Child's Play

Postby AznCrash89 » Sun Oct 17, 2004 9:39 pm

To be honest I have no clue what I'm doing here since I only posted once but that was just to introduce myself. So I'm just gonna take a deep breath and push the enter button and hide under my bed.

~Child's Play~

BY: AznCrash89

Disclaimers: I don't own anything just burrowing them from Joss Whedon for a little trip to a wacky world that is my mind.

Rating: PG or PG-13 because they are little itty bitty kids. Even when they do grow older and start um *cough* intimate *cough* relationships. I'm not going to do smut. Plus what would a 15 year old virgin know about sex anyways? hehe

Pairings:W/T and the others haven't been decided yet

Note: I really haven't picked out a title yet and "Child's Play" kept comming up. No worries Chuckie won't be popping up in the story. Or will he?

Note2: Uh I just thought it would be cute to have a little kids running around wrecking havoc and just worry about little things. Oh yeah it takes place in the present year 2004 four because I'm gonna use alot of reference from this year. (I got bad memory can't tell which started in what year)

Summary: Read Read Read!!!

The cool night was silent except for the sounds of other cars passing by. The blonde looked to her right and gazed at her eleven year old daughter who was asleep peacefully in the passenger seat of the beat up pale blue 1967 Ford F-100 Ranger Pick Up Truck. She quickly turned back torwards the road and smiled at the sight of a sign welcoming her to Garden City, Kansas. It wasn't where she wanted to stop but she needed her rest for another day of traveling and was worried about her little angel. The mother didn't want her daughter to wake up with sore back and aching neck. She quickly found a motel and parked it to pay for a place for the night before carrying her sleeping daughter to the room.

Helene MaClay gently laid her daughter the bed to sleep when her daughter called out, "Mommy?"

Helene gazed at the sleepy blue eyes with a smile, "Honey, we are going to stay here for the night then we will continue our little road trip okay sweetie?"

"Kay" the little girl replied before snuggling into the warm bed and quickly went to sleep.

Helen ran her finger threw her daughters soft hair and kissed her on the forehead, "Good night my little Tara."

Willow Rosenberg could only clutch to her Harry Potter book when she watched both her parents, Ira and Sheila Rosenberg, packed for a couple months away in Europe. It wasn't the first time they had left Willow for more than a week but they hadn't gone off far away for work or vacation for about three years. Somehow Willow wasn't feeling very scared at the thought of her parents heading off again. She turned to her dark haird 'sister' who was reading the latest installment of "Captain Underpants" and smiled. I'm not going to be alone this time.

Faith Wilkins felt eyes upon her and looked up to see her adoptive sister staring at her. Faith flashed Willow a dimple filled smile before patting at the empty space next to her. The redhead quickly scrambled torwards her bestest friend, excluding Xander and Jesse of course, and sat down.

"Hey Red." Faith greeted placing her "Captain Underpants" book down.

Willow smiled, "Hiya Fay! Aren't you excited about tomorrow?"

"Of course! No adults for three months! Can ya believe that?" Faith replied cheerfully.

Willow frowned at Faith, "No silly, tomorrow school starts!"

"Oh." Faith's happy mood changed as her shoulders slumped, "I forgot."

Ever since Sheila Rosenberg brought home Faith from Boston as her latest project Faith has constantly gotten in trouble in school. From fighting Larry and the other bullies to defending Willow from Cordelia and her band of harpies, she had spend most of her time after school in detention while Willow sat in the school library learning. With the pranks her, Xander, and Jesse pulled off she was on the verge of getting kicked out of school. Sheila didn't help much for she was to busy writing her book "Dealing with Troubled Adolescence".

Faith hated school. It was boring most of the time and everytime she would try to make class intresting she would get in trouble and Willow would give her this disappointing face that always made her sad. The only reason why she wasn't kicked out so far was because Willow loved school. Willow was very important to Faith because of the bonding the redhead and Faith shared the first year Faith came to Boston. It wasn't as easy as first since Faith was a very hot tempered rebellous little kid. Still is in fact.

