Notes- I hope this part will be a lot more upbeat than the last one but I’m sure I will have a little bit of angst in there…and don’t forget the cliffhangers! Oh and there is some jokes made about the about the British, I am British so I don’t mean any offence I just wanted it to be funny so don’t take offence and kill me please

Also, this is whole story is dedicated to Ellie because she keeps me strong like an amazon and also because we have this whole dedicating thing going on. Lol
Tara was in deep thought. She was lying on her stomach in the dorm room she shared with Willow; thinking about everything other than the Greek Art book she had opened in front of her. Willow was sitting closely behind her, typing rapidly on her laptop. Tara was looking worriedly at the clock, dreading the arrival of seven. She was going to Giles’ house to have a meal with Buffy, Riley, Xander and Anya and then attend one of their Scooby meetings.
She had been in Sunnydale with Willow for three weeks but still hadn’t spent time with all the scoobies at once. It was hard enough to adapt to living in a dorm and going to college, let alone dealing with demons and the undead. She smiled as she remembered the past few weeks, she had never been happier. She enjoyed all her classes, though it was hard to keep up at times. But, the best thing of all was that she was with Willow. Completely alone with her in their own little world. They didn’t have to hide their relationship to anyone, even though some looks of disgust were thrown their way, they were both too overwhelmed by their love for one another to care. Also, Willow wasn’t keeping any secrets anymore. Tara felt that she had been completed, Willow had filled an enormous gap in her life.
Tara’s smile as she thought about her wonderful girlfriend faded as she remembered the much-dreaded meeting tonight. Willow stopped typing and looked up to see that Tara hadn’t turned the page in the past ten minutes. Willow could tell Tara was anxious about being surrounded by all her friends. It was understandable since Tara was painfully shy and insecure. Willow had asked Tara if she wanted to give it a miss but she insisted that she was fine with going. Willow was sure that Tara would be fine, her friends don’t bite; unless they were cursed with a soul and ended up boinking her best friend.
“Tara baby?” Tara turned to smile at her girlfriend, “Are you okay?” Willow lifted the laptop from her lap and placed it on her bedside table. Tara closed her book and sat up to face her lover.
“Yeah I’m fine, j-just a little, you know, worried.” Tara answered.
Willow leaned forward and placed her hand on Tara’s knee. “Baby, there is nothing to worry about, I promise. It will be fine.”
“I just…” Tara started then hung her head, “Nothing.”
Willow looked at Tara concerned and moved closer. She put her hand under the blonde’s chin and lifted her head up to meet Tara’s eyes, “Tara tell me. You don’t have to hide anything from me. Hiding things is bad, believe me, I know!” Willow said.
Tara smiled at the affection she saw in Willow’s eyes, “It’s just, I always w-wonder why you like me. I’m such a dork. I don’t think your friends will like me and they m-might tell you what a waste of time I am and then you m-might not want to be with me anymore…” Tara had began to tear up.
Willow placed a finger over Tara’s lips to silence her. She was looking at Tara in utter disbelief. How could someone as amazing as Tara think that Willow was too good to be with her? When Tara started to cry more, Willow hugged her tightly and stroked her long blonde hair. “Shhh. Tara, that could be the most stupid thing I have ever heard. Well that and Xander trying to recite Shakespeare.” Tara chuckled at that and pulled back from Willow’s embrace and began to dry her eyes. “Tara, I love you so much. Even if my friends did hate you, which they wont, they could all go to hell. Angel’s been there so I’m sure he could fill them in on the where the best lava beds are.” Tara giggled at Willow’s joke and looked at her through tear filled eyes, “Seriously though Tara. Nothing, I mean nothing, could come between us! I don’t ever want to loose you, and if I do, then I will spend my whole life searching for you.”
Tara’s bottom lip trembled from Willow’s words until she exploded into happy sobs and threw herself into Willow’s arms, “Oh no, sweetie, I didn’t mean to make you cry again.” Soon Willow was also in floods of tears, “See, you got me crying too.”
When their sobs finally subsided, the both pulled apart and dried their blurry eyes, “Well this is no good,” Willow said, “we can’t go to Giles’ with puffy eyes!” Tara smiled and leaned forward and kissed Willow gently just as their kiss was becoming more passionate, Tara pulled back and turned to look at the clock.
“Oh oh, we have an hour to get ready, I better go get showered.”
Willow did her best puppy dog look, “But I want more Tara kissage!”
“Sorry, need to shower baby.” Tara walked over and picked up her towel, much to the disappointment of Willow who sat pouting on her bed. Tara walked into the bathroom and took off her top and threw it at Willow, “You coming in here anytime soon?” she asked. Willow grinned wickedly and literally jumped off her bed to join her blonde goddess for a little shower time.

