Spoilers: I guess anything up to season 5, nothing too much though but hints of episodes may inserted into the pilot.

Paring: W/T, And well the rest of the gang are in here to.

Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the “Buffy” characters, I did however create some new one’s for this story, but its dealing with Buffy so that’s Joss’s territory not mine.

Rating: I’d guess PG-13 to be on the safe side

Summary: Tally (New Character) comes from the Future to help in the past, will she be able to make things right? And how will she fit into the group afterwards?



Setting: 20-year-old girl (Tally ~ around 5’3, athletic build, mid-length brown hair) is running down a street in Sunnydale, group of men can be seen chasing her in military type outfits. Finally she stops and starts to mumble a spell.



TALLY: Let me help the one’s I love portal open, open, open (chanting)

A portal open’s in front of her

TALLY: (Goes through the portal)

Portal closes about that time the group of men comes to it

JENKINGS: Sir we have to find her

COMMANDER: Don’t worry we’ll take care of her and her friends (smiles) all in good time

Cuts to same spot in the street, Tally is laying on the ground, her nose is bleeding.

TALLY: (Stands up) (looks around) Man (wipes her nose) (starts to walk down street, she runs into dawn and knocks her down)

DAWN: Geezer’s don’t you watch where your going

TALLY: Dawn I’m so sorry (Helps dawn up)

DAWN: How did you know my name

Dawn luckily was wearing one of those shirts with the name on it

TALLY: (Grins) it’s on your shirt

DAWN: (Embarrassed) Oh (Picking up books)

TALLY: I’m really sorry

DAWN: Don’t worry about it I’m kind of clumsy sometimes to

TALLY: Yeah (Looks at her books) Chemistry huh that’s a fun class

DAWN: Oh yeah so fun I’m flunking it

TALLY: Oh you’ll do fine (stops her self)

DAWN: (looking at tally a little strange)

TALLY: I mean if you study you’ll get it everyone always gets it the more they study

DAWN: Thanks (Smiles) I should get going I’ve got to study (grins)

TALLY: Ok good luck with the studying

Group of girls comes their way

DAWN: Great (discussed) just what I need

TALLY: Not to nice are they

DAWN: That’s putting it for lack of a better word nicely the one in the middle gives me fits all the time

Group walks up to Tally and Dawn

BETH: Well if it isn’t the cutter and her new friend

AMY: You must be new around here to be hanging with this

RAY: Yeah she’ll have you cutting your self to if your not careful

DAWN: (up set) that happen one time and it wasn’t like that

BETH: Whatever so what’s your name (Looks at tally)

TALLY: Tally

AMY: Well Tally why don’t you come hang with us and leave the loser alone

TALLY: (Looks at Dawn) sounds good

DAWN: (Disappointed thinking she’d found a friend)

TALLY: Come on dawn lets leave the losers alone

DAWN: (Laughing) Sure

BETH: Well I never

Tally and Dawn walk away from the girls who are stunned that someone stood up to them

DAWN: That was awesome

TALLY: (Grins) Well they did set their self up for that one

DAWN: (See’s the Magic Shop) This is my stop

TALLY: Oh ok

DAWN: Want to come in

TALLY: Sure

Pans over to a bench where a man is sitting reading a paper

JOHNSON: (Talks into watch, has ear piece in his ear) yes sir I’ve spotted her, do you want me to take her out, but sir, yes sir Johnson out.

Pan into the magic box where Willow, and Tara, are seated doing homework, Anya is at the cash register ringing someone up Xander is helping Giles put up stock stuff, Giles is also dusting. Buffy is in the back training. Dawn and Tally walk into the store

XANDER: Hey look it’s the Dawn mister and someone else

Tally and Dawn walk to the table where Willow and Tara are at

DAWN: Hey guys this is Tally (Sits books down)

Willow: Hi I’m Willow and this is Tara

TARA: Hi

TALLY: (Smiles)

XANDER: I’m Xander and that’s Anya

ANYA: (runs over) I heard my name is their money involved

TALLY: Nope sorry but their may be some if you dust everything

ANYA: Really I thought that was just something old bored people do

TALLY: No they just want you to think that

ANYA: OH (amazed) (runs to Giles) can I dust

GILES: (little shocked) I guess

ANYA: (Takes duster from Giles and starts to go around store and dust)

WILLOW: Wow we found a way to get Anya to work (Smiles)

DAWN: How’d you know she’d do that

TALLY: (Tries to think) Just seams like that type

TARA: You must be a really good character judger

TALLY: Yeah

GILES: So dawn how’d you two meet

DAWN: We ran into each other

TALLY: Literally ran into each other

DAWN: (aside to tally) that’s Giles he’s always full of questions

TARA: So do you go to school with Dawn

TALLY: No

TARA: (little surprised) What

TALLY: I mean I haven’t gotten registered yet; (Thinks) my family’s new here

WILLOW: Well what brings you to Sunnydale

TALLY: Well (Stops) you know I should probably get going

DAWN: You must have some stuff to unpack

TALLY: (Thinks) yeah I do

Tally walks to door Dawn follow her.

DAWN: I guess I’ll see you at school Monday

TALLY: I guess so (looks to group) it was nice meeting all of you

DAWN: See you

Tally walks out the door and closes it

TALLY: See me Monday, so today must be Friday, (Looks around and see’s man walking towards store) Excuse me sir what’s the date

MAN: Oh it’s October 26th

TALLY: 2001

MAN: Yeah (Little surprised by the question)

TALLY: Thank you

Man walks off

TALLY: Two days to fix everything (Walks off)

Johnson follows Tally

Cuts to Willow and Tara’s dorm room where Tara is reading a book laying on the bed.

WILLOW: (at the desk working with lap top) you know its good Dawnie is making new friends

TARA: Uh huh (Starts to read again, very wrapped up in book)

WILLOW: (Notices Tara isn’t really paying attention) And you know she’ll probably do well since she’s got that new dolphin for a pet

TARA: Sure will

WILLOW: (Playfully) And the water house for it (Walks and stands over Tara, Starts to Tickle her)

TARA: (Laughing) OH will…willow stop (Laughing) (Drops book on the floor)

WILLOW: (Laughing) (Stops Tickling) Well that got you out of the book

TARA: (Sits up) Sorry but it’s really good

WILLOW: (Sits besides Tara) it’s ok (Touches Tara’s face) its just one of the things I love about you

TARA: (Smiles)

WILLOW: (Kisses Tara) I’d better let you get back to your book

TARA: (Kisses Willow) What book (They kiss again)

Cut to Buffy on Patrol Big Demon attacks her she gets knocked down, about that time Tally comes from the bushes.

TALLY: (Cast Spell)

Demon runs away

TALLY: Damn that wasn’t supposed to happen in till tomorrow night

BUFFY: (Jumps up) Who the hell are you

TALLY: (Turns around) I have to go

BUFFY: (Grabs Tally’s arm) Not in till I get some answers

TALLY: Buffy I don’t have time for this

BUFFY: How do you know my name

TALLY: Look I’d love to explain but theirs not time now please let me go

BUFFY: You did a spell are you a friend of Willow and Tara’s

TALLY: Yeah something like that

BUFFY: Did they send you

TALLY: (Hears Demon coming again) (Pushes Buffy out of the way)

BUFFY: Ok I want answers now

TALLY: The council sent that demon after you and your friends, we have to stop it before it gets to them, please Buffy just trust me

BUFFY: How do you know about the council

TALLY: It’s a long story and I don’t have time to tell it right now but I have to stop that thing before it gets to Willow and Tara

BUFFY: What about Willow

TALLY: Please just let me go

BUFFY: Fine but I’m coming with you

TALLY: Fine

Cuts campus where Willow and Tara are walking along the street looking at the moon, holding hands. Buffy and Tally come up to Willow and Tara.

BUFFY: Willow is everything ok

WILLOW: Yeah what’s wrong Buffy

BUFFY: (Looks at Tally) That’s what I’d like to know

TALLY: (Looks at Willow and Tara) We have to get you two out of sight

TARA: Hey your Dawn’s friend Tally

TALLY: Yeah but please we have to go

WILLOW: I don’t understand

TALLY: And I don’t have time to explain please just come with me

JOHNSON: Not so fast Tally

TALLY: (Shocked) Johnson what are you doing here

JOHNSON: I could ask you the same question

Buffy, Willow, and Tara are all looking confused

BUFFY: Who are you

JOHNSON: Oh look the slayer (Looks at Tally) well you wasted no time have you

TALLY: (Stands in front of Buffy and the others) Leave them alone

JOHNSON: Oh come now, why would I do that

TALLY: I’m serious

JOHNSON: What are you going to do bore me to death you won’t hurt me I know your values

TALLY: Hurt them and we’ll see where my values lie

JOHNSON: Come on you can’t do this your fooling with destiny

TALLY: No you’re the one’s fooling with destiny I’m just fixing the mess

JOHNSON: (Laughs) The hard way it is then (Pulls out gun) Come on now we’ve got a portal to get to

TALLY: (Looks at Buffy) Get them out of here Buffy

BUFFY: (Nods in agreement)

JOHNSON: (Shoots towards the ground where Buffy and the others where walking) Not so fast

TALLY: Let them go you only want me, let them go and you can have me

JOHNSON: Sorry you’re the one who wanted it the hard way (Starts to shoot)

TALLY: (Puts hand out and stops bullets in mid air, they then fall to the ground)

JOHNSON: How the hell did you do that

TALLY: I’ve been practicing

Tally starts to fight with Johnson they both take a lot of punches from one another, she fights with the same stile as Buffy. Buffy then starts in on the fight. Together they defeat Johnson. About that time the demon comes towards them.

TALLY: (Goes to Willow) Let me have that ring

WILLOW: What

TALLY: Please

WILLOW: (takes off ring that’s on her middle finger) here you go

TALLY: (Runs to Johnson and puts ring on his finger) (To Willow and Tara) Get behind the bushes

Willow and Tara listen to Tally and get behind the bushes. The demon goes to Johnson.

TALLY: (Chants spell)

The Demon vanishes Tara and Willow come from the bushes.

Buffy: (Looks at Tally) You’ve got some explaining to do

Cut to magic shop where the gang is around the table Tally is standing up talking to them.

TALLY: I’m from four years in the future, in my time line the council sent a demon to attack you all well I guess I should be more specific not the whole council but one man a guy who’s a Commander in my time, no one knows his name but this is how he made his mark. He sent the demon to this time, and Willow sent the demon to another dimension, well four years from now you where to have a very pissed off demon wanting revenge and you have the commander helping him, anyway in a fight Willow was killed because the demon used the ring to find her but now it’ll find Johnson and kill him (Pan over to see Johnson tied to a chair) I’ll port back during the attack so he won’t have time to react

WILLOW: Killed

TALLY: Yeah mom (Stops her self) Willow

WILLOW: (surprised) What did you say

TALLY: Nothing, its nothing

TARA: So how do you know magic

TALLY: I’m going to have wonderful teachers, in all of you (Smiles)

BUFFY: Where did you learn to fight like you do

TALLY: Like I said wonderful teachers (Looks at Giles)

GILES: How do you come into our lives

TALLY: Soon Mr. Giles you’ll find out soon

TARA: That’s what I call him

TALLY: I know (Smiles)

DAWN: So where all alive four years from now huh

TALLY: Yeah alive and well

DAWN: So does your family move here with you

TALLY: Not really, I don’t have family till I met you guys (Looks at Tara and Willow) But I have the best parents after I come here, the best any kid could ever have

WILLOW: Us (looks at Tara)

TARA: (Surprised) Where going to be y..yo..your parents

TALLY: (Smiles) Yeah, but you know your all not going to remember a thing when I leave here

BUFFY: Why not

TALLY: I can’t tamper any more then I already have so I’m going to do a forgetting spell on you

WILLOW: We must have taught you well

TALLY: The best

DAWN: So will you be here soon

TALLY: Sooner then you think (looks at clock) and I’d better be getting back (Chants and opens portal) Dawn try to remember when we’re in chemistry together don’t mix the blue powder in the red beaker, just makes a really big mess (Laughs) But I guess we’ll just have to do it to see it (Smiles) (Chants something else and goes through portal with Johnson)

Big flash of light then cuts to Dawn walking with schoolbooks. 16-year-old Tally is walking with backpack. She bumps into Dawn.

DAWN: Geezer’s don’t you watch where your going

TALLY: Oh hey sorry

They pick both their things up

DAWN: Its ok I haven’t seen you around

TALLY: Oh I just got here

DAWN: Really cool, I’m Dawn

TALLY: I’m Tally

Girls from earlier starts to come up

DAWN: Great (discussed) just what I need

TALLY: Not to nice are they

Setting: Tally and Dawn are in the Sunnydale Public library with different high school books around them. They’re pretty much alone.



DAWN: (puts her head on the book she was reading) I can’t take anymore studying

TALLY: Oh come on we’ve only got (looks a little worried) three more chapters to finish

DAWN: Yeah well how about I pay you to finish (looks up smiling at Tally)

TALLY: Well Willow say’s theirs money to be made that way (smiles)

DAWN: To bad I’m broke

TALLY: (Just smiles) Study

DAWN: Ok but your buying Ice cream afterwards

TALLY: Deal



Cuts to: Ice Cream shop where Tara, Willow, and Buffy are all sitting eating ice cream. Tally and Dawn can be seen coming up.



