Summary- This is set in an alternate universe where Willow ended up moving away and meeting Tara. Now Tara has moved to Sunnydale with Willow.
Notes- I have a vague idea of where I am going with this story, but it may suck. I’m just going to see where it goes and hope for the best lol. Also finding it hard to update quickly because of mountains of Phsyc and English coursework. Thoughts are in << >>
After giving each other more than a few happies – Willow and Tara lay in bed, enjoying their familiar snuggle routine. It was ten-thirty and they half listened to students milling around outside, since it was a Saturday, they didn’t have to go to class. Tara sighed contented, but she could sense Willow was still tense after what had happened the day before.
“You okay baby?” Tara whispered to the red head.
“Hmm, yeah I’m fine.” Willow answered distractedly.
“What’s the matter?” Tara asked worriedly.
“I just…I feel bad for doubting you.” Willow sat up to look at Tara, “I shouldn’t have been so stupid.”
Tara placed her hand on the girl’s back to comfort her, “Willow its okay really. You were just worried; I get worried too when some girl eyes you up. But, we can trust each other now okay. We can tell each other anything.”
Willow smiled then kissed her girlfriend softly. Willow was going to pull back when Tara used her hand on the redhead’s back to pull Willow closer. Their mouths opened and the kiss became more passionate. Willow ran her hand up the blonde’s arms and entwined her fingers with Tara’s. Tara moved so that she was positioned on top of Willow. Willow moaned when she felt Tara’s firm thigh between her legs. Tara began kissing her way down the red head when the phone rang.
Willow moaned irritated, “Why is this always happening to me!?”
Tara didn’t stop what she was doing, “Let it ring!”
Willow agreed but when the phone didn’t stop ringing she said through gasps, “Tara….not that I want you to stop….but…maybe…..Buffy….demons….danger….”
Tara groaned and reached over to answer the phone, “Hello?”
“Hey Tara? It’s Sam.”
Tara sat up on her knees, much to the disappointment of Willow.
“Oh hey.”
“Hey, I was just phoning to see if you still wanted to come over today…and talk….you know about the thing?”
“Oh…well could I meet you tonight?”
“Sure.”
“Okay I’ll see you then, bye.”
“Bye Tara.”
Tara hung up the phone then smiled at the flushed and annoyed red head beneath her.
“Who was that?”
“That was um, one of my friends from my Greek Art class, he needs some help tonight because he missed some work.”
“What? But your helping Xander today too and since I wasn’t going to see you most the day, I was going to take you out for dinner tonight!” Willow said hopelessly.
Tara smiled then kissed her lover on the forehead, “Well we can get something after I get back from Xander’s, I’ll be back about five.”
“But I wanted it to be all romantic and stuff. Hey, maybe we can go for a picnic!”
“Um, it’s raining sweetie.”
“Damn, oh wait! I have an idea! Meet me here after you get back from helping Xander, okay?
“Okay, I promise this wont happen again sweetie!”
Tara started moving her hands up Willows ribcage, “Hmmm well, I guess you can be forgiven this one time.” Willow gasped when Tara’s hands reached their destination, “On seconds thought Tara…maybe you should make it up to me!” Those where the last coherent words that left Willow’s mouth for the next two hours.

Tara was brushing her long blonde hair whilst Willow smiled adoringly at her. Tara saw Willow watching her in the mirror and turned to face her.
“What you looking at?” she said jokingly.
“Its no big, just the most beautiful woman in the world.”
“Wow, that’s exactly what I’m looking at.”
Willow blushed and Tara grabbed her boots and pulled them on.
“So what time do you think you’ll be back from Xander’s?” Willow asked.
“About five. You sure you don’t want to come with me?” Tara asked with a hopeful smile.
“I can’t I have things to do! Buffy will be there so you won’t be lumbered with Xander and Anya’s meaningful conversations!” Willow said sarcastically.
“What exactly am I helping with again?”
“Xander got one of those new energy bars in and he’s trying to sell them off. He figures if he actually advertises this time that it might go better. Basically he needs someone who can actually draw to help him make some posters and stuff. I kinda told him bout your arty-ness.”
Tara looked at her girlfriend in mock anger, “Thanks for that.”
Tara stood to pull on her jacket; Willow got up to button it for her. Tara was touched by Willow’s action, so simple, but so full of love. “Well it will give you a chance to get to know the gang. I don’t want them to see you as my girlfriend. I want them to see you, and know WHY you’re my girlfriend.”
Tara smiled then kissed Willow briefly, “You always get out of trouble!” she laughed.

