god dammit! i hate my computer! i had both your replys all written and then it messes up and delates everything!! *Screams loudly*



Karen: i had a long reply but then it craped up...so i'm making it short because if it messes up again after i wrote a long thing, i would be supreamly pissed. now, i have a update for you...its a very tiny one, a preview, if you will, because i'm still going to write more of it...its really short, like 1 1/3 pages on word, but it'll have to hold you until i finish it...i planned to finish it yesterday, but was somehow made to help a friend babysit 15 kids for a karate sleepover...which also leads me to the desicion to never have kids ever...



Faye: its rude to poke people...*kicks you*





so w/out any further ado...here ya go...oh and to let you guys know, i think this is really bad so far, and i'm not too pleased with it, but i dont want anyone to get dominatrixy on me...so i'm sorry in advance, it will be better eventually!





Chapter 18: The Bird Show



“What time is it?” Buffy asked Xander as the group wandered around aimlessly, pondering what they should do next.



Xander glanced at his watch, “It’s about 3:50.”



“Oh! Oh! We could go to the bird show! When me and Buffy were going to the games we saw a sign that said there was a show on at four!” Dawn perked up.



“What happened to ‘no, shows are so stupid’?” Willow raised and eyebrow.



Buffy gave an indignant snort at the comment, “Will, it’s not the same thing at all.”



“And what, may I ask, is the difference?” Willow challenged.



“This one has live entertainment! With actual living creatures! So really it’s not like a show…more like a…display.” Buffy answered, puffing out her chest.

Anya shook her head, “Whatever, lets just go before we’re late! I don’t want to miss any of the action.”



“Action?” Xander asked, skeptical. "It's just a bird show."



Anya rolled her eyes, “Oh come on Xander, you can’t be serious. Large birds flying over people…mouths open in shock that a big, humongous bird is flying over their useless heads…birds just itching to relieve themselves from all their nuts and berries. You do the math Harris.”



He thought for a second, before his eyes widened, “Oooooh!” He grimaced, “Eeeewww.”



“See! Now you know why we can’t miss any of this! Let’s go!” She grabbed the two nearest arms, which belonged to Xander and Tara, and began pulling them along with her.



Everyone laughed at Anya and trudged along behind here, heading towards the Bird Show.

On a normal day the rows of seats would have been mostly occupied, but this particular day there were only 16 people there, scattered around to different points. The group made their way to the middle of the front two rows and seated themselves.



“Best seats! Yes!” Dawn said, her face scrunching up into a grin.



Buffy looked around them, noticing how empty it was, “Not many people here today…”



“Yeah, lucky us.” Dawn said.



“Oh! Maybe if we’re really lucky they’ll pick one of us to come up there and help them! They’re always doing cool stuff like that.” Willow said, ecstatic, hoping she was able to go up.



“Yeah. Maybe.” Tara said, smiling slightly.



A woman with a microphone earpiece stepped onto stage and everyone became silent.



She began with the normal rules and precautions. “…And also, throughout the demonstration many birds will be flying over your heads. Please, if you do not wish to have a second lunch, do not look up with your mouth open.” Everyone laughed, save Anya, who was looking furiously at the lady for warning the people. She glowered, crossed her arms in a venoms fashion and leaned back, looking at the woman with a cross between anger and plotting a painful revenge.

hopefully i'll get the rest of this chapter and maybe another one before i go to horseback riding camp this sunday...and i'm going to try to get you guys a really good chapter on firday cause its my birthday! and karen and faye...i do not want any birthday spankings...