BUFFY: Looks like Dawn and um…what’s her name (Buffy looked puzzled)

WILLOW: Buffy my mom forgetting names is enough that’s Tally

TARA: (Grins)

BUFFY: That’s right, and hey don’t compare me with your mom that’s just scary

(They all laugh)

DAWN: Hey guys

TARA: Hey Dawnie

WILLOW: Hey Tally

TALLY: Hi (Both Tally and Dawn sit down)

WILLOW: So how’d the studying go

TALLY: Well Dawn only fell asleep two times, so she’s getting better

BUFFY: Yes defiantly my sister (Smiles)

DAWN: Hey (playfully hit’s Buffy’s arm)

TARA: So you got all the chemistry done

TALLY: Pretty much thanks for helping me the other night

TARA: (Smiles) your welcome

TALLY: I’m still a little worried about the class presentation though

DAWN: Oh don’t worry it’ll be fine who could give us an “F”

TALLY: The teacher

TARA: (Smiles) Well if you do half as good as you did the other day I think an “A” is coming your w.w..way

TALLY: Thanks Tara (smiles) (notices the time) hey you guys I’ve got to go

DAWN: No fair your supposed to buy Ice Cream

TALLY: Rain check

DAWN: (Smiles) ok

TALLY: (gets up) See you guys tomorrow (looks at dawn) and remember we have to be at class early

DAWN: Don’t worry

TALLY: (shoots dawn and “sure” look) By you guys (Tally walks off)

BUFFY: So she’s ready for the presentation but are you

DAWN: Buffy I’m your sister you’re supposed to have faith in me

BUFFY: Yeah well I do, but I also know your study habits

WILLOW: I think your busted Dawnie

DAWN: Oh not you to Tara you’ll take up for me right

TARA: W..W..Well you did miss the study night with me and Tally, B..b…but I’m sure you’ll do fine to

DAWN: See Tara agrees with me

BUFFY: (Gets up) Well then come on braincase we need to get you home before bedtime

DAWN: Fine but Buffy

BUFFY: Yeah

DAWN: Lets leave the Braincase nickname here ok

BUFFY: (Smiles) Sure (waves goodbye to Willow and Tara then her and Dawn walk off)

WILLOW: (Takes Tara’s hand) Alone at last

TARA: (looks around) Well not technically alone

WILLOW: Shoot I knew I didn’t like this place (kisses Tara) Want to go be technically alone

TARA: Oh yes



Cuts to the New Sunnydale High School: Class room where Tally and Dawn are in the front of a pretty large size class doing their Chemistry presentation. Dawn is reading index cards while Tally is actually doing the mixing of chemicals and such.



DAWN: Then the Blue Powder (hand bottle to Tally) will mix into the contents of the Red beaker (motions for Tally to pour) and with the chemical reaction the beaker should turn a pretty pink by the binding of the molecules

TALLY: (Pours the powder into the red beaker) (the beaker explodes and both Tally and Dawn are covered in a gooey pinkish slime)

BETH: Well at least it’s Pink (Class starts laughing)

DAWN: (Runs out of the room)

TALLY: (Looks at class) And that’s what we call shock chemistry hope you enjoyed (Runs after Dawn)

BETH: Losers



Cuts to Bathroom where you can hear Dawn crying, Tally comes in



TALLY: Dawn are you ok

DAWN: I’m not in here

TALLY: (Sits in front of the Bathroom stall) ok well I’ll just talk to the talking toilet then

DAWN: Gee thanks (opens the door) Why are you sitting on the bathroom floor don’t you know how nasty they are (offers her hand to help Tally up)

TALLY: (gets up) I didn’t realize toilets could move

DAWN: Oh hush (half smiles)

TALLY: Come on lets try to get some of this mess off

DAWN: Yeah we’ve only got four more classes to go to

TALLY: Well at least we’ll be popular today

DAWN: Just what I always wanted

TALLY: But just so you know, you do owe me a new set of clothes

DAWN: (Smiles) Deal



Cuts to Magic Shop where Tara and Willow are sitting together reading, Giles is redoing a bookshelf, Anya is with a customer, and Xander is helping Giles.



TARA: I wonder how their presentation went

WILLOW: (hears the door) I guess where going to find out



Dawn and Tally come in pretty much still covered with the pinkish slime. They’re both laughing.



WILLOW: What happen



Dawn and Tally sit down where Willow and Tara are.

TALLY: Well Dr. Summers here came up with a blasting blue powder

DAWN: Yes that exploded in front of the whole entire class

TALLY: During our first period

TARA: Are you guys ok

DAWN: Only our pride is hurt



Buffy comes out from the training room and walks over to the table.



BUFFY: Well look pink’s paying us a visit

DAWN: Really funny Buffy

BUFFY: What happen

DAWN: Exploding chemicals

BUFFY: O that’s right the presentation (sits beside her sister) went this good huh

DAWN: Pretty much

GILES: (Walks over) Well I think you two did very well by just trying

TARA: Mr. Giles is right it takes courage just to even try

TALLY: Thanks but next time I’m going to do the reading

DAWN: Deal

WILLOW: How about we all go to the Bronze since it’s Friday to celebrate

TALLY: Willow we didn’t get an “A”

WILLOW: What did you get

TALLY: (Smiles) “A+” the teacher thought we planed it

WILLOW: (BIG smile at the mention of “A+”)

DAWN: That’s only because after I ran out of the room you made it look planed

TALLY: I’m a fast thinking

BUFFY: (puts arm’s around Tally and Dawn) Well we defiantly need a Bronze night (lifts arms up some of the pink stuff got on Buffy) Oh man dawn you owe me clothes

DAWN: I’m so not going to have any money when we go to the mall

TALLY: (Smiles)

DAWN: So do you want to stay over with me tonight, cause theirs no telling when we’ll get back

TALLY: um let me ask when I go change but it shouldn’t be a problem

DAWN: Ok cool

TALLY: (Gets up) what time do you guys want to meet up

DAWN: (looks at Buffy)

BUFFY: Oh how about 10 because I’ve got lots of stuff to um do

TALLY: Ok well I’ll see you all at the Bronze then (waves bye then walks out the door)

DAWN: I think we should tell her

BUFFY: Dawn I know she’s like your best friend but she’s only been around for like a few months we need to know her better

WILLOW: Buffy’s right Dawn, it could get her into trouble

DAWN: You told Tara when you first meet her

WILLOW: Well that was different

TARA: Dawn may be right you guys, I m..mean Tally might be safer if she knew some stuff to expect

BUFFY: (Thinks it over) I’ll think about it Dawn, but no promises

DAWN: Thank you



Cuts to Bronze where all the gang is there except for Tally. Everyone except Tara and Dawn are at the drink stand.



TARA: I’m sure it’s ok Dawn she’s just a little late

DAWN: Yeah but she’s never late I’m the one who always is

TARA: Tell you what if she’s not her in like thirty more minutes we’ll go look for her

DAWN: (Smiles) Thanks Tara



The rest of the group joins them on the couch



WILLOW: Tally still hasn’t got here

DAWN: No

BUFFY: Maybe her parents wouldn’t let her come

DAWN: I think she’d call me



About that time Tally walks op to the group

TALLY: Hey guys sorry I’m late

DAWN: (Jumps up and hugs tally) Where have you been

TALLY: (Flinches at dawns hug, and acts a little surprised)

DAWN: Are you ok

TALLY: Yeah I just had a little accident that’s why I’m late

TARA: What happen

TALLY: Well um I just tripped no big really

TARA: (looks suspicious)

WILLOW: Well now we can all party (Smiles) (looks at Tara) Dance with me

TARA: (Smiles) Sure (they go to the dance floor)

XANDER: So no more chemical explosions I take it since you’re in good clothes (Smiles)

TALLY: Anya don’t you want to dance

ANYA: Not with you

TALLY: That’s not what I meant (embarrassed)

ANYA: But the child’s right why aren’t we dancing

XANDER: (Looks at Tally) Bigmouth

TALLY: See what you get Mr. No more Chemical Explosions man (Grins)

ANYA: Come on Xander we must dance now (leaves with Xander to the dance floor)

BUFFY: I’m impressed Tally

TALLY: I have a few talents (Smiles)

GUY: (walks up to Buffy) Would you like to dance

BUFFY: (Looks at Dawn how nods “go ahead”) Sure (Leaves with guy to dance floor)

DAWN: So are you really ok

TALLY: I told you yeah

DAWN: So are you staying over tonight

TALLY: Only if you promise not to snore

DAWN: (playfully pushes Tally’s side)

TALLY: (Makes a face of pain that Dawn doesn’t notice)



Cuts to Willow and Tara on the dance floor.



WILLOW: What’s wrong honey

TARA: Something seams off with Tally tonight

WILLOW: How so

TARA: I’m not sure, her aura is, well….

WILLOW: She’s not someone else is she

TARA: (Smiles) No, but she seams upset or something I’m not sure and hey maybe it’s nothing

WILLOW: Think we should ask

TARA: I don’t know maybe

WILLOW: (Hugs Tara) I love you

TARA: (Smiles) I love you to



Cut back to Tally and Dawn. Their walking outside



TALLY: Don’t you think we should’ve told Buffy we where leaving

DAWN: No she was to busy with that guy anyways, It’s nice to see her having fun, (They start to walk towards dawns home) ever since Riley left she’s been so lonesome

TALLY: She hasn’t heard from him

DAWN: Not one word

TALLY: That sucks (Looking around)

DAWN: You’ve been kind of quite tonight

TALLY: Is that so strange

DAWN: For you yeah

TALLY: Hey

DAWN: Well it’s true

TALLY: I’m just a little tired sleep will cure me then I’ll be back to talking your ears off

DAWN: Well maybe we should keep you up a little while longer (Grins)



We can see Buffy, Willow, and Tara catching up to Tally and Dawn

Tally and Dawn stop

DAWN: Yeah well we wanted to go home

TALLY: Told you

TARA: It really is dangerous out here Dawn you know that

BUFFY: (Looks at Tally, who is sweating now) Are you ok

TALLY: (Didn’t hear Buffy because she was looking away, kind of scared)

BUFFY: Tally

TALLY: (Jumps) yeah

BUFFY: Are you ok

TALLY: I’m fine

WILLOW: Are you sure you seam kind of jumpy

TALLY: (Little mad) I said I was fine

TARA: (Looks at tally’s hand and notices a Silver Ring that wasn’t their earlier) Can I see that ring

TALLY: (Looks up set) I’m leaving now

DAWN: Tally wait

TALLY: I’ll see you at school (walks off)

DAWN: Something’s wrong with her

WILLOW: Tara felt that to and with her acting this way it doesn’t add up

BUFFY: See why I said wait about telling her Dawn you don’t know her

DAWN: (Mad at Buffy) Damn you Buffy she’s my friend and I’m going to find out what’s wrong with her (head off in the direction of Tally)

BUFFY: Dawn wait (Looks at Willow and Tara) want to come with

TARA/WILLOW: Yes

They take off after Dawn. Cut to Dawn who’s found Tally lying on a park bench.



DAWN: Tally (goes to tally) (squats so she’s eye level)

TALLY: (Looks in bad shape, Sweating heavily) Dawn please leave now

DAWN: You’re my friend I’m not leaving

TALLY: They did something to me today and I don’t know if I can control (Stops holds her stomach falls off the bench her nose is bleeding, passes out)

DAWN: Tally (Holds tally’s head in her lap)



Buffy, Willow, and Tara, comes up.



DAWN: Something’s wrong with her Buffy she said someone did something but she passed out before she could tell me

WILLOW: (Squats down and feels of Tally’s forehead) She’s burning up

TARA: Buffy I since magic in her

BUFFY: What

TARA: I’ve never felt that before but now it’s very strong

WILLOW: Are you sure

TARA: Very, she didn’t have that ring earlier do you think it’s got something to do with this

WILLOW: Not sure (touches the ring and gets shot backwards)

TARA: Willow (Helps willow up) are you ok

WILLOW: Yeah, and I think it defiantly has something to do with this mess

TALLY: (Opens her eyes) Where am I

BUFFY: Where in the park Tally what happen to you when you went home

TALLY: (Stands up like nothings wrong) I’m fine now sorry to bother you all (starts to walk off)

DAWN: (Grabs Tally’s arm) You’re not fine

TALLY: (Looks like she’s have a very hard time controlling something) Dawn let go (Clenches her hand with the ring on it in a fist)

DAWN: Tally tell me what’s wrong

MR. BURROWS: (Walks up to the group) Is their something I can help with

BUFFY: Sorry sir we don’t need any help

TALLY: (Looks at Mr. Burrows) (Mad) Leave you son of a bitch

MR. BURROWS: Now, Now Tally is that any way to talk to your father

TALLY: You’re not my father



Group looks confused



MR. BURROWS: Well the courts say so Faster father is just as good as a real father

TALLY: (looks as if she’s fighting harder) I won’t do it

MR. BURROWS: Well see here’s the thing (Waves his hand) you don’t have much choice (Tally goes down on her knee’s) (He waves his other hand and Buffy, Willow, Tara, and Dawn are also on their knee’s)

TALLY: I can fight this

MR. BURROWS: That’s what your sister thought to now what graveyard is she in again

TALLY: I’m going to kill you

MR. BURROWS: Yes anger is good (laughs) Who knew moving our little “family” to a hell mouth would be so helpful, your mother needs your power to finish her transformation but you must join us first that ring only hold s fraction of the power you can possess, we searched for years till we found the right foster child that had your potential, your grandmother dieing her little accidental death was the best thing to ever happen to you.

BUFFY: You killed her family

MR. BURROWS: Just her grandmother her parents died when she was just a baby, sad really, I’m just glad my wife and I where their to pick up poor little Tally (laughs) Now dear (waves hands) be a good girl and come with me

TALLY: (Still fighting)

MR. BURROWS: Fine I’ll just start one by one with your friends (waves hands towards dawn)

TALLY: NO (Jumps free and tackles Burrows) I won’t let you hurt another person

MR. BURROWS: That’s right embrace the power of the ring I feel it growing in you

TALLY: (Nose is bleeding again) if that’s what it takes to save my friends then so be it (Hits Burrows)

MR. BURROWS: Oh but you can’t kill me I’m to strong for you

TALLY: We’ll see (they start to fight)



Mean while Willow and Tara are in the process of breaking free they chant a spell and then they’re all free from the barrier that held them, Buffy joins in with Tally to fight Burrows. About that time, Mrs. Burrows comes into the scene.



MRS. BURROWS: Well the fun’s started without me (Starts to hit Tally)

DAWN: Tally behind you

TALLY: (Turns around and stops Mrs. Burrow’s blow)

MRS. BURROWS: (Looks at dawn) Bitch

MR. BURROWS: (Knocks Buffy down and grabs Tally) One kill and your ring can never be taken off come on don’t you want to embrace the power.