"It's gonna be great with Jesse coming back from vacation cause we'll all be hanging out on the playground. We can play castle with Jesse as the King, Xander the joker, me the sorceress and you as a knight and we will be going out on adventures on a camel because horsies are evil and we could travel the world getting rid of nasty funny looking frogs and Cordelia look alikes and and....." Faith quickly covered Willow's mouth.

"Jeez Will do you breath at all?" Faith questions with a grin.

Willow looked at Faith confused, "Of course I breath, if I didn't then I wouldn't be considered human and then that would make me unhuman and a alien who would green skin like frogs. Eepp! I don't have green skin or big eyes with no eyelids and three fingers and have no cloths! See I have cloths with a picture of Hermione and she's human except she's a witch and thats cool except she's not really real but that would be really cool if she was and...." Willow stopped and notice that Faith had ignored her and went back to book flipping pages back and forth to see the flip-o-rama in action.

"Faith!"

Argh my computer is on strike or something because it keeps freezing up before I can fix with whatever is wrong. So what ever I had on my computer is lost so I have to use my brothers. I wrote it really quickly and tried to remember what I wrote before so if it stinks sorry. Right now I'm just trying to get into the story by filling you in with some details. Hope you like it.

Willow carefully brushed her teeth making sure she didn't miss any spot. When she was done she spat out the foamy left over tooth paste and rinsed her mouth out with water. With her teeth pearly white and her mouth feeling refreshing Willow walked to Faith's room to kiss her goodnight.

Tell me, can this be real?

How do I put into words how I feel?

My life was complete

I thought I was whole

Why do I feel like I'm losing control

Never thought that love could feel like this

and you changed my world with just one kiss

How can it be that your right here with me

There's an angel?

It's a miracle....

Willow could only giggle as the ten year old Faith was wiggling her hips as she sang to a hair brush an old N'SYNC song. Faith quickly turned to the door and watched wide eyes as Willow continue to giggle at the brunette.

"Willow!" Faith scowled, "Not a word leaks out to Jesse or Xander got it?"

"Yes, ma'am!" Willow mockingly saluted before bursting into giggles once more, "Your such a dork Faith."

Faith smiled and shrugged, "Yes, but I'm your favorite dork."

"Of course!" Willow exclaimed before kissing Faith on the forehead, "Now go to sleep."

"Alright alright don't start getting pushy Red." Willow closed the door to Faith's room and walked to her room with the faint sound of Faith singing the chorus of "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time On You."

Helen woke up in fear when she didn't feel the warmth of her daughter next to her. She quickly relaxed when she spotted her daughter sitting in a chair nearby combing her wet hair.

"Did you just shower sweetie?"

Tara stopped combing and nodded, "Uh huh but I took a hot one so the bathroom is still foggy."

"Okay sweetie." Helen got up from the bed and gently kissed Tara on the forehead before taking the brush from Tara to finish combing Tara's hair softly.

The two blonde sat in perfect silence as Helen brushed Tara's golden locks. Tara closed her eyes as she began relax. Helen combed Tara's hair until it was smooth and dry before heading to the bathroom. Tara went through one of the duffle bags they carried to the hotel and pulled out a book on greek gods and quickly got into the story of Atalanta.

And mama told me if I want her. I gotta take it slow

You can't just tell her, you gotta find other ways to let her know

But I don't understand this game

This is so new to me

I wanna tell her

I wanna take her in my arms

Give her time and maybe one day she'll come around

and see the love I'm offering

Cause I don't wanna live without the girl

Heaven knows everyday I pray

That someday she will belong to me

Cause I dont wanna live without the girl

Faith listened to Daniel Beddingfield as she frantically tried to scrape the burnt part of the toast before Willow came downstairs. Faith that morning tried to do something special for Willow by making breakfast on the first day of school but was currently failling the task. The eggs she needed were not in the refridgerator, the bread she left in the toaster was burnt, and she spilled the orange juice when the was frying the beacon. That was the only thing that came out right but she couldn't find it under all the mess. To say Faith was piss was an understatement. So when Willow finally came downstairs dressed up and ready Faith was almost in tears with frustration.