Willow triple checked that everything was perfect. << Why am I so nervous, Tara would love anything I organised for her! But, I want this to be extra special. >> Willow was trying various ways to sit when she heard a click from the door signifying that Tara was about to come in. Willow felt her heart race at a million miles an hour. Tara came in looking weary; she closed the door behind her then turned round and stood opened mouthed in awe.
Willow had hung fairy lights from the roof. Rose petals were scattered round a picnic blanket where a picnic basket lay with a bottle of champagne and two glasses. But the best thing about all of this, was Willow who was wearing a knee length red dress and looking more gorgeous than Tara thought possible.
Tara dropped her bag on the floor then opened and closed her mouth several times, trying to regain the power of speech. Willow smiled at Tara’s reaction then slowly walked over to Tara. She ran her hands through her blonde hair and kissed her lovingly. The kiss took Tara’s breath away, “Wow.”
“Do you like?” Willow asked whilst moving her hands down to rest on Tara’s hips.
“Willow, I more than like. This is, wow, thank you so much.”
“Well I wanted to give you a real picnic under the stars.”
“This is just as good, better even. I love you so much.” Tara said.
“I love you too.”
They stood for a while simply staring into each other’s eyes until Tara’s growling stomach broke the silence, “Hmm, guess I am hungrier than I thought.” Tara blushed.
Willow laughed, “Let’s eat then, that’s what people usually do on picnics right?” she joked.

After a delicious meal, and an even better desert that consisted of exotic fruit, which they fed to one another seductively, Willow and Tara were in full raging hormone mode. Willow was sitting on Tara’s lap with her arms wrapped round the blonde’s neck, kissing her with undisguised hunger.
Tara pushed everything off the picnic blanket and lay Willow down on it. Willow moaned as Tara bit and sucked on her neck and moved up to her jaw and finally to her eager lips again. Tara ran her hand up Willow’s leg, gently stroking the back of her silky thigh. She had started to move it under her skirt when they were by the reminder alarm on Tara’s mobile.
“God damn!” Willow shouted, “De ja vu sucks!!”
Tara pulled her bag over and took out her phone that was flashing “Meet Sam” she was ten minutes late. She had set the reminder just incase things got a little heated with Willow and she got caught up in the moment, “I’m sorry baby. I really don’t want to but I have to go now.”
“Nooo! Do you know how frustrating this is! Frustration is never a good thing, it leads to one pissed off Willow!” Willow said.
Tara smiled at her hormonally charged girlfriend, “I know, I hate it too, but I have to go. I’ll be back as soon as I can.” Tara got up and grabbed her bag. Willow sat up as Tara stepped halfway out the door, “I love you, remember that.”
Willow smiled, “I love you too.”
Tara left the dorm and Willow let out a big sigh and began to clear up.

Willow brushed her teeth whilst the song Macho Man was stuck in her head. She was very chirpy, despite being extremely sexually frustrated! Things with Tara were sorted now, even though she still hated herself for doubting Tara in the first place. It was hard for her though, since Oz she had been paranoid about being hurt and couldn’t fathom why someone like Tara would ever want to be with Willow.
Willow finished brushing her teeth and stepped out of the bathroom. She made her way across the hall and was halfway through her door when she heard a familiar voice. She turned her head and saw Tara at the end of the hall…hugging Sam. << Ok no paranoia…could have bumped into her in the hall! >> Despite herself, Willow listened into the conversation.
“Thanks for tonight.” Tara said.
“Anytime.” Sam said before walking away.
Willow quickly ran into the dorm and shut the door before Tara could notice her. Willow had just jumped under the covers and put her innocent face on when Tara entered, “Hey sweetie.” Tara said.
“Hey.” Willow said.
Tara began to undress and change into her pyjamas. Willow’s brain was hurting << I should trust Tara, but why was she at Sam’s tonight? Why didn’t she tell me she was going to see her? >>
Tara crawled under the covers and nested her head in Willow’s chest, “Hmmm, I missed you.”
“How was study session?” Willow asked.
“It was okay he um, knew most of the stuff so I only need to um, help him once more again tomorrow night.” Tara answered guiltily.
“I’m loosing you again huh?” Willow asked, but held a different meaning to what she was saying.
“Just one more night.” Tara said then kissed Willow on the cheek and drifted off to sleep.