MRS. BURROWS: (walks to Dawn) Your going to pay for that little one you’ll make a good addition to our family

BUFFY: (Tries to free Tally)

TALLY: Help Dawn

BUFFY: But

TALLY: Trust me

BUFFY: (goes over to Mrs. Burrows and tries to stop her)

WILLOW: We have to stop her

TARA: Try a freezing spell (They chant but instead of stopping Mrs. Burrows the magic reflects to Buffy)

WILLOW: Damn

MRS. BURROWS: Don’t you witches know of repelling spells (laughs) (puts hands on Dawns Throat) Time to have some fun

TALLY: (gets free from Mr. Burrows) NO (Jumps on Mrs. Burrows back and twist her neck)

DAWN: (Falls down)

BUFFY: (spell is broken also falls)

TALLY: (Falls to the ground with Mrs. Burrows body)

MR. BURROWS: Baby No (Looks at tally) I’m going to kill you

TALLY: (Stands up eyes are grayish) I don’t think so (Holds out right hand-the one with the ring- and shoots a bolt of light that hits Mr. Burrows)



Both bodies of Mr. And Mrs. Burrows dissolve into ooze, everyone stands up and looks at Tally.



TALLY: (has her back to everyone)

DAWN: Tally

TALLY: (Looks down at her hand)

TARA: (steps in front of dawn) Dawn get back

WILLOW: (knows something’s up) Dawn listen to Tara

DAWN: (gets behind Willow, Tara, and Buffy)

BUFFY: Tally listen it’s us your friends

TARA: You’re with real family now

TALLY: (Turns around eyes are still a funny color) I killed them I’m one of them now I feel out of control I don’t want to hurt you guys

TARA: Your ok just calm down (walks closer to Tally)

WILLOW: (looks a little scared)

TALLY: (Right hand starts to shake) Tara get back

TARA: (Backs up)

TALLY: (Starts to walk off)

DAWN: (Breaks through Willow, Buffy, and Tara) Tally no (grabs Tally’s arm)



The group yell’s “Dawn No”



TALLY: (Faces dawn) (Her eyes are fine now) (Nose bleeds again) Dawn (Faints)



Cuts to magic box where the whole group is sitting around the table with books in front of them. Tally is on the side with Dawn.



TALLY: So did you find something Giles

GILES: I’m afraid what the Burrow’s said was true the ring can never be taken off while your alive (Takes his glasses off)

TALLY: What else

GILES: Your power will only grow now as well as your strength the cult of the ring’s dates all the way back to ancient Greek times

DAWN: That’d explain the Greek symbols

GILES: And from what you’ve told us about your past, your grandmother seamed to be a very powerful witch

TALLY: It’s funny she never wanted me to learn the craft

TARA: Maybe she saw what was to come for you

TALLY: Maybe so

GILES: You’ll have to learn to control both your strength and magic or it’ll destroy you

TALLY: Well I’ll have to do it on my own since my foster family got in a “Car accident” I’ll get transferred somewhere else

GILES: Well with your permission I’d like you to stay with me

TALLY: What

GILES: I talked to the state and they said it would be ok, since you’ve already established your self in the school here and everything. So will you

BUFFY: Yeah I can help you with the strength aspect

WILLOW: And Tara and I can help you with magic

ANYA: I can help you count money

TARA: I already know that Anya but thanks (Smiles)

DAWN: And I can be your chemistry buddy

TALLY: No blue powder though (Smiles)

DAWN: Deal (Smiles)

TALLY: This still seams so unreal, I mean Vampires, (looks at Buffy) Slayers, (Looks at her hand) and Cult of rings whatever, I just want to be normal.

XANDER: Well Tally in this world normal isn’t anything to be proud of (Smiles)

GILES: How about it will you stay

TALLY: Sure Mr. Giles I know I need help and my friends is a good place for that (Smiles)

GILES: Good I’ll go to the Child Department and get all the papers in order

TALLY: But what if I can’t control the power

BUFFY: We have faith in you kid (walks over and puts her hand on Tally’s shoulder)

WILLOW: We sure do and besides you saved all of us last night that took a lot out of you

TARA: Yeah you had psycho man telling your brain what to do but you still listened to your heart that took will power and courage

TALLY: So Buffy you’ll really teach me how to fight

BUFFY: Sure

TALLY: Cool hey I may even get better then you (shy little grin)

BUFFY: Don’t push it squirt



The group all laughs.

Summery: Christmas Time In Sunnydale





Setting: Magic box training room Tally is training with Buffy and Giles you can tell they’ve been at if for a while because even Buffy is looking a little tired.





GILES: Come on Buffy (blocks her attack) You can do better

BUFFY: (annoyed) Giles we’ve been at this all day I’ve done better today (Stops)

GILES: Well you’re the one who wanted to skip training tomorrow so we had to do double today

BUFFY: So sue me that I wanted to decorate for Christmas

TALLY: (Gets bottle of water and takes a drink) yeah I still have to go shopping

GILES: (now he’s annoyed) Fine we’ll quite but I want you back here Monday ready to train

TALLY/BUFFY: (Mocking) Yes Sir (They walk out of tanning room)

GILES: (Half grins)





Anya is at the cash register going through some cash receipts, Willow and Tara are at the table helping Dawn with what looks like homework. Buffy and Tally come and join the three at the table.





TARA: Oh look they come out of the elusive training session (Smiles)

WILLOW: Yeah I think they look a little more in shape

DAWN: (Grins) Maybe we should send them back in





The three laugh, Tally and Buffy Sit down with them

BUFFY: Very funny

DAWN: We though so (Smiles)

WILLOW: So Tally how you feeling

TALLY: Pretty good actually it’s been a rough three weeks but I think I’m starting to get the hang of the training

BUFFY: Stronger then she looks I tell you

DAWN: (Looks at Buffy) I hear a lot of that goes around

BUFFY: (Throws sweaty towel at dawn)

DAWN: O gross

TALLY: (Smiles)

GILES: (comes out of the training room) Tally (Throws a baseball at her)

TALLY: (gives a quick glance at Giles, then puts her right hand up and stops the ball mid-air, and then pulls it to her and clutches it in her hand)

GILES: (Smiles) Very good

TALLY: Thanks (Puts ball on table)

WILLOW: I taught her that (Big Smile)

TARA: Yes dear we know

WILLOW: Hey (they both laugh)

BUFFY: So who’s up for a trip to the mall

WILLOW: Oh yes Christmas Eve shopping is always the most crowded

TALLY: I’m up well I think I’m up for it one sec. (looks at Giles) can I have some money

GILES: For what

TALLY: Christmas shopping and possible some food

GILES: (Pulls out around $200, and hands it to Tally) Here don’t spend it all in one store

TALLY: (Surprised)

GILES: Isn’t it enough

TALLY: More then enough (Smiles) thank you

GILES: Well it’s just an advance on your paycheck so (trying play it off)

ANYA: I want and advance (Walks over to group)

GILES: Fine (hands Anya the same)

ANYA: Thanks (BIG smile)

GILES: Merry Christmas

WILLOW: Hey Giles if you’re in a giving mood (Smiles) (holds out her hand)

GILES: Well Willow you’ll just have to wait till tomorrow to see if I’m in a giving mood (smiles) I’ve got some work to do at home, (looks at Tally) do you have your keys

TALLY: Yeah and I’ve got some extra clothes here so I’ll come home after we finish shopping if that’s ok

GILES: Its fine have fun (Walks out the door)

ANYA: So I get to go to don’t I

TARA: of course Anya you can help us get the best deals

ANYA: OH Yes Xander is going to be sorry he had to work today

WILLOW: But Anya aren’t you supposed to work today

ANYA: Oh no Giles is gone I can close early (Smiles) So are we ready

BUFFY: Well let Tally and I change (Stands up) I’ll be right back then you can have the bathroom (exits)

TALLY: (Looks at Dawn) so how’s the math coming along

DAWN: ok I guess

WILLOW: She’s doing great

TALLY: Well at least theirs no beakers (Grins)

DAWN: Are you ever going to let me live that down

TALLY: At some point just not now

DAWN: (Throw’s Buffy’s sweaty towel at Tally)

TALLY: (Smiles) So what time are we meeting tomorrow

WILLOW: I think Buffy said about 11am

TARA: Yeah wouldn’t want to keep you guys from presents

DAWN: Oh well Tara if I remember you where one of the first one’s to start opening last year

WILLOW: (Smiled) She’s right you know

TARA: (Face turns a little red)

TALLY: Red’s a good color on you Tara (Grins)

WILLOW: I think so to (Smiles)

TALLY: That’s not what I meant (embarrassed)

ANYA: I think Buffy’s rubbing off on you to much kid, your starting to insert your foot the same way she does

TALLY: (confused) What

ANYA: You know the foot meet’s mouth thing

BUFFY: (Enters ready for town) ok squirt your turn

TALLY: I’ll be right back (goes into bathroom)

BUFFY: So what do we get for her

TARA: (Looks at willow) We actually already got her something

ANYA: So did Xander and I

BUFFY: Dawn

DAWN: Oh I’m through with all my shopping I just want to go to the mall

BUFFY: Well I guess me and Tally are the only one’s with actually shopping

ANYA: (Whisper to Tara) I tell you their turning into twins

TARA: (Half laughs)

TALLY: (comes out dressed for the mall) ok I’m ready

DAWN: Took you long enough (gets her stuff together)

BUFFY: We should get going I have to be on patrol tonight

TALLY: You’d think the demons would take the night off

WILLOW: Yeah to bad they don’t look at our calendar





Cuts to the mall where the group is walking down looking in different stores. They all have bags, but Tally and Buffy have the most bags.





ANYA: Wow look at all the people buying things, we should move the Magic Box into the Mall

WILLOW: I don’t think Giles would agree with you

TARA: Yeah I think he likes it where it is

ANYA: Yes he’s not to business minded sometimes

WILLOW: I know look at the help he hires

ANYA: (Didn’t hear good) What

WILLOW: Um did you see that window display it’d look good in the Magic Box

ANYA: (Looks) Oh your right

TARA: (Gives Willow a evil grin) Vixen (Smiles)

WILLOW: But you love me

TARA: Of course (kisses willow)

BUFFY: Ok guys break it up (comes between Tara and Willow) we have more serious shopping to do

TALLY: Oh I don’t know Buffy maybe we should leave them

DAWN: Yeah it could be fun

WILLOW: Oh gee thanks guys

DAWN: No problem (Spots something in a store and takes off out of sight)

BUFFY: So much for staying together

TALLY: (also spots something and goes into a toy store)





Anya, Buffy, Willow, and Tara spot a bench outside of the stores the girls went in so they sit down.





WILLOW: (Whispers to Tara) I can’t wait to get home

TARA: Me either

WILLOW: Then we’ll really see how red looks on you

TARA: Willow (Embarrassed)

WILLOW: (Holds Tara’s hand and smiles)

TALLY: (Comes out of the store with a big back but you can’t see what’s in it)

BUFFY: What’d you buy

TALLY: It’s a secrete

TARA: Well defiantly don’t tell Willow

WILLOW: Hey

TARA: Face it baby you just can’t keep’m

STEVE: (Walks over to group) Hey Tally





Group looks a little surprised that he knew Tally





TALLY: Hey Steve what’s up

STEVE: Not much just getting some stuff for my mom

TALLY: Oh guys this is Steve, (looks at Steve) these are my friends

STEVE: (Looks at Buffy) your Dawn’s sister

BUFFY: Yeah I’m Buffy

WILLOW: Willow

TARA: Tara

ANYA: I’m Anya

STEVE: Nice to meet you all (Looks at Tally) did you finish the computer lab homework

TALLY: Yeah but if it hadn’t been for Willow I might not have

STEVE: So do you have big Christmas plans for tomorrow

TALLY: I do what about you

STEVE: Yeah it’s the only time Sunnydale has stuff going on

BUFFY: (under her breath) if you only knew kid

STEVE: Well I guess I should be going see you at school

TALLY: Yeah see you later Merry Christmas

STEVE: Merry Christmas (Walks off)

DAWN: (Walks out of store with new bag, spot’s Steve walking off) Hey what was he doing

WILLOW: Seams Tally has and admire

TALLY: No where just in computer class together

DAWN: Oh (Trying not to look upset)

TARA: (Takes in how Dawn is acting)

BUFFY: So I think we’ve about shopped out huh

DAWN: Yeah I think so



Buffy and Dawn start to walk, followed by Anya and Willow, Tara stays back to talk to Tally.



TARA: So how you feeling

TALLY: I’m good, sometimes it’s hard to balance emotions but you know other then the ring I guess I’m pretty normal in that aspect

TARA: Well you’ve did really well with the Magic (Smiles) I’m proud of you

TALLY: Thanks Tara you don’t know how that makes me feel to hear you say that (Hugs Tara)

TARA: (Smiles) You know if you ever need to talk I’m here no matter what even if it’s just day to day stuff and nothing to do with your learning

TALLY: I’ll keep that in mind

TARA: I guess we should catch up with them huh

TALLY: Yeah wouldn’t want to miss the bus





Cuts to Tally’s new room in Giles house, it has a Twin sized bed, a desk, and a door that leads to a bathroom. It still looks as if Tally is trying to put everything in place. Theirs a note on Tally’s desk that was waiting for her. Tally sets her bags down and reads the note





TALLY: (reading from note) I had to go out, Buffy will come by to take you on patrol with her (Stops reading, puts the note back down) (hears knock on Door) That was quick (Goes to the door it’s Buffy)

BUFFY: Hey there was a message on my machine saying you where to go patrolling with me

TALLY: Yeah I just got a message like that to

BUFFY: So you ready

TALLY: Sure



Cuts to Willow and Tara’s dorm room where they are wrapping presents.



TARA: Willow did you notice how Dawn acted when she saw that guy talking to Tally

WILLOW: Yeah kinda unlike Dawnie

TARA: (Looks at Willow) I think she may “Like” Tally

WILLOW: You mean like “Like” like

TARA: Well that’s the impression I got

WILLOW: Is that why you hung back with Tally

TARA: Sort of I wanted to tell Tally I was here if she needed to talk, I mean if her and Dawn are having feelings for each other

WILLOW: It could be scary for both of them

TARA: Exactly

WILLOW: Your always thinking about others

TARA: Well Tally’s kind of like the little sister I never had I feel connected to her

WILLOW: (Smiles) (then looks kind of worried) If she and Dawn are going through something do you think Tally will be able to control her emotions

TARA: I don’t know, she’s just learning how to use them I don’t want to see her or Dawn hurt

WILLOW: Me neither, do you think we should tell Buffy just in case

TARA: No, if something is going on they should tell us not the other way around

WILLOW: Yeah your right, but I think we should keep a watchful eye on Tally in case she needs extra help

TARA: Agreed

WILLOW: (Kisses Tara, puts a little piece of wrapping paper on her shirt)

TARA: What are you doing (Looking down at the paper on her shirt)

WILLOW: I want to un wrap my present early (big goofy grin)

TARA: Oh well I think that can be arranged (Smiles) (Kisses Willow)





Cuts to Graveyard where Buffy and Tally are fighting two vampires. They dust them.