"Woah Hurricane Faith strikes again!" Willow kidded.

The glass cup in Faith's hand shattered from the pressure, "Faith!" Willow cried out worried.

Faith angrily wiped away the falling tears only to smear the blood from the cuts on her hands to her cheek, "I'm sorry Will."

"Aww Faith what happened?" Willow asked as she fetch a paper towel and slightly wet it before cleaning Faith's cuts.

"I wanted to make breakfast for you but I'm so stupid and everything just messed up." Faith wanted to clench her fists but Willow's hand stopped her.

"Thank you Faith." Willow replied as she began bandage Faith's wounds, "Don't cry please?"

Faith backed away, "I'm not crying!" even when she said it fresh tears fell.

"I'm happy you made me breakfast."

Faith frowned, "But I ruined it."

"So, the fact that you tried makes me all giddy inside."

"So you don't think I'm useless?" Faith questioned unsure.

"Of course not! I happen to think your a swell singer." Willow answered smiling wide.

Faith wanted to scowl but Willow decided to hug her and all Faith could do was sigh as she sank into the warm embrace, "Everything good now?"

"Five by Five." Faith answered.

"What the heck does that mean anyways?"

"Momma?"

"Yeah sweetie?"

"Where are we going?" Tara asked curious.

Helen paused, "We are going to California."

It took a few seconds for Tara to process the thought, "Why did we leave Donny and Daddy?"

"Daddy needs times for himself right now so me and your dad decided that You and me would go live with an old friend of mine for awhile. I was going to take Donny with me but I don't think I should take both of you guys away from daddy right now." Helen explained.

"Okay." Tara wanted to know more but she knew that her momma didn't want to talk about so she let it drop, "Momma?"

"Yes, sweeties?"

"Who's your friend we are going to stay with?"

Miss Calender sighed as she graded the computer program. It wasn't bad at all, it just lacked creativity. She hadn't known when she got into the work she was doing but Miss Calender was happy that she choose this occupation for money while she tried to find the souled vampire. Being a teacher wasn't all the bad except for a few rude students. All she needed was a gifted student to grace her class and she'll be set.

Miss Calender switched programs and began working on a new warding spell when her mind wondered. It had been a few days since her old friend Helen called and she was a bit worried. Jennifer Calender and Helen MaClay knew each other from high scool. Jennifer had been a senior that year and Helen had been a freshmen. Jennifer had only met Helen because her best friend Donald Stone,a sophmore, had a major crush on her.

Donald had a stuttering problem and didn't have enough confidence so it was her job to get to know Helen. In the end by the time she graduated they were in a serious relationship. The fact that thay all had an intrest in magic bonded the trio. She was a techno pagan, Helen was into some serious wiccan magic, and Donald had been into necromencing, a very powerful and dangerous dark arts.

She had hoped Helen would be a good influence on Don but it was to late and a magical accident caused Donald's parents to die. He had sworn off all magic and began to hate that Helen continued to use her earth based magic. He had respected his girlfriend and never pushed her to stop until they got married. He believed that all magic was evil and wanted Helen to stop her use in magic. He had stopped talking to Jennifer long ago but wouldn't leave Helen because he loved her to much.

The constant arguements began a year after Donald Jr was born. There was constant yelling and arguements in the house that most familys avoided the MaClays. Donald however never laid a finger on his wife at least until he found out his wife began to teach the wiccan way to his daughter Tara named after his own mother. When Jennifer found out she offered her friend and her goddaughter a place to stay for Donald to cool off. Jennifer's thoughts was interupted when students began to file in one by one.
