Charmed steals all kinds of demonic legends,” Anya responded brightly, hoping that she and Willow might be able to bond over tv. “Only they get things wrong. Basically it takes over your body and you die.”

“One,” Tara interrupted harshly, “our daughter is not taking over Willow’s body. Two, she is not an ‘it’. Three, we should be researching.”

Anya’s eyes widened, but she obediently sat down beside Willow and began to research as Tara marched over to the shelves, checking for ingredients for possible spells.

“You okay?” Willow asked, coming up behind her.

Tara smiled. She hadn’t heard her soulmate follow her, but Willow’s presence beside her didn’t surprise her. “Yeah, I am,” she replied honestly. “I just don’t like what’s going on, Will. I know we said what happened this morning was morning sickness, but I think we should be checking into it.”

“We are,” Willow pointed out. “Whatever it was, it was probably something to do with our daughter. We’re looking for information on Elders and gifts, and Buffy’s looking especially for things that cause Wicca sickness. It could just have been a reaction to a spell in the area or something. We’ve had it before.”

Tara shook her head. Something about this told her that it wasn’t a Hellmouth overload, and that they wouldn’t find anything on the Elders. The First Elder was far older than any written book that Giles could name. His wise nature made her sure that he was perfectly capable of covering his tracks. “I just think we should be doing more.”

Giles came up behind them, and that did surprise Tara. Willow slipped an arm around her waist, reassuring her lover with her touch. “I agree,” Giles responded, giving Tara an apologetic smile. “Tara, this First Elder didn’t tell you anything more? Just that you have a duty, and your child is part of it.” Tara nodded. “Well, that’s helpful,” he muttered in a rare show of anger. Normally placid and cool there was something about two of the women that he considered daughters being in potential danger that made him a little nervous.

“Oh please,” Anya scoffed. “The Elders invented the word cryptic. They invented the word vague. Hell, they probably invented the whole damn dictionary,” she scowled, glaring at her book, and slamming it shut in frustration.

Buffy followed suit. “There is nothing here!” she announced loudly. “I swear, Tara, I know your Mom’s an Elder and all, but when I meet this First Elder guy, I’m gonna kick his ass straight back to Wicca heaven. Stupid prophesying dreams, gifts without a tag, Wicca morning sickness…”

Anya froze, an expression that they had all come to alternately love or hate pictured clearly on her face. “Dreams…” she said slowly, screwing up her forehead in concentration.

“What?” Buffy asked, alarmed. “I don’t like the look on your face. What’s wrong with Willow’s dreams?”

“Hang on a second,” Anya snapped. “Try being around for 1100 years, Buffy, you’ll forget a few things. You can’t even remember what you have for breakfast this morning.”

“Bagels!” Buffy told her triumphantly.

“Toast,” Willow and Tara corrected in unison, and Anya smirked at Buffy.

“Be quiet,” she scolded, “and go and get the big black book.”

Willow’s eyes shot open. The big black book was full of dark magick spells. That was how she’d learnt the spell that she’d cast on Tara. “No,” she argued. “No way. Absolutely no. See? This is my ‘no’ face. I am putting my foot down.” She stomped her foot for emphasis. “Neither Tara nor I are casting any black magic spells.” Tara nodded in agreement.

“Geez, Willow,” Anya sighed. “Overreacting much? That book isn’t just full of spells, though I’m sure you thought that. There’s some research stuff in there, and I’m pretty sure you and Tara have worked your way in there.” Willow frowned in confusion, glancing curiously at Anya, who was staring thoughtfully at Tara.

Buffy grunted as she carried the large book down the steps. “What are you grunting for?” Willow asked reasonably as she reluctantly bent over the book. “You’re the Slayer.” Buffy shrugged.

Anya flipped straight to the back, seeming to read the words in an instant, and then slammed the book open, straight to the middle. “There!” she announced, pointing straight at a large black title.

Tara bent over it, reading aloud for the benefit of Willow, who was well aware that she needed glasses, and yet refused to get them. “Castimonia dea,” she read aloud. “Two wiccans of pure heart and pure love. This purity passes through generations, until the descendants of the two goddesses meet once more. When it seems to all that the reception of the Gift is necessary, then it is given and the two goddesses spend eternity protecting it until it is judged time for them to rest and the mantle of Purity is passed to the Gift.”

I might have missed something but who needs glasses, Willow or Tara ?

Secondly I agree with all scoobies looking strange at Willow when she mentioned hating research. It's definitly a bad sign :)

Now if somebody could kindly explain why a legend about two women in love having a baby and such is described in an otherwise dark magic book, that would be nice... 'cos I'm at a loss for what that description is doing in said book.