BUFFY: I hope that’s it for tonight

TALLY: They seam to be out in full force don’t they

BUFFY: Probably thought I’d take the night off

TALLY: (Smiles) (See’s Steve) What’s he doing here

BUFFY: Who

TALLY: Steve

BUFFY: Good question lets get out of sight and see (They get behind some bushes and watch Steve go up to a grave stone)

DAWN: (Watching from a distance so she’s not seen)

STEVE: (Puts flowers on grave) (Then walks back out of sight)

BUFFY: (Comes out from behind the bushes)

TALLY: (Follows Buffy to where Steve was)

BUFFY: (Looks at gave stone) Must have been his mom (Looks a little sad)

TALLY: I’m sorry Buffy

BUFFY: It’s ok, it’s just this is the first Christmas without my mom

TALLY: Yeah Dawn’s feeling sad to she hasn’t said anything but I can tell

BUFFY: It’s good she’s got you

TALLY: I feel the same with her she’s a great friend

DAWN: (Accidentally snaps a branch)

BUFFY: (Gets into fighting mode)

TALLY: (Looking around) I don’t see anything

DAWN: (Walks up to the pair) It’s just me

BUFFY: Dawn what the hell are you doing here

DAWN: I wanted to come with you

BUFFY: Yeah and I said no

DAWN: (Looks at Tally) You guys didn’t tell Steve to leave

BUFFY: Dawn hello public graveyard and besides it’d be kind of hard to explain us being here

DAWN: Right

TALLY: Dawn what’s with you; it’s dangerous out here

DAWN: OH yeah you’ve had that magical ring for a few weeks and your all knowing on the danger aspect

BUFFY: Dawn that’s enough Tally’s right it’s dangerous for you to be out here by your self

DAWN: Whatever (starts to walk away)

TALLY: Dawn wait (starts to follow Dawn)

DAWN: I can find my own way home

TALLY: (Looks a little hurt)

DAWN: (Goes out of sight)

BUFFY: (walks to Tally) We should follow her

TALLY: Yeah

Suddenly five vampires jump Buffy and Tally; Dawn here’s this and runs back.

TALLY: (Stakes one Vamp.) (Notices Dawn’s Back) Dawn get out of here

DAWN: I can fight to (stakes another vamp)

BUFFY: (fights stakes vamp) (then gets another one)

The last vamp. Throw’s a knife towards Tally

TALLY: (Puts right hand up and tries to focus)

DAWN: (Yells) Tally look out

TALLY: (looses concentration and knife stabs her through hand)

BUFFY: (Stakes the last vamp) (Runs to Tally) are you ok

TALLY: (looking at the knife sticking through her hand) it hurts

BUFFY: Damn it Dawn why couldn’t you just stay at home

DAWN: (Runs off)

TALLY: It’s my fault Buffy I couldn’t concentrate

BUFFY: We need to get you to the ER





Cuts to Tara and Willow’s dorm room where they’re asleep when they hear a banging at their door, Willow answers.



WILLOW: Just a minute (Puts house coat on) (looks through peep hole) Dawnie

DAWN: (crying)

TARA: (Gets up) What’s wrong

DAWN: Tally (Hugs Willow)

WILLOW: (looks at Tara worried) What happen

DAWN: I went looking for her and Buffy after they went on patrol but I said something smart-alecky to Tally then I ran off, but her and Buffy where attacked by vamps so I came back

TARA: Oh goddesses are they ok

DAWN: Tally tried to stop a knife thrown at her but I yelled to warn her and broke her concentration and it went through her hand

TARA: What did you say to her

DAWN: I saw that Steve boy again he asked me if Tally had a Boyfriend then I followed him to the cemetery where Buffy and Tally where at then I brought up about him being at the same cemetery or something like that it’s all pretty much a blur now

WILLOW: (Holds dawn close) Oh dawnie did he see the vampires

DAWN: No he left before I even came into view (laid her head on Willow’s shoulder) I don’t even know why it bothered me it’s good Tally has someone interested in her

TARA: (Run’s her hand over Dawns back) Its ok (looks at Willow with sad eyes)



Little while latter Dawn is asleep on the bed, Tara, and Willow are sitting in the big chair together, Willow is in Tara’s lap.

WILLOW: Oh I think she knows but she doesn’t want to admit it (Kisses Tara) (Snuggles up to her)

WILLOW: I was just thinking of when I first started having feelings for you how scared I was mix that in with being in High School and it’s even scarier

TARA: (about to say something when theirs a knock on the door)

WILLOW: (Answers the door) Tally are you ok

TALLY: Yeah (holds up right hand) I just have this nifty bandage is Dawn here

WILLOW: (Lets Tally in) (points to bed) How’d you know

TALLY: Well Buffy and I went to her house and she wasn’t there, and then I went with Giles home and she wasn’t there so I figured this was one of the more logical places to check

TARA: (Walks over to willow and tally) Yeah Buffy called but does Mr. Giles know you’re here

TALLY: No he kind of sent me to bed after the hospital, uh is she ok

TARA: Yeah but Dawn thinks she’s the reason you got hurt

TALLY: That’s stupid I just lost concentration it wasn’t her fault

DAWN: (Sits up) Yes it was

TALLY: (Walks over beside bed) No it wasn’t the wind could’ve messed with my concentration

DAWN: Yeah the wind with a voice really like mine, are you ok

TALLY: I’m super

DAWN: (Looks at Tally’s hand) God I’m so sorry

TALLY: I’m good I promise

TARA: (Looks at Willow, and mouths) The Hall

WILLOW: (walks out with Tara leaving Tally and Dawn alone)

DAWN: If I hadn’t come you would’ve been ok

TALLY: I’m fine now

DAWN: Oh sure a hole in your hand is great (Tear comes down face)

TALLY: (Set’s by Dawn on the bed Wipes tear from Dawn’s face) What’s going on Dawn

DAWN: I don’t know it’s complicated

TALLY: What isn’t

DAWN: It’s (Starts crying)

TALLY: (Hugs Dawn) Did something hurt you

DAWN: (Pulls Back) No nothing like that

TALLY: Then what

DAWN: (Takes Tally’s bandaged hand) I don’t want to loose you as a friend

TALLY: Is that all because hey your pretty much stuck with me from now on

DAWN: You may not think that (takes a deep breath) I was jealous of Steve

TALLY: What

DAWN: I got used to it just being you and me and well I never thought about boy’s coming into the picture

TALLY: He’s my friend Dawn; you know friendship knows no gender granted most guys I meet are kind of well, lame in our high school, but Steve’s pretty nice

DAWN: (Puts her head down)

TALLY: But your not jealous of him as a friend are you

DAWN: (Can’t say anything because she’s crying)

TALLY: (Touches Dawn’s face gently) Hey why are you crying

DAWN: I don’t want to loose you Tally

TALLY: (kisses dawn’s cheek) Your not I promise

DAWN: (Has a light in her eyes) You just kissed me, on the cheek but still

TALLY: Yeah glad you noticed (Smiles)

DAWN: (Hugs Tally)

TARA: (Can be heard off screen trying to be loud) Oh Hi Mr. Giles

DAWN/TARA: (Pull away from each other and look like their just talking now)



Willow, Tara, and Giles come into the dorm room.



GILES: Thank god I didn’t know where you where at

TALLY: (Stand’s up) I’m sorry I had to check on Dawn

GILES: (Surprises everyone by hugging tally) At least your ok, Dawn are you ok

DAWN: (Smiling) Fine

GILES: (To Tally) Come on we need to get you home (To Dawn) you want a ride back to your house

DAWN: No I’m going over with Tara and Willow in the morning

GILES: Very well we’ll see you all tomorrow

TARA: (Notices how Tally and Dawn are looking at each other and smiles) Good night Tally

TALLY: (Hugs Tara) Night (Hugs Willow) (Then Hugs Dawn) See you in the morning

TALLY: I made that program for you, it’s to label all the spells you use, its got different codes and stuff to make them easier to find

ANYA: Oh I want to give you something (hand her envelope)

ANYA: (Smiles) (looks at Xander) We got you something but I picked it out

TALLY: (Opens envelope) (Stock certificate) You bought me stocks

ANYA: Well it’s only five percent in a small software company that’s just starting out, but it’s a start for your portfolio

DAWN: (Opens it, Home Chemistry kit) Gee

TALLY: Well I figured you could mix stuff at home without getting nervous in front of the class, and then by the time you got to school no more blowing up action (Smiles)

DAWN: (Touched by the present) I love it

WILLOW/TARA: (Look at each other and smile)

GILES: Well we seam to have only one present left to hand out

TALLY: I thank that was it Giles

GILES: I didn’t give you mine (hands her box)

GILES: Well I guess you’ll have to open it to find out

TALLY: (Opens it, a set of keys) (Looks around at everyone their all clueless, then looks at Giles)

GILES: It’s not perfect and it needs some work but it’s waiting for you in the front

TALLY: (almost runs out, and their sets a 1988 Jeep Wrangler) Oh Wow

DAWN: You got a car

TALLY: I got a Jeep

GILES: Well I know you’ve got your learners permit and around here that’s few and far between and when you get this fixed up you can go get your regular permit and besides I wont’ always be able to take you everywhere you want to go

TALLY: (Amazed) (Hugs Giles) Thank You

GILES: (Hugs her back) Your welcome

BUFFY: I can teach you how to drive

GILES: You bloody well will not

WILLOW: Listen to Giles on this one Tally stay far away from Buffy and driving those two words just don’t mix

ANYA: I on the other hand am and expert (goes to Tally’s side) you see the right peddle makes you go faster, so that’s a very good one, and well the left one makes you stop but (stopped by Tally)

TALLY: Thanks Anya

ANYA: (Smiles)

XANDER: I can honestly help you out Tally I do have a license

TALLY: That’s be cool Xander

TARA: Yeah then we can all go to the beach when it get’s summer

DAWN: That’d be cool, and when we are seniors next year we can park in the senior parking spot

The group all goes in except Tally and Dawn.

TALLY: (Walks to Jeep) This is so awesome

BUFFY: (Sticks her head outside) Come on you two dinners getting cold you can admire your jeep after we eat Tally (goes back inside)

DAWN: (Hugs Tally) Come on before Buffy sends Anya after us

TALLY: Yeah I wouldn’t want a two-hour discussion on how the right peddle works again (Smiles) (Takes Dawn’s hand and they go inside)

Setting: Tally’s room she’s at her desk doing some studying.



TARA: (knocks on Tally’s door) Can I come in

TALLY: Sure I’m surprised to see you

TARA: Well where supposed to work on your magic remember

TALLY: Oh is it four o’clock already

TARA: Yeah (Sits on the edge of Tally’s bed) Must be some major studying

TALLY: It is, history my worst subject

TARA: Well happens to be my best

TALLY: (Smiles) Good (Turns towards her bed) So what are we starting with today

TALLY: I don’t know last time I tried to levitate you major bruise came into play

GILES: I do have eyes you know, and I’ve seen you two holding hands the last few days when you didn’t think the rest of us where watching

GILES: No dear, I’m happy for both of you, just becareful I don’t want you to get off balance you’ve worked so hard to keep in control of the Ring I don’t want you to loose that control

TALLY: (Hugs Giles) Thanks Giles

GILES: You should get to sleep I know it’s Saturday night but sleep is good

TALLY: (Gets up) Ok Night

GILES: Night (Starts to read again)

TALLY: (Goes up the stairs to her room) (goes into the bathroom and takes a shower, comes out and flips on her lap top, signs on to the net, Dawn is online) (their talking through the PC) Hey you

TALLY: Slow we only killed like two vamps.

DAWN: That’s good though

TALLY: Want to go on our first official date

TALLY: Yup and Giles their cool, the only one’s who don’t know now is Anya and Xander but they’ll figure it out soon enough, so how about it

BUFFY: (Answers the door) Hey come in Dawn’s still getting ready

BUFFY: She’s been up since like six o’clock I knew something was up she never gets up earlier then eleven on a Sunday (Smiles)

TALLY: (Walks in)

BUFFY: (Closes door) (Sits at kitchen bar)

TALLY: (Sits at the bar with Buffy) (looks a little nervous)

BUFFY: Breath it helps I’ve heard

TALLY: (Smiles) I am breathing

BUFFY: (Grins) So what’s the plan for today

TALLY: Their have some kind of festival at the park Dawn wanted to go

BUFFY: Oh that’s right the craft festival

DAWN: (Comes down stairs) That’s right and I’m ready (Smiles)

Cuts to the craft fair where tables are set up all along the park, a bunch of people are all around looking at stuff. Tally and Dawn are walking in looking at different tables, holding hands.