Buffy looked at the creature below her. It was the most disgusting thing she had ever seen, and that was saying a lot for her, “Giles, what is it? What am I supposed to do with it?” Buffy asked desperately.
“Buffy, its toad in the hole, your supposed to eat it.”
“What the hell is toad in the hole?” Buffy asked in horror.
“Well, since we always eat at my house and I get left with the cleaning, I thought for once we could eat something I actually like.”
“But, toads! I mean I know you British can be strange, with the royal family and all that…”
“Buffy,” Giles interrupted, “It’s not real toads, its sausages.”
“Oh…good!!”
Giles shook his head and continued cooking. Buffy was about to question Giles culinary skills further when she heard a knock at the door. “I’ll get that Mr.Giles.” Riley said from the living room.
Riley opened the door to Xander and an unamused Anya, “Hey, I come bearing bread.”
Riley laughed then took the bread through to Giles. “Hey Xand.” Buffy said then went to hug her friend, she then stood awkwardly and said, “Anya.”
Anya just rolled her eyes and went to watch TV. “Need any help guys?” Xander asked.
“No thank you Xander.” Giles answered politely.
“He’s getting pissed cos I keep interrupting his, urm, well I suppose you can call it cooking.” Buffy said. Giles glared at her and she moved into the living room to talk to Riley and Xander.
“So is Wills coming?” Xander asked.
“I’m not sure. She said that she was going to bring Tara, but I think Tara might be a little intimidated.”
“She has nothing to worry about.” Riley added.
“I know, but you know how shy she is.”
“Don’t worry I’m sure Willow will find some way to convince her.” Xander said then wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
Buffy hit Xander on his arm, “Xander!”
Xander laughed then his face fell when he realised he was in pain, “Okay ow!”

“Are you sure this is okay?” Tara asked Willow for the millionth time.
“Tara you look fine!” Willow answered. They were walking to Giles house and Willow took Tara's hand to give her some support.
“I just, I don’t want them to hate me.”
“Tara, they couldn’t possibly hate you, just be yourself.” Willow smiled in reassurance.
Before she knew it, Tara was standing outside Giles’ door. She felt a wave of fear wash over her. She gulped audibly and Willow turned to her worried girlfriend and ran her hand down her cheek, “You’ll be fine, ready?”
“Y-y-yeah.” Tara stuttered out.
“Okay.” Willow knocked on the door and was greeted by Riley.
“Hey Riley.”
“Hey Willow, Tara.” Tara smiled in reply and Riley stepped back to let them enter.
“Willow!” Xander said happily, then walked over to hug his friend. Tara stood awkwardly behind them with her arms folded across her chest. Xander stepped back from Willow and raised his hand at Tara. “Tara, hey!”
“H-hey.”
They all stood awkwardly for a moment before Giles came in with his much anticipated meal. “Dinner’s ready.”
“Cool.” Buffy said then claimed a seat next to Riley. Xander and Anya sat next to them and Willow and Tara sat opposite. They all wore the same look of disgust when Giles placed their meal in front of them.
“What the hell is that?” Anya asked.
Giles sighed loudly then sat down, “It’s toad in the hole.”
“YEEEEEEEP!” Willow squealed then jumped up from her seat, giving Tara the fright of her life.
“It’s not real toads Willow!” Giles said exhausted.
“Oh,” Willow sat down, “I knew that.” Willow turned to see the confused expression on Tara's face. “I…I…I have frog fear.” Willow admitted then hung her head. Tara smiled at her adorable girlfriend.

Apart from the little outburst from Willow, the rest of the evening was perfect. Everyone got on well and took interest in what Tara had to say. Tara had never felt so welcome by a group of people in her life, “That was a delicious meal Mr.Giles.” said Tara politely.
“Thank you Tara.” Giles smiled.
“Yeah, for something that sounds so gross, it was actually quite nice.” Buffy added.
“Do you want us to stay and help you clean up?” Willow asked, hoping Giles would say no.
“No that’s fine Willow, thank you.” Willow and Tara stood up to leave, “Tara, thank you for coming.” Giles said.
“Thank you for inviting me Mr.Giles, it was really fun.”
“Bye guys.” Xander said.
“Bye.” Tara said, then followed Willow out the house.
When they were out, Willow took Tara’s hand and began to walk home, “See that wasn’t so bad.”
“No, they were really nice.”
“See you had nothing to worry about!” Willow answered.
“So Willow, frog fear huh?” Tara asked with a smirk on her face.
“Don’t say anything!” Willow said in mock anger.

“It’s not every day we get out of Scooby meetings, you’re special.” Willow said as they entered their dorm room.
“No, I’m not the special one, you are.”
Willow dumped her keys then walked over to Tara and wrapped her arms round her waist. “Tara, you are the most special person I have ever met.”
Tara smiled then leaned forward to kiss Willow. She placed light, teasing kisses on her lips and licked her top lick seductively. Willow moaned when Tara pulled back and was about to pout when Tara began kissing Willow’s neck and gently under Willow’s top. Willow gasped at the contact and felt her knees begin to give way.
Tara spoke through kisses, “Maybe we should move this to the bed?” She didn’t wait an answer, but began to move Willow onto the bed. She lay on top of Willow and ran her hand through her copper hair and stared into her emerald eyes.
Willow looked back confused, “What?”
“Nothing, I just…thank you.”
“I didn’t do anything.”
“No you did, you made my life so much better, you gave me hope. Thank you.”
“I have more to thank you for Tara…” Willow began but was interrupted when she felt Tara’s demanding mouth on hers, all talk could be left for later.