Good Willow for staying far away from it though :D

4evaWill... did I confuse you a bit? Sorry sweetie! As for the cliffhanger, you've already read it, remember! For people that do want to read updates before they're posted, you can just email me, you know. I'm just wondering whether people read these all they way through, or just scroll for their name.

LadyCallie... methinks I'm going a bit overboard with the twists... that's not the only one! I know of at least three, and knowing me I'll come up with another one pretty soon as I've come up with this latest twist just writing it! Um, I'm assuming it's a very good pun, but I'm afraid it must be American, because me being English and silly (insulting me, not English people here!), I didn't understand it :blush Sorry!

Grimlock72... oops, sorry, I probably wasn't specific enough there. I meant that Willow needed glasses, not Tara. As for the legend being in the dark magick book, I think (only think) I've explained that in the next update. Basically, it's because the Capitula Dea are a mixture of dark and light, which is why Willow went through the whole addiction thing. All will be revealed eventually, don't worry!

Eccentrictulip... ahhhh, but what kind of Goddesses? Sorry, was just looking at your sig there and getting ideas. I think it's like a fic-writer's rule. Willow and Tara must be goddesses. Maybe it should be in the Pens rules...

Part 11d - Being In Love

Postby Miss1234Kitty » Wed Nov 27, 2002 3:20 pm

Tara blinked.

Willow’s eyes widened as her face paled, and she carefully seated herself as the room threatened to unsettle itself once more. Tara sat beside her, immediately noticing her lover’s fatigue, and gently slipped an arm around Willow, rubbing the small of her back soothingly.

“The Capitula Dea,” Giles whispered, awe in his tone as he stared at the two wiccans in shock. “The Two That Are Blessed. Of course. I should have known right from the very start.” Muttering to himself, he moved away to sift through a pile of research books on the counter.

“The Two That Are Blessed? Is that what it means?” Buffy asked curiously, wishing she’d listened when Willow had tried to teach her Latin.

“No, it actually means The Purity Goddesses,” Tara responded. “More often than not, though, they are known as The Two That Are Blessed, or The Blessed Ones.”

Willow turned to her curiously, “You’ve heard about them?”

Tara nodded. “My mother told me,” she explained. “A long, long time ago. She didn’t say anything about it while I was gone, though,” she wondered, and winced in sympathy as Willow turned away slightly, hating every mention of the time that they had spent apart. “Sorry, darling,” she whispered, taking the slim hand in her own.

“You’re goddesses,” Buffy said suddenly, as though Anya had only just that second announced her new-found information, though in fact all five had been stunned into silence for close to ten minutes.

“Well, duh,” Anya said matter-of-factly, pretending her mouth hadn’t been hanging open in shock. “I knew there was something different about you two, and with the dreams combined, any demon with half-a-brain would have figured it out.”

Giles stopped rifling through the books. “Dreams?” he asked curiously. “You didn’t say anything about dreams.”

“Well, of course they’ve had the dreams!” Anya threw up her arms in frustration. “What kind of a Watcher are you? It doesn’t say in the book, there isn’t any written record of it, but that’s how you can tell that they are The Two That Are Blessed. That’s their gift. The gift of insight, and from it they find their purity through peace of mind and heart,” Anya quoted, remembering something that Hallie had told her a long time ago, and acting as though she hadn’t longed for that gift since long before she had become a demon. “Tara told you that it was your duty to carry the burden of dark magick, right, Willow?” Anya asked, smiling in satisfaction as the confused redhead nodded. “You have dreams about the future, right?” she checked.

Willow’s eyes widened. “How did you know?” she asked in shock. “I only told Tara and Buffy…” she turned to the Slayer, knowing that her soulmate hadn’t mentioned anything to Anya. Buffy shook her head.

“Okay, and Tara, I’m guessing you see things that have happened in the past, only with a different kind of perception on it?” Tara nodded, knowing that it was her gift that had sent the dream to her. The dream that told her to return to Willow the day before her own death.

Anya nodded. “Those are the dreams. That’s their gift.”

Tara opened her mouth to ask Anya a question, but the demon seemed to have anticipated her query, because she added quickly, “Oh, and did you get ill? Because that was the darkness washing out of both you. When you receive the Gift, the Purity takes over. That’s why women get morning sickness when they’re pregnant as well. Scientists have come up with this whole scientific theory, but it’s really that the goodness of the child is releasing the darkness that comes with aging.” Anya sniffed. “Scientists. They don’t know anything.”