DAWN: Oh (Looks at pottery) that’s so cool I could never do something like that

TALLY: Sure you could

DAWN: (Smiles) This day is going by so quick

TALLY: I know way to fast

DAWN: I’m so glad where here though

TALLY: Me to (Spots a photo booth) come on (pulls Dawn towards the booth)

DAWN: Oh no I don’t like those booths

TALLY: Please

DAWN: (Smiles) Ok

They get in the booth, Tally sits on the stool

DAWN: Ok where am I supposed to sit

They get out and wait for their photos to come out

BETH: (Walks up to Dawn) Well look what the craft fair drug out

BETH: I thought I saw someone with you but what happen did they get tired of you

DAWN: Yeah well (Photo’s come out)

BETH: (Grabs them) OH well don’t you two look chummy

DAWN: Give those back (tries to get them but Beth won’t give them)

BETH: Who knew you where into girls guess I should’ve watched my back all those times in gym class

DAWN: Don’t flatter your self

TALLY: (Walks back up) I think you should give us our photo’s back

TALLY: Yeah (Leans up against railing) She just makes me so mad picking on you

TALLY: (Grins) Yeah I guess you where I’m sorry

TALLY: For the things she said

DAWN: (Touches Tally’s face) What other people think doesn’t matter to me, in another year we won’t even be around those losers anymore, our family is the only thing that matters and they love us (Smiles)

TALLY: (Pulls out a Bracelet woven from different twine, very pretty, has a flat design, and has the name “Dawn” woven in the middle) (Puts it on Dawn’s right wrist)

DAWN: What are you doing

TALLY: (Smiles) Open your eyes now

DAWN: (Looks down at bracelet) Oh wow, when did you get this

TALLY: During my bathroom break (Smiles) I know it’s not as good as the one you got me for Christmas but I wanted to give you something to remember this day

DAWN: Oh Tally I won’t need any reminders of this day (Hugs Tally)

The sun is setting in the background

DAWN: I really do

BUFFY: Well I think we out number the Vamps tonight

TARA: Oh honey I told you

WILLOW: huh

TARA: Yeah that’s why I canceled practice with Tally today I thought I told you

WILLOW: Well all I remember was practice being canceled and well happiness afterwards (Tally and Buffy are looking at Willow a little funny) Well I mean, (Looks at Tara like “Help Me”)

TARA: You must have just forgot, you w..w..where doing a lot of studying (Buffy and Tally look like “Yeah Right”)

WILLOW: Yes I was so wrapped up in my studying I just forgot I knew about it; yes now about the lavation spell Tally

TALLY: Nothing to tell I just felt I could do it

BUFFY: Yeah so you practiced with me lets not practice with me ok

TALLY: Ok (Smiles)

WILLOW: So how’d it go

TALLY: You saw it

WILLOW: Not flying Buffy I meant the date

BUFFY: Oh it went great, Tally gave Dawn this really pretty bracelet, after they had a fight with their version of Cordelia

TALLY: (Looking a little surprised) And you know this how

BUFFY: Oh please Dawn has a very big mouth

TALLY: It must run in the family

TARA: (Laughing) Well sounds like you guys had a wonderful time

TALLY: (Pulls out wallet and show’s her two photos from the photo booth) Look

WILLOW: Oh how cute

TALLY: Dawn has the other two so if you want to see them all you’ll have to ask her

BUFFY: Their just as cute

TALLY: (Shakes her head, puts photos back up) So did Xander and Anya get off on their vacation

WILLOW: Yeah, three whole weeks without Anya, what are we to do

TARA: Be nice (Smiles)

TALLY: I guess I’ll miss my driving lessons then

BUFFY: Hey I’ll be happy to help

TALLY: (Mocking Giles) You bloody well are not

BUFFY: Stop it that’s scary (laughs) (Puts her arm around Tally) Come on we’d better get you home wouldn’t want you to not wake up for school tomorrow

TALLY: Oh no wouldn’t want that



Cuts to Tally’s computer class where Steve is sitting by Tally and their working on a project.



STEVE: Can I ask you something

TALLY: Anything

STEVE: Is it true what Beth’s saying

TALLY: Don’t know she say’s so much their no telling

STEVE: Well about you and Dawn being involved

TALLY: Yeah it’s true (Looks like she’s ready for a major brush off from her friend)

STEVE: Why didn’t you tell me

TALLY: Well we just kind of sorted things out ourselves

STEVE: I’m happy for you two

TALLY: (Shocked) Huh

STEVE: I said I’m happy for you two

TALLY: Your ok with it

STEVE: Hey you’re the first person to ever give me a chance around here; I’m not about to turn you away just because you like Dawn

TALLY: Thanks man that means a lot

STEVE: Your welcome (Smiles) So how’s work on your jeep coming

TALLY: I haven’t had anytime to work on it

STEVE: Well if you need anything, my dad works at a car place so he can get you parts and stuff cheaper

TALLY: Thanks man that’d be great

STEVE: So where’s it at now

TALLY: In Dawns’ garage, my guardian didn’t have a garage so Buffy let me store it at their house



Teacher comes in she looks younger, about twenty-three or so



STEVE: (looks at Tally) What happen to Mrs. Johns

V: Hi everyone Mrs. Johns had to take the rest of the year off due to an illness but I’m Miss. Dillard and I’ll be here with you for the time being now lets start with some simple stuff so I can see where your all at (Starts to write stuff on the board with her right hand, a ring that’s identical to Tally’s is on her hand)

TALLY: (Notices ring) Oh god

STEVE: I know she’s going to make us have so much homework (Starts writing what the teacher is)

TALLY: (Looks a little worried)



At the end of the class everyone is leaving Tally and Steve are walking together, they pass Miss. Dillard’s desk.



V: (Looks at role) Tally can I speak with you a moment

TALLY: Ok

STEVE: I’ll see you later (Walks off)

V: The last teacher said you where a very good student in the time you’ve been here

TALLY: Well I like this class, look Miss. Dillard

V: Call me V

TALLY: Huh

V: It’s my first name you can call me V

TALLY: Oh, well (glances at V’s ring)

V: I see you noticed it your very perceptive

TALLY: Are you going to hurt me

V: Why would you ask me that

TALLY: Cause the last people I ran into that wore these rings were less then friendly

V: The Burrow’s tried to kill you and your friends, is what I was told and you killed them to save your friends, but in doing so you embraced the power passed from generation to generation

TALLY: They died in a car accident

V: I’m not stupid Tally I know what really happen

TALLY: Just who the hell are you

V: Someone who wants to show you the true power of the ring, it’s not for devastation it for helping but you took your power over in anger, so I guess you’ve been having a non stop fight against your emotions

TALLY: I don’t understand

V: For centuries my asters have had the power of the four rings, they’re given out to the people who seam the most confident and most powerfully trained in witchcraft and martial arts, and that person wear’s the ring in till the time of their death, and when they die the ring goes back to the family for a predecessor to follow, it’s been this way for as long as anyone can remember but five years ago three rings where stolen after our brightest warriors where killed in battle, and my grandfather’s second in command stole the rings when they magical teleported back to our base.

TALLY: Mr. Burrows

V: Yes

TALLY: So when we die the rings go back to your family

V: That’s correct

TALLY: Answer me this if the rings are supposed to stand for good why did I have to kill someone to obtain the power

V: (Looks a little sad) Your not supposed to kill anyone, the way to obtain the true power your supposed to save a life

TALLY: So what I can take it off

V: I’m afraid not, you see the rings have always been give to people with a good soul for if they kill instead of saving a life, it opens dark magic within their soul

TALLY: So what I’m evil

V: No but I’m surprised actually your not you see we’ve been monitoring you since the ring was forced upon you and in most cases the person after killing someone one would turn evil but in your case it didn’t happen but am I correct to assume you’ve had urges to hurt

TALLY: (Doesn’t say anything)

V: I take that as a yes, what stops you

TALLY: That’s none of your business I don’t even know if your for real, how do I know your not some evil person trying to recruit me

V: I’m not I assure you

TALLY: That makes me feel so much better (Right hand starts to shake) You know I have a good life here you can’t just (hand starts to raise)

V: (Touches Tally’s shoulder) Calm down

TALLY: (Hand calms down) How the Hell did you do that

V: I passed some of my meditation skills to you the possessors of the ring are linked and we can help one another Mr. Burrow’s saw something in you, a power that I can also feel that’s why he stole three rings he wanted to start a new sect and he knew that my one ring was not enough to fight his three evil one’s

TALLY: But how did he know he’d fine me I still don’t understand



V: There was a prophecy of one who was to wear the ring, a child born from a heritage of witches

TALLY: But I’m not from a family of witches, my grandmother practiced but (cut off by V)

V: You don’t know much about your family

TALLY: Actually I don’t

V: Your family has been noted in our records for almost as long as the rings have been around so the heritage thing definably fits you

TALLY: You said this was a prophecy but what am I supposed to do

V: Help us in our fight, but if the Burrow’s had their way you would’ve eventually turned evil like them, and the world would’ve been in for devastation you see without proper training the ring’s power will overcome you that’s what happen to the Burrows they didn’t have a clue of the true power they possessed

TALLY: So who are the other two people with the rings now

V: I don’t know the Burrow’s must have redid the transferring spell so there could be two more evil people out their waiting for us

TALLY: How do I know your not one of them

V: I guess you just have to trust me; I want to take you to train with my grandfather

TALLY: No way I have a home here

V: My grandfather figured you’d say that

TALLY: So what now

V: I stay and help, if you want my help anyways

TALLY: I take it Mrs. Johns illness was a planned event

V: Yes it was

TALLY: Well I’m afraid you’ve come for no reason I already have people helping me

V: The witches and the Slayer

TALLY: (Mad) How the Hell do you know that

V: You’ll find I know a lot

TALLY: If you hurt them

V: You’ll what kill me, that’s what you wanted to say wasn’t it, I don’t want to hurt them, and I don’t want you to hurt them

TALLY: I would never hurt them their my friends

V: I know but they have no idea of what they’re getting into by helping you

TALLY: I could never ever hurt people I loved

V: Don’t be so sure, listen I can’t make you let me help, but I will be around if you need it

TALLY: Why should I trust you

V: Well I guess I’ll just have to earn your trust

TALLY: I guess so (Walks out)



Cuts to Magic Box where all the gang is at sitting around the table (except for Anya and Xander) Tally has just told them what V told her



BUFFY: Have you ever heard of this group of four fighting evil

GILES: Theirs always myths around the rings but to answer your question no I have not

TALLY: Giles she knew that Willow and Tara where witches and she knew Buffy was the slayer

GIELS: That worries me

DAWN: Could this V be dangerous Giles

GILES: I’m not sure, and she could be telling the truth

TALLY: (Looks worried) That’s what I’m afraid of (Walks into training room)



Cuts to training room where Tally is taking out her problems on a punching bag. Giles walks in



GILES: Are you all right

TALLY: Peachy

GILES: (Walks up to Tally) I know this must be hard on you

TALLY: (Stops punching) I don’t want to hurt anyone Giles, maybe I should just leave town

GILES: You bloody well are not leaving; we’ve dealt with a lot of things over the years we can very well handle what ever that blasted ring throw’s at us

TALLY: But

GILES: No buts you’re staying and where going to all get through this together

TALLY: Ok



Giles and Tally walk back to where everyone else is



DAWN: (Looks at Tally) You ok

TALLY: I guess

V: (Walks into the door)

TALLY: (Upset) What the hell are you doing here

V: Relax kid



The gang all stands up, Tally gets in front of them



TALLY: Leave them alone

V: I’m not here to hurt them I told you that

BUFFY: Then why are you here

V: Oh the slayer how nice

WILLOW: Just who are you

V: You have lots of power (Looks at Tara) I feel it in you to, it’s the same power that comes from Tally, you’ve trained her well but I’m afraid you don’t have a clue how to fully train her

TALLY: At least I trust them

DAWN: You should leave now

V: I saw you at school today

TALLY: (Stands in front of Dawn)

V: Protective of this one are we

TARA: I think you should leave now

V: (Hands Tally a card) I’m staying here call me if you need anything

GILES: She has all the help she needs right here

V: Well Giles I hope your right (Looks at Tally) call anytime day or night (Walks out)

BUFFY: She gives me the creeps

TARA: Me to

DAWN: (Takes Tally’s hand) are you ok

TALLY: (Looks at card) I’m fine really

GILES: Tally we should go now

DAWN: Go where

TALLY: I’ve got a doctors appt about my hand

DAWN: Oh getting the stitches out huh

TALLY: Yes finally (Smiles)

DAWN: Call me when you get home

TALLY: Ok (Looks at everyone) see you guys later



Everyone waves bye Giles and Tally exit. Cuts to Tally’s room that afternoon, she’s laying on her bed looking up at the ceiling. Knock on her door



TALLY: Who is it

DAWN: It’s Dawn

TALLY: Come in

DAWN: (Opens the door walks in then closes the door) How’s your hand

TALLY: (Holds up right hand, but it isn’t bandaged now, just has a still visible mark) (Sits up in bed)

DAWN: (Sits beside of Tally)

TALLY: What are you doing here

DAWN: Well you didn’t call me this afternoon so I asked Buffy if I could come over

TALLY: Sorry I forgot

DAWN: Its ok I know you’ve got tons on your mind

TALLY: Do you think she’s right

DAWN: About what

TALLY: About me embracing the darkness

DAWN: No way (lays her head on Tally’s chest) nope I don’t hear any darkness beats

TALLY: (Smiles) I just don’t want to hurt you

DAWN: (Looks up at Tally) I know you could never do that

TALLY: V didn’t seam so sure

DAWN: (Touches Tally’s face) I’m sure you could never do it

TALLY: (Smiles) (Kisses Dawn) Thank you

DAWN: For what

TALLY: For coming here I needed you

DAWN: (Smiles) (They both lay back on the bed in each other’s arms)



A little while latter Buffy comes up and slightly opens the door, but see’s them both asleep, she smiles and goes back out closing the door. She goes back down to the living room.



BUFFY: I’m going to leave Dawn here if that’s ok

GILES: Well she can stay on the couch I guess

BUFFY: I don’t want to have to wake her up they’re both asleep

GILES: (Smiles) Oh

BUFFY: I’ll bring her books by in the morning before they have to leave for school

GILES: Very well be careful on patrol

BUFFY: I will be



Cuts to Buffy’s garage where Tally is under the Jeep working, instruction books are around the Jeep, telling how to do different things. Tara comes into the garage



TARA: Need some help

TALLY: (Slides from under the Jeep, she’s covered with grease and stuff) Yeah will you hand me the needle nose pliers

TARA: (Looks in tool box and hands her pliers) Here you go

TALLY: Thanks (Slides back under Jeep) So Tara you know how to do this kind of stuff

TARA: A little, I used to watch my father and brother but they’d never let me help

TALLY: (slides back out) Well then come on down your help is more then welcome here

TARA: (Big Grin) Are you sure

TALLY: Your no apt to mess it up then me besides how could we go wrong with all the colorful diagrams Giles got me

TARA: Glad I wore Jeans today (Gets under the Jeep with Tally)



A little while latter Willow and Dawn comes out



WILLOW: Well look at this

DAWN: So this is where you two disappeared

TALLY: (Slides out from Jeep) Hey you guys

DAWN: Oh gosh your covered in slime

TARA: (Slides out also covered)

WILLOW: Oh baby so are you

TARA: I know isn’t it great (Grins)

TALLY: (Stands up- then helps Tara up) listen to this guys (goes and cranks the jeep)

TARA: It’s running like a sewing machine

TALLY: Now it just needs a good cleaning

WILLOW: Well Dawnie and I can do that why don’t you two go get cleaned up (Looks at Tally) then you can drive us out to the movies

TALLY: Well I’d have to have a licensed driver

WILLOW: Tara has her license

TALLY: (looks at Tara) Really

TARA: Yeah I just don’t drive

WILLOW: So what do you say

TALLY: (Looks at Tara) Ok sounds fun I’ll go home and get cleaned up, I’ll be back here in like two hours

WILLOW: Should give us plenty of time

TARA: Willow do we still have clothes here

WILLOW: Yup they’re in Buffy’s bathroom

TARA: Well that’s where I’m heading then (Smiles) (Exits)

TALLY: (Looks at Dawn) I need to leave some clothes here to

DAWN: Oh I think the slimy look works for you

TALLY: (Grins) oh really (Tries to hug Dawn)

DAWN: Oh no you don’t (they both laugh)

TALLY: (Stops, kisses Dawn on the cheek) ok well I’ll be back soon (gets her bicycle) Bye Willow

WILLOW: Bye be careful

TALLY: I will (exits)

WILLOW: Come on Dawnie We’ve got some work to do

DAWN: Yeah thanks to your big mouth

WILLOW: Well it’s not that bad (Smiles) besides we get a free night on the town

DAWN: That’s true let’s hurry



Cuts to a shot of Tally riding her Bike, she stops and looks around, then goes back in the direction of Dawn’s house. Cuts to inside the living room where two males have Willow, Tara, Buffy and Dawn on the couch with guns pointed at them. Another male and female are standing looking at the group they both have rings like Tally’s.



JUNE: She will come back don’t worry

BILLY: How do you know

JUNE: Trust me I just know I can feel her

BUFFY: Bet you boys wouldn’t be so brave if you didn’t have guns

MAN 1: (Hits Buffy) Shut up

JUNE: (Walks over to the group) I’d advice you to stay still and quite

BUFFY: Well I’m not one for listing to advice

JUNE: (Waves right hand in front of Buffy)

BUFFY: (Having trouble breathing)

JUNE: (Moves hand)

BUFFY: (Breaths hard)

JUNE: Well you might want to start now

TALLY: (Runs in)

BILLY: (Grabs Tally) Well look what came dragging in

DAWN: Tally

TALLY: (Tries to get free)

JUNE: (Walks over to Billy and Dawn) well I knew you’d come let her go Billy she can’t hurt us

BILLY: (Lets Tally go)

TALLY: Don’t be so sure (Holds right hand up)

JUNE: (Waves hand) (Tally Falls to the floor) naughty little one very naughty you forget where all connected I can feel the darkness wanting to come out of you

TALLY: Your wrong

JUNE: Am I

V: (Comes in) Dead wrong (Blast June)

JUNE: (Falls over)

The two guards run off

JUNE: (Stands up) can’t hire good help these days (Puts a barrier around Willow-Tara-Buffy and Dawn)

BILLY: (Stands beside June)

V: I should’ve know it’d be you two

TALLY: (Stands up) who are they

BILLY: You mean all those years living with our parents and you don’t know

TALLY: Oh god

V: (Looks at Tally) go get your friends free I’ll take care of them

TALLY: (Starts to walk to the living room when she falls to her knee’s)

JUNE: Not so fast, she’s still walking a fine line so I can control her

V: She’s stronger then your hatred

JUNE: Are you so sure about that V (Looks at Tally) She seams pretty weak to me

TALLY: (Waves her hand and the barrier around everyone is undone) (She falls over)

DAWN: (Runs to Tally) Tally get up

TALLY: I can’t Dawn it’s to much

TARA: (Squats beside them) Tally you can do this



V has her has her hand pointed at Billy and June, it looks as if she’s starting to tire



WILLOW: You have to help her

DAWN: Listen to Willow

JUNE: (Waves hand towards Tally)

TALLY: (Stands up) Your right I have to help (eyes turn grayish again) (walks over to where the three battling ring holders are) (Looks as if she’s torn)

BUFFY: O no she’s going all gray eyed again

DAWN: (trying to hold back tears) Tally fight this

TARA: (Holds Dawn) She’ll fight it

V: Tally I know you can here me, fight this I know you want to

JUNE: No Tally you don’t want to fight anymore do you the feeling’s of being out of control can all go away if you just join us

V: Tally think of your family think of Dawn

TALLY: Dawn

JUNE: (Evil Grin) So that’s your heart huh (Puts hand toward Dawn) Well Hearts can break

TALLY: NO (Jumps in front of Dawn just in time to catch the full blast of power from June)

JUNE: Oh no

DAWN: (Screams at the sight of a bleeding Tally in front of her) (Holds Tally) No

JUNE: (Looks at V) This isn’t over yet (June and Billy Vanish)

V: (Gets beside Tally) (Puts her hand over the wound) (Heals it)

TALLY: (Sits up leaning against Dawn) What happen (eyes are back to normal)

V: June hit you with an energy blast meant for Dawn

TARA: Why’d she leave

V: Because she knew Tally chose the good side when she saved Dawns life, and when someone evil uses the rings full power it drains them she knew if she stayed we would have destroyed her and her brother

TALLY: I feel like crap

V: It’s because I healed you

TALLY: Dawn are you ok

DAWN: I’m fine (tears coming out of her eyes)

TALLY: Don’t cry

V: You need to rest

BUFFY: We can put her in my room



Little while latter the whole gang including Xander and Anya is in the living room listing to V



V: I know they’ll be back but if you let me we can be ready for them

TALLY: So I guess you where telling me the truth huh

V: Yes I was, and I mean no disrespect to you all but I can help Tally in ways you can’t but I would like for you to help us both from now on Tally will benefit from us all helping her

GILES: I think you’ve earned our trust but Tally the decision is yours

TALLY: (Looks at Dawn) I want to be ready for the next time those two come

V: So how about it are we partners (Holds out her hand for Tally to shake)

TALLY: (Stands up) Partners (Shakes V’s hand)

Summery: Tally’s power is growing more, but will June and Billy put a stop to her learning?





Setting: Tanning room, V and Tally are in their along with Buffy. Their doing different fighting styles, finally they all stop to get some water.



BUFFY: Well V your pretty good

V: I’ll take that as a compliment coming from you

TALLY: Trust me from her it is (Smiles)

V: So Buffy you ready to rumble with Tally

BUFFY: Oh I’m ready (Smiles at Tally) So squirt think you can take me

TALLY: Sure I mean you’re “Just” a slayer (laughs)

BUFFY: (Throw’s water on Tally) (They both get into fighting positions)

V: Ok now Tally concentrate not on the fight but your emotions during it, sometimes the emotions’ are more important then the punches

BUFFY: I beg to differ on that one, give me a nice strong punch on a vamp. And I’m happy

V: Yes but if your emotions’ weren’t in check do you think you could deliver that nice strong punch

BUFFY: um less talk more fight (grins) (Starts the fight with Tally)

TALLY: (Holding her own against Buffy) (Waves her hand)

BUFFY: (Goes in the air) HEY (Pissed) I thought we talked about this

V: (Laughs) Very good I didn’t see that coming

BUFFY: Put me down Tally

TALLY: Ok Fine (Puts Buffy down) hey you have to admit if that’d been a real fight

BUFFY: I know, it’d been nice to just lift a vamp to a stake but damn it slayers aren’t supposed to fl.. (Starts to say fly) Levitate

V: Ok guys again

TALLY: (Starts to fight again with Buffy) (The fight gets a little rough and Tally accidentally hit’s Buffy’s nose and it starts to bleed) Oh god Buffy I’m so sorry

BUFFY: (Holding her nose) It’s ok happens all the time

V: (Hands Buffy a towel) here

BUFFY: (Puts towel over nose) thanks, man that’s quite a punch

V: guess her emotions where right

BUFFY: Oh right throw that back at me (stops) I need ice



All three walk into the main shop where Willow, Tara, and Dawn are sitting at the table the rest of the shop appears to be closed because no one else is their. Buffy and Tally sit at the table along with the gang, V went to get ice she hands it to Buffy before sitting down also.



DAWN: What happen

BUFFY: Your girlfriend got a little rough

DAWN: You gave Buffy a bloody noise I’m impressed

BUFFY: I’m not

WILLOW: Well hey Buffy it is rare for someone to get the better of you in training

BUFFY: Hey Will your supposed to be on my side

WILLOW: I am totally

TALLY: (Looks at Tara) I even got to levitate her again

TARA: Your getting good at that

BUFFY: To good if you ask me

TARA: (Smiles) Did you work on that flare spell I gave you

TALLY: Yeah but it turned out more like a fizzle then a flare

DAWN: Made a nice sparkler (Grins)

TARA: Well we can try it tomorrow if you want

TALLY: Ok cool (Looks around shop) ok did Anya run all the customers off

WILLOW: No actually Giles took her and Xander to lunch and well we didn’t want to have to fool with the customers so we put up the “closed” sign

TALLY: I see

V: Why’d he take them to lunch

BUFFY: Anya probably wanted a raise again so see he does that to divert her attention for a while (Smiles)

V: Oh (grins) (gets up) well guys I hate to cut this short but I’ve got homework to grade (looks at Tally) and don’t forget to do yours

TALLY: Hey don’t I get some kind of reprieve on the homework I mean hello heavy training

V: What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger

TALLY: Oh great

V: And I was talking about your meditation homework I gave you

TALLY: I knew that (Smiles)

V: I’m sure you did; see everyone tomorrow (Exits)

DAWN: So (Looks at Tally) You busy this afternoon

TALLY: Actually I have plans with Tara

WILLOW: (Pouty look) Huh

TARA: Yeah we’ve got to do something

WILLOW: Like

TARA: Can’t tell you

DAWN: So what are we supposed to do

TALLY: Keep occupied (Grins) don’t worry hopefully it wont’ take long, I’m going to change Tara then I’ll be ready

TARA: Ok

TALLY: (Exits)

DAWN: So what is she roping you into

TARA: I promised I wouldn’t say

DAWN: O come on I won’t tell her you told me

WILLOW: Sure Dawnie keeping a secrete that’ll never happen

DAWN: Well I learnt that from you Willow

WILLOW: Hey

TARA: Baby you set your self up for that one (grins)

BUFFY: Well guys since Tara and Tally have plans how about we go have a movie night

WILLOW: Sounds good to me (Looks at Tara) join us when you get though

TARA: You bet (Kisses Willow)



Cut to Summer’s home, Willow, Buffy, and Dawn are in front of the TV watching movies, and eating popcorn. They hear the door open. Tara and Tally come in.





WILLOW: Oh look who made it back

TALLY: (Smiling)

DAWN: What is it

TALLY: (Pulls out wallet and show’s new drivers license) Looks who’s the newest licensed driver in Sunnydale

TALLY: Well if I failed I didn’t want to be endlessly teased

BUFFY: OH please like we’d do that

TALLY: (shoots Buffy a “sure” look) (Looks at Dawn) So want to go somewhere

BUFFY: Hey wait a minute I’m not so sure I like the idea of you two going off unsupervised in a car

DAWN: I’d love to let me change

BUFFY: I didn’t say you could go

DAWN: I know but you will cause you love me

BUFFY: Fine but be back before sunset

DAWN: Promise (goes upstairs)





Cuts to the beach Dawn and Tally are sitting on the hood of the Jeep watching the waves; they’re wrapped in a blanket.



DAWN: I thought people where supposed to come to the beach in the summer not in February

TALLY: Well it’s less crowded now (gets off the hood)

DAWN: Where you going

TALLY: Close your eyes

DAWN: What why

TALLY: Come on just do it

DAWN: Ok but you’d better not dash me with water (closes eyes)

TALLY: (Gets cooler out of back and set’s up a blanket and puts the cooler on it)

DAWN: Should I take a nap or will it be much longer

TALLY: It’s almost though just keep your eyes closed

DAWN: Ok

TALLY: (puts the final touches around then gets a dozen roses from a bag and puts something in her pocket) (goes by the hood of the Jeep to stand in front of dawn) Ok you can open now

DAWN: (Opens her eyes) Oh my gosh what is all this

TALLY: Happy Valentines day (Holds roses out)

DAWN: I completely forgot that was today (Jumps off the hood into Tally’s arms) Thank you

TALLY: (Kisses Dawn) Your welcome hungry

DAWN: Yeah

TALLY: Come on then I’ve got all kind of goodies in the cooler

DAWN: Well lets eat then (they both sit on the blanket) how did you pull this off

TALLY: Well Tara helped

DAWN: So that’s why you where gone so long today

TALLY: Busted

DAWN: (Smell’s of the flowers) oh these are so nice



They eat some of the food, now their wrapped in the blanket looking out at the waves.



DAWN: This is so nice

TALLY: Sure is I have to get you home soon though

DAWN: Oh stupid sunset

TALLY: Well we have at least another hour want to dance

DAWN: Theirs no music

TALLY: I can find some

DAWN: (grins) Silly

TALLY: (Gets up, finds a slow song on the radio in the jeep, walks back over to Dawn) can I have this dance

DAWN: Of course you can

TALLY: (Helps Dawn up) (They start to dance)

DAWN: (Lays her head on Tally’s shoulder)

TALLY: (Pulls away)

DAWN: What’s wrong

TALLY: Nothing I um I just wanted to tell you um that um

DAWN: Are you ok

TALLY: Oh no, I mean yeah I’m fine I think

DAWN: Should we call Willow

TALLY: No we don’t need to call anyone I’m good I just (rubs her forehead) I just wanted to tell you that

DAWN: What

TALLY: (Pulls box out of her pocket) I wanted to give you this (Hands over the box to Dawn)

DAWN: What is this

TALLY: Open it and see

DAWN: But I didn’t get you anything

TALLY: Its ok just open it

DAWN: (Opens box to show silver necklace, with a diamond heart pendant on it) Oh god (Looks at Tally)

TALLY: You don’t like it

DAWN: No I mean yes I love it but it’s too much, this must have cost a lot

TALLY: All right Anya

DAWN: I’m serious

TALLY: So am I about you, and besides that was my mom’s.