Willow scowled. “Well, how come Cordelia gets our gift too? She gets visions. If she’s a goddess too, then I’m giving my goddess-power back.”

“Xander’s skanky ex-girlfriend has no such gift,” Anya growled. “Her visions get passed from person to person like baggage. Yours are specifically for you. Willow, you’ve spent your life since you were sixteen fighting demons. Your girlfriend died. I’m guessing you’re pretty scared of what the future holds for you, and for your friends, or whether it holds anything for you at all. So, The Powers decided that you carry the dark mantle, and the mantle of the future. Tara, your dad ruined your entire childhood. Your past, like Willow’s whole ‘Oops, I just cast a spell on my girlfriend’ scares you. That’s why you get dreams about the past, and that’s why you cast light-based spells, because everyone’s purer in their youth. The dreams are meant to bring you two peace of mind, so that you’re not scared any more. That’s how you achieve purity of soul and heart. That’s why you two carry the mantle of Capitula Dea.”

Willow’s eyes widened, and she shook her head exaggeratedly. “Wow. Geez, was nothing in mine and Tara’s lives a coincidence?”

“Of course not,” Anya responded, missing the sarcasm. Willow opened her mouth opened to correct the demon, but closed it again as she felt her lover’s hand, wrapped securely in her own, start to shake.

“What is it?” she asked Tara softly. In reply, Tara wrenched her hand from Willow’s grasp and jumped up, heading towards the door. Willow followed. “Tara, don’t go. Please.” She didn’t notice their other three companions slip silently out of the back door.

Tara turned back to Willow. She was shaking violently, and a light sheen of sweat covered her brow as she reached out both of her hands to her lover blindly.

Willow drew the blonde into her arms without question, kissing silky hair, gently smoothing her hands up and down Tara’s back as she waited for her soulmate to calm herself.

Eventually, the shaking slowed and stopped as Tara gathered her thoughts. “Let’s sit down,” Willow murmured. She tried to guide the blonde into a chair, but her legs wouldn’t support her, so Willow lowered them both gently to the floor, kneeling down as Tara sat in front of her with her legs stuck straight out in front of her, leaning back against the redhead.

Willow wrapped her arms gently around Tara’s stomach, smiling as she felt the blonde relax into her loving ministrations. “You wanna tell me what’s the matter?” she whispered into Tara’s ear.

Breathing deeply as her mother had taught her to, Tara nodded. “You and our daughter are the best things that have ever happened to me,” she told her soulmate, knowing in her heart that Willow had known this for all of her life. “Now I’m finding out that you, and our gift, was given to me because of the way that he treated me. His hatred of me led to your love, and I just don’t understand why we both had to suffer so much in order to be loved! We’ve had our destiny’s arranged, practically had our free will taken away, and we’ve had to suffer for it.” Hiccuping, Tara realised that she wasn’t making much sense, and idly wondered if she’d picked up Willow’s babbling habit. Trying to explain, she asked in a childish voice, “Shouldn’t we be allowed to love anyway? I don’t want goddess powers, Willow. All I want is you and our daughter, and I don’t see why we had to go through hell to get that!”

“We?” Willow asked curiously.

Tara closed her eyes, letting the tears roll down her face. Strangely, her pain calmed her. She was used to pain. “When I was dead, Mom said that I had gone through actual hell – the hell that’s in our minds and hearts, not the place hell – when I was little, because of the way he treated me. While – and while I was gone, we were in hell, Will. Your personal hell was to lose me, to kill and to hate, and my personal hell was to be without you. We went through that, Willow, just so that we were allowed to love each other, and shouldn’t we be allowed to love anyway?”

“Of course we should,” Willow responded, knowing the answer instinctively, as though it had always been within her. “Everyone has the right to love. Only, Tara, what we have isn’t just love. I love you with all my soul. That isn’t something that gets handed out on a daily basis, and I’m guessing that the scales had to be evened out a bit. We went through hell, and now we’re in heaven. You are my destiny, my gift, my everything.”

Tara smiled as she turned, wondering how her lover always knew exactly what to say. This time, though, she knew her line perfectly, for her heart murmured it with every beat.

“You, my Willow, are mine also.”

Oh right. Silly Gem. *Hits herself several times over the head*.

Awwww, thank you LadyCallie. I did actually have another part to post, but I think I might give this one it's fair run first as it doesn't seem that many people have read it. Unless, of course, you want me to post the next part before I go to school? It won't get posted until tomorrow otherwise... *evil chuckle*