DAWN: (Surprised)

TALLY: It’s like the only thing I have from her stuff my grandmother saved it all those years

DAWN: It’s like a family thing I can’t take it

TALLY: Yes you can, see you already have my real heart but you can’t really wear that around your neck (grins) and that necklace is a part of my heart the part you can wear

DAWN: Yeah but (Stopped by Tally)

TALLY: Dawn what I’m trying to say is um that I’m in love with you

DAWN: Huh

TALLY: Dawn I love you

DAWN: (Kisses Tally very passionately) I love you to

TALLY: So do you want me to put that on for you

DAWN: Yeah





Cuts to Willow and Tara’s dorm room, Tara isn’t insight but Willow is decorating the room. The door opens and Tara come in.



WILLOW: Surprise

TARA: (Looks around) What’s this

WILLOW: Happy Valentines day

TARA: (Smiles) (Hugs Willow) Happy Valentines day (Gives Willow a White rose)

WILLOW: OH so you remembered huh

TARA: How could I forget

WILLOW: (Kisses Tara) I love you so much

TARA: I love you to

WILLOW: You know you came back a little early so I didn’t get finished in here

TARA: (Acts like she is going towards the door) Well I guess I’ll just leave and come back later

WILLOW: OH no your not (Hugs Tara) I’d rather have you here then being alone decorating

Cut to Dawn’s front door. Tally and Dawn are standing out side.



DAWN: (Holding roses) Thank you for today it was wonderful

TALLY: Your welcome (Hugs Dawn)

DAWN: You want to come in for a little while

TALLY: Well I should probably get home Giles wanted to go over some text with me tonight

DAWN: Oh no slaying with Buffy then

TALLY: Not tonight the Vamp. Kill’s been way down so she said she could handle it

DAWN: Well I guess I’ll see you tomorrow then

TALLY: You can count on it (Grins) (Kisses Dawn) I love you

DAWN: (Big Smile) Love you to (goes inside)

TALLY: (Smiles, goes to jeep)



Cut to V’s apartment she’s at a laptop grading homework theirs a knock at her door.



V: (Looks to see who it is, opens the door to Tally) Hey what are you doing here

TALLY: Nice to see you to

V: Oh sorry come in

TALLY: (Walks in closes door)

V: Is something wrong (Sits on couch)

TALLY: (Sits by V) No I just wanted to ask you a question

V: Well shoot

TALLY: I got to thinking since I saved a life I haven’t had such hard times with my emotions but I still fell a little out of it sometimes will that go away or is it just something I have to live with forever

V: Unfortunately your always going to have to deal with that part being out of control, but it’s better now isn’t it

TALLY: Yeah totally but I don’t know it’s hard to explain, sometimes I feel totally normal, and then others I could just throw something against the wall do you feel that way

V: I think most people feel that way (Smiles)

TALLY: Yeah I know, but it’s a stronger feeling of aggression I get It scares me

V: Have you been keeping up with the mediation exercises I gave you

TALLY: Yeah and I think that helps

V: I’m sure it does, normally the ring barriers are trained in that for at least four years prior to getting a ring

TALLY: Well the Burrow’s skipped that I guess (Smiles) speaking of which have you heard anything on the radar from Billy and June

V: No I’ve been in contact with the base and they haven’t heard anything either

TALLY: How come you can’t track those rings

V: Well their kind of cursed now, see when you got yours your soul was still good so we could track you but their soul is total evil

TALLY: I’m thinking not a good thing

V: Your right

TALLY: I should go I just wanted to ask you that so

V: Well have you had dinner

TALLY: Yeah Dawn and I ate earlier

V: Oh that’s right it’s valentines day (Smiles) how’d it go

TALLY: It went great (gets up) thank you for listening

ONE WEEK LATER: Cuts to Willow and Tara’s dorm room where they’re getting dressed.



WILLOW: So what time do we have to be at Buffy’s

TARA: not till four why

WILLOW: (Wraps arms around Tara) Oh no reason (Kisses Tara’s neck)

TARA: Um (enjoying what Willow is doing) you said you didn’t want to be late again

WILLOW: Oh did I say that (Looks at clock) well it’s a good thing we don’t have to be there for another two hours (gives an evil grin)

TARA: (Wraps arms around Willow) Yes it’s a very good thing (Kisses Willow)



Cuts to Tally’s room where she’s typing something on the computer. The phone rings



TALLY: (Answers the phone) Hello

DAWN: Hey are you coming over

TALLY: Huh

DAWN: Did you forget, everyone’s supposed to come have dinner here today

TALLY: Oh gosh is it that late already

DAWN: You still working on that research paper huh

TALLY: Yeah I’m almost through though is Giles their already

DAWN: Yup the only one’s MIA are you Willow and Tara, but they’re always late

TALLY: That’s true (Smiles)

DAWN: So are you going to come

TALLY: Yeah let me finish this last paragraph then I’ll leave

DAWN: Ok be careful

TALLY: Always see you later

DAWN: Ok bye (hangs up phone)

TALLY: (Hangs up phone) (Finishes typing paper) (Phone rings again) Hello

WILLOW: Tally hey good you haven’t left yet can I ask you a big favor

TALLY: (Smiles) Where do you want me to pick you guys up

WILLOW: You’re the best

TALLY: Yeah I know normal spot

WILLOW: Yeah thanks

TALLY: No problem see you in a bit (hangs up phone) I need to start a taxi service (grabs bag and jacket and heads out)



Cut to the Summers home where everyone is seated around the table eating.



V: You should have see her (looking at Tally) I didn’t know a face could turn so red (they all start laughing)

TALLY: Very funny (Annoyed)

DAWN: Oh it was a cute story (Takes Tally’s hand)

TALLY: Well I’ll remember all your guys’ cute stories to tell to

V: Oh come on Tally you have to admit doing that in front of the whole class was funny

TALLY: OH yeah so funny they’ve nicknamed me squeaky

BUFFY: At least they don’t call you gassy



Everyone breaks out laughing



TALLY: (Not amused)

GILES: (Changing the subject for Tally’s sake) so how’s the paper coming

TALLY: (Face say’s “thank you”) oh it’s coming ok I think I need to redo the last paragraph though

WILLOW: Buffy some people take pride in their school work

BUFFY: Yeah well some people take to much pride in it (winks at willow)

WILLOW: Hey you can never have too much pride

TARA: (about chokes on her drink)

WILLOW: Anya we had that conversation ages ago when will you let it go

ANYA: (Shrugs shoulders)

XANDER: Anya honey practice more on manners k

ANYA: (gives Xander an evil glare)

BUFFY: (Starts to clean up the plates)

TALLY: (Looks at dawn) Can I use your computer

DAWN: Why

TALLY: (Holds up disk)

DAWN: You didn’t bring your homework with you

TALLY: Yeah I kind of did

DAWN: Fine you know where it’s at (helps Buffy with the dishes)



Cut to Dawn’s Bedroom where Tally is typing on the computer when Dawn walks in.



DAWN: You almost finished

TALLY: Yeah

DAWN: (Walks up behind Tally and put her arms around Tally’s neck) good

TALLY: (Kisses Dawn)

DAWN: (Spins computer char around and sits on Tally’s lap)

TALLY: what are you doing

DAWN: Nothing just keep on with your work

TALLY: Right just ignore the beautiful person sitting in my lap

DAWN: Sure it’s worked the last few days

TALLY: I haven’t been ignoring you Dawn I’ve been busy

DAWN: I know but (cut off by Tally kissing her)

TALLY: How’s that for not ignoring you

DAWN: It’s a start (Kisses Tally again)

BUFFY: (Standing at the door way) well now I see why you wanted to get into your homework (Thinks for a moment) (Tally and Dawn are startled) Oh no wait bad example

DAWN: Buffy haven’t you heard of knocking

BUFFY: I just came to see if you guys wanted to go see the movie with us

DAWN: Um no where kind of busy (Stands up)

BUFFY: OH well IN that case, you’re defiantly going to the movies then

TALLY: Dawn can go with you guys I really have to finish this paper for tomorrow’s class

BUFFY: Ok then see you guys down stairs very soon (walks away)

DAWN: Can’t you go with us

TALLY: Dawn I’d love to but if I don’t finish this I may not pass the class their for not becoming a senior next year, and well that’s a possibility I don’t want to face. I promise after this paper is turned in tomorrow I’m all yours for the next two days

DAWN: I love it when term papers are due on Friday’s (Smiles) (Kisses Tally)

TALLY: Come on before we get the kissing police back up here (Smiles) (grabs disk)



Cuts to Tally’s room where her printer has pages coming out of it.



TALLY: (gets last page out of printer, looks to be around 20 pages, then she puts them in a folder and in a backpack) Finally done (lays back on the bed) (Phone rings) it never fails (Answers phone) Hello

DAWN: Hey can you come pick me up

TALLY: Dawn where are you

DAWN: the park I decided not to see the movie

TALLY: Buffy let you go to the park this late (clock say’s 7pm)

DAWN: Yeah well I told her I was walking home but I don’t feel like walking all the way so can you come get me

TALLY: Sure just stay where theirs a lot of people it’ll be dark very soon

DAWN: I know

TALLY: I’ll be their in a few minutes

DAWN: Ok I’m on the east side by the gate

TALLY: K (hangs up phone)



Cut to Movie Theater where Dawn, Buffy, Tara, Willow, Xander and Anya are walking out of.



TARA: I loved that movie

WILLOW: (Takes Tara’s hand) I love you

ANYA: Not enough killing for my taste to mushy

XANDER: Don’t you get enough killing when we go on patrols

ANYA: Well see that’s real killing I like the fake kind (Smiles)

DAWN: Tally would’ve liked this one

BUFFY: You’ll have to bring her to see it this weekend, yes somewhere very public is great for you to

DAWN: Buffy we where just kissing

BUFFY: I know but you should slow down

DAWN: Oh like you and angel did huh

WILLOW: Ouch

BUFFY: (Looks at willow) Don’t use me as a role model

DAWN: No kidding

TARA: How about we go for coffee now

WILLOW: Sounds good to me

BUFFY: You guys go ahead I have to start patrolling

XANDER: I’ll go with you Buff

BUFFY: Actually could you go with Willow and Tara to make sure they all get home safe

XANDER: I can do that

BUFFY: Good see you guys later



They all make their goodbyes as Buffy walks off. Cuts to the park where we see Tally walking up, no one is around except her.



TALLY: (Looking around) Dawn (Looks at watch) ok this is strange

BILLY: Not as strange as this (Knocks Tally over the head with a board before she can react)

TALLY: (Falls down knocked out, head bleeding)

JUNE: I told you not to hit her so hard

BILLY: Sorry I wanted to make sure she was out

JUNE: Well she defiantly is grab her before someone see’s us

BILLY: Right



Cuts to Buffy’s house where Dawn is sitting in the living room with Willow and Tara



DAWN: You guys really didn’t have to baby-sit me

TARA: Don’t think of it as baby-sitting where here to keep you company

DAWN: Right

WILLOW: We are Dawnie and in no way is this baby-sitting

DAWN: If you say so (gets up)

TARA: Where you going

DAWN: To call Tally and see if she got her paper done

WILLOW: I’m so proud of her she’s really did good with her school work (Smiles)

DAWN: To good you know she’s got one of the highest grade point averages in the school

WILLOW: Really she didn’t tell me that

DAWN: She wanted to surprise everyone, but even though she’s got wonderful grades she still works too much.

TARA: You get used to it (winks at Dawn)

WILLOW: Hey (Playfully annoyed)

DAWN: (Smiles) I’ll be back in a few minutes (exits)

WILLOW: So I work to much huh

TARA: Oh yeah way to much all work and no play

WILLOW: Well if I remember correctly last night is was you who was no play

TARA: Hey I was tired (Smiles)

WILLOW: I guess you’ll just have to make it up to me tonight then

TARA: I guess so

DAWN: (comes back in) Tally’s not answering her phone

WILLOW: Maybe she’s on her way here, did you talk to Giles

DAWN: No I just got their machine

TARA: Well they probably went out somewhere together you know there bonding time

WILLOW: Did you check at V’s house to, maybe they had to go over some stuff with her

DAWN: Yeah I tried her; she hadn’t seen either of them

TARA: Don’t worry Dawnie I’m sure all is fine



Cut’s to a warehouse, Tally is in a medical room strapped onto a table, and bleeding badly, her face is bruised and cut. There is a guard standing watch outside the door heavily armed. June and Billy come in, with another man.



JUNE: Theirs your patient doctor

DOCTOR: (examines Tally) She’ll live, what happen to her

BILLY: We don’t pay you to ask questions old man

DOCTOR: Quite right (looks into bag and takes out a syringe with a 4 inch needle attached) (Looks at June) Are you sure you want to do this

JUNE: Positive now get it done

DOCTOR: Right (Stabs needle into one of Tally’s arms)



Cut to Buffy coming into the house where Tara and Willow are sitting on the couch, and Dawn is asleep on the love seat.



BUFFY: Hey guys what’ch you doing here

WILLOW: We didn’t think Dawn should be by her self so we got Xander to drop us off with her

BUFFY: Oh thanks

TARA: How was patrol

BUFFY: Pretty good (Looks around) No Tally

WILLOW: No I think she’s off somewhere with Giles

BUFFY: Oh (Sits by Willow and Tara) So I’m betting she wasn’t to happy with that

TARA: More like worried Tally didn’t tell her she was going anywhere

BUFFY: Have you guys talked to Giles

TARA: No Dawn called but got their machine

BUFFY: What about V

WILLOW: She hadn’t seen them

BUFFY: (Looks at her watch) maybe I should try and call



Cuts back to medical room Tally is sitting up in bed now, still bleeding and looking even weaker, still knocked out. The doctor is still in the room along with some nurses Billy is also in but we don’t see June. We hear the doors open (still focused on the doctor and Tally)



JUNE: Wake her up

DOCTOR: I don’t think that’s wise right now

JUNE: I didn’t ask what was wise I gave you an order that I expect to be followed

DOCTOR: Fine (Gives Tally a shot)

TALLY: (Slowly comes to) Where am I (Looks around she looks towards the direction of June and about freaks out) What the Hell

JUNE: (Who we now see looks exactly like Tally) what’s the matter don’t you know what you look like

Summery: Continued from Part 5, where Billy and June have kidnapped Tally, and June has stolen Tally’s identity. Will the gang know it’s not Tally in time to save her?





Setting: Medical room where Tally is tied to the bed looking at June who looks exactly like Tally, the Doctor, Billy, and some nurses are in the room.



JUNE: Oh what’s wrong Tally are you at a loss for words

TALLY: What’s going on why do you look and sound like me

JUNE: OH you can think the dear doctor here, you see demon doctors are so handy sometimes, they have the neatest little tricks, what’s the matter am I not walking quite right yet.

TALLY: How

JUNE: Well it’s simple really all he needed was a little of your DNA to make me a nice little mask so to speak, now the real fun begins

TALLY: I don’t understand

JUNE: Your little friends might when I turn them all against you, oh and that yummy girl of yours what’s her name (thinks) oh yeah Dawnie I’ll take really good care of that one

TALLY: (Struggles with the restraints and tries to do a spell)

JUNE: OH that’s a no no here, this is a magic protected room no spells allowed, even the rings power are no good

TALLY: (Starts bleeding more)

JUNE: See all you did was pop a vessel, just calm down.

TALLY: How can you do this to me

JUNE: Our side has more tricks if you’d joined us you would have seen that, but now I’m going to see what tricks V has up her little sleeve, I always wanted to get to know her better to (Winks) Well I have to go, my friends are waiting (evil laugh) (Walks out)

BUFFY: Tally left a note telling Giles she was coming here

BUFFY: four hours ago (they all looked worried)



Knock at the door Dawn here’s this and wakes up.



DAWN: I’ll get it (opens the door) Tally (wraps her arms around tally)

JUNE as TALLY: Hey what’s up baby

DAWN: Where have you been

JUNE as TALLY: Oh you know around (walks in closes door)

BUFFY: Giles said you where supposed to be here four hours ago

JUNE as TALLY: Yeah well I got a little side tracked

WILLOW: You didn’t run into the crazed psycho’s Billy and June did you

JUNE as TALLY: (annoyed) No don’t you think I would have told you

DAWN: Don’t get upset

JUNE as TALLY: I’m just wondering why the twenty questions I mean I don’t have to spend every hour with you people

DAWN: Are you feeling ok Tally

JUNE as TALLY: (Knows she about to blow her cover) (Hugs Dawn) I’m sorry I’m just a little on edge tonight

BUFFY: How about we all calm down with a movie night we can pull out the blankets and all camp out in the living room.

Cuts to Dawn in the bathroom brushing her teeth. June walks in behind her.



JUNE as TALLY: (Wraps her arm’s around Dawn)

They reach the front door by this time Willow, Tara, and Buffy are sitting up listing to the fight.



JUNE as TALLY: Well all you’ve been doing the last few days is being down on me

DAWN: I was just kidding about the paper you need to do good in school and I love that about you

JUNE as TALLY: Lets face it you don’t like it cause I’ve got powers and you don’t

DAWN: What does that have to do with anything

JUNE as TALLY: It has to do with everything

Cuts back to “Tally” and Dawn



JUNE as TALLY: That about sums it up (opens the door)

DAWN: Where are you going

JUNE as TALLY: Anywhere but here (Walks out and slams the door)

DAWN: (Starts to Cry)

JUNE as TALLY: (Grins) One down six to go (Walks towards jeep)



Cuts back into the house where Buffy is hugging Dawn in the living room



TARA: That doesn’t sound like Tally

DAWN: I know (Crying harder) Did I do something wrong

BUFFY: (Hugging Dawn) No Dawnie no

DAWN: (Buries her face onto Buffy’s shoulder)

WILLOW: I think we should call Giles



Cut to V’s house where “Tally” is out side looking in the window at V asleep on the couch.



JUNE as TALLY: (Pulls out a phone, and dials a number) Yeah its me I think I put a big wedge into Tally’s relationship with that Dawn girl… no I haven’t had time for that… But I think Dawn is the key to getting to Tally, she’s proved that on more then one occasion… I’m at V’s now; I’ll be back in contact soon. (Hangs up) (Walks into V’s house after picking the lock, standing over the couch where V’s asleep)

V: (Jumps up when she sense’s someone is their) Tally oh god you scared me

JUNE as TALLY: Sorry (Sits on Couch)

V: What’s wrong (Looking like she knows something’s up)

JUNE as TALLY: I had a fight with Dawn

V: (Relaxes a bit) oh I’m sorry (Puts her hand on Tally’s shoulder)

JUNE as TALLY: Me to

V: Was it a bad one

JUNE as TALLY: Aren’t they all

V: Well I guess they are

JUNE as TALLY: Maybe it’s just me (Acts like she’s going to cry)

V: Oh come here (Hugs “tally”)

JUNE as TALLY: (Kisses V)

V: Uh where did that come from

JUNE as TALLY: I’ve been wanting to do that; I just let my self get caught up with Dawn

V: Well I don’t think (Cut off by “Tally” kissing her again)

JUNE as TALLY: (Pulls away) Don’t you like me

V: I’m your mentor and I’m like five years older then you

JUNE as TALLY: I won’t tell if you don’t (Try’s to kiss V)

V: (Backs away) Tally I won’t do this to Dawn or to you, I don’t think your quite yourself right now

JUNE as TALLY: (mad) Why does everyone keep saying that

V: I meant because of your fight with Dawn (Getting a very bad vibe from “Tally”) come to think of it though your not acting right at all

JUNE as TALLY: (Grins) Well now that we cleared that up (Hits V) Let the fun begin

V: God what’s gotten into you

JUNE as TALLY: Nothing much (Holds out right hand)

V: (Notices the rings are different) June it’s you

JUNE as TALLY: Oh well now I have to kill you

V: (Gets into fighting mode) Where’s Tally

JUNE as TALLY: Oh she’s alive for now (shoots bolt towards V)

V: (Jumps out of the way but the couch gets scorched)

JUNE as TALLY: You should’ve seen her face when I woke her up quite amazing

V: How the hell did you do this

JUNE as TALLY: Wouldn’t you like to know, sorry can’t tell you (tries to hit V with a bolt)

V: (Stops bolt, and shots one back at June)

JUNE as TALLY: (gets knocked to the floor) If I where you I’d take it easy on this body

V: (Thanks June is in Tally’s body) Oh god



About that time theirs a crash through the window it’s a dirt bike. The rider falls off.



JUNE as TALLY: What the hell

V: (tries to put a magic rope around “tally”)

JUNE as TALLY: OH no you don’t (Knocks V to the wall)

V: (knocked out)

TALLY: (Stands up and pulls off motorcycle helmet)

JUNE as TALLY: How the hell did you get out

TALLY: Lets just say Mr. Demon doctor came in handy for me to (Puts right hand out and shoots a fire stream towards June)



About that time the rest of the gang comes in. (Buffy, Willow, Tara, Dawn, Giles, Xander, Anya) they see the June and Tally fighting, but June still looks like Tally.



BUFFY: OH god theirs two of them

XANDER: Oh man did Tally get hit with that demon stick thing that I got hit with a while back

TARA: (Notices V’s on the ground) Guys V looks hurt

WILLOW: We have to get over to her

TALLY: (Notices the gang is here) You guys get out of here

JUNE as TALLY: Help me this crazy person is trying to kill me

DAWN: (Up set) which one is real

XANDER: Their both real

V: No their not (Stands up) one of theme’s June

JUNE as TALLY: Shut up (shot’s bolt towards her)

TALLY: (Stops it)

BUFFY: (Starts to walk to the two tally’s and V, but gets shot back towards the rest of the gang)

ANYA: They have some kind of force field up

DAWN: Tally I knew something was wrong

JUNE as TALLY: (Grins) yeah it was fun earlier

TALLY: (Takes this in) What the hell did you do to her

JUNE as TALLY: Had a little fun (grins)

TALLY: (Runs towards June) You bitch (Gets knocked back)

V: Tally she’s trying to make you loose focus don’t get roped into it

JUNE as TALLY: You should listen to her you know she’s your mentor (Makes V go against the wall)

V: (Can’t move) what did you do

JUNE as TALLY: little holding spell hope you don’t mind I’ve got some unfinished business with Tally (looks at Tally) (Looks at Dawn) And then with her

BUFFY: (Stands in front of Dawn)

TALLY: (Charges June)

JUNE as TALLY: (grabs Tally’s neck and holds her up) You know it’s funny I thought you’d be harder to crack

TALLY: (Kicks June in the chest) (Falls down) Yeah well I’m full of surprises

JUNE as TALLY: There may be hope for you yet kid (Walks towards Buffy and the group) (Waves hand all but Dawn are thrown against the wall like V) your coming with me (Grabs Dawn)

BUFFY: Dawn no



About that time Billy and two guars come up on more dirt bikes, they leave the bikes outside and come into the house



BILLY: So this is where you ran off

TALLY: I’ve got somewhere to be

BILLY: (Shoots bolt at Tally) I don’t think so

TALLY: (dodges bolt) (Looks up eyes turn grayish)

V: (Notices something wrong) Tally don’t do this

TALLY: I don’t have a choice (Starts to fight with Billy)

BILLY: (Stabs Tally)

TALLY: (Falls back) damn it

BILLY: (Laughing)

TALLY: (Shot’s a bolt and kills the two guards)

BILLY: What the hell your going to pay for that

TALLY: (Jumps up and fights with Billy till he gets the knife from him and stabs him though the heart) (He falls over dead) (starts to run out)

BUFFY: Tally wait help us

TALLY: Theirs no time I have to get Dawn

WILLOW: Let us help

TALLY: (won’t listen to them runs out, and gets on a motorcycle)



We see June and Dawn riding on the street, then we see Tally catching up with them.



JUNE as TALLY: Crap

DAWN: I told you she’d come

JUNE as TALLY: My stupid brother can’t do anything right (Turns bike around to face the oncoming Tally) (To Dawn) Hold on this is going to be a bumpy ride



The bikes come towards each other, Dawn jumps off



TALLY: Dawn (doesn’t see June)

JUNE as TALLY: (shoot’s a bolt that hits Tally right in the chest)

TALLY: (Falls off the bike, the bike falls on top of her legs)

JUNE as TALLY: (Parks her bike and walks to Tally) Well lookie who’s trapped (grins)

TALLY: (Blood coming out of her mouth)

JUNE as TALLY: At a loss for words can’t say I blame you, being as your fixen to die and all

DAWN: (Puts her hands around June’s neck) Your not going to hurt her

JUNE as TALLY: Foolish girl (Throws Dawn down turns her back to Tally)

TALLY: (Uses a lot of strength to get up)

JUNE as TALLY: I’ll make you see her die first (looks back and doesn’t see Tally) Shit where’d you go

TALLY: Right here (Knocks June to the ground) (Looks at Dawn) Run Dawn

DAWN: (Stands up) I won’t leave you

TALLY: Please just listen to me

JUNE as TALLY: (Gets back up) Well this is touching but your not strong enough to defeat me, Billy was a wimp but I’m much stronger (Grabs Dawn by the throat) (Throw’s her down on the dirt bike and the kick stand goes through Dawn belly)

TALLY: (Screams) NO (eyes turn black) (Looks at June)

JUNE as TALLY: (Then knows she messed up big time)

TALLY: (Waves right hand and June burst into flames)

JUNE as TALLY: (Screams with pain) NOOOOOOOO (Dies, only the ring is left on the pavement)

TALLY: (Runs to Dawn) Dawn (Falls beside her) Baby no

DAWN: (Opens her eyes) Tally is it you

TALLY: Yeah Oh please don’t die on me (Takes Dawn’s hand) I need you

DAWN: (Coughing blood) This really hurts



We see Tally’s jeep coming into view with the gang in it. Tara’s driving.



TALLY: I won’t let you die (Takes Dawn off the bike)

DAWN: (Falls into Tally’s arms)

TALLY: (Lays Dawn on the pavement) (Closes her eyes and puts her hands on the wound) (Starts to chant a spell, her hands start to glow, the blood around dawn is getting to be less and less, and the hole in her stomach is closing up, Tally’s body starts to shake from the strain, and she’s bleeding more from where she was stabbed)



Cut to jeep stopping, the gang gets out they run to where Tally and Dawn are laying on the pavement.



BUFFY: OH god please no (Runs to Dawn)

V: Tally (Runs to Tally who is bleeding and barley breathing)

GILES: (Pulls out a cell phone and dials 911)

DAWN: (Sits up) (Completely ok) (Looks at Tally)

V: (knows what Tally did)

WILLOW: (See’s something’s up) What’s wrong

V: She used a healing spell on Dawn

DAWN: Can you help her

V: I’m afraid not I used all my strength to get us out of that barrier

DAWN: (Sits by Tally) Baby don’t die on me you can’t save me then leave

TALLY: (Opens her eyes) Your ok (touches Dawn’s face) (Looks around) You’re all ok now (Coughing up blood)



You can hear an ambulance coming in the background.



TARA: You have to hold on

DAWN: (Trying not to cry)

V: (Notices ring on the pavement and picks it up)

WILLOW: (Holding Tara)

XANDER: (Holding Anya)

TALLY: (Looks at Dawn) I love you, I’ll always (coughs) love you and your (cough) safe now (closes her eyes)

DAWN: No (crying) Tally no



Cut to bright white light, then we hear beeping sounds.



TALLY: (Feels something on her hand) (Opens eyes)

DAWN: (Holding Tally’s hand) Tally

TALLY: (tries to sit up, but makes a face of pain and lays back down) Where…

TARA: Sunnydale memorial hospital



Pan’s around the room to show the whole gang in a single bed hospital room, plenty of chairs though for everyone.



WILLOW: You’ve been asleep for four day’s missy

TALLY: Four days

V: Yeah we where starting to worry about you

TALLY: (Kind of Startled) What about June

GILES: Taken care of and the rings are back where they belong

V: Somehow you broke the spell and now their back on the good side

ANYA: Oh and your stocks are doing very well might I add

TALLY: (half smiles) Thanks Anya

ANYA: (Smiles)

XANDER: oh and your jeep’s been taken care of to

TALLY: (worried) Buffy hasn’t drove it has she

TARA: Nope only me and Xander

TALLY: (smiles) I’m sleepy

DAWN: Then get some sleep (kisses Tally’s forehead) We’ll be here when you wake up



Cuts to Giles house where Willow and Tara are helping Tally out of the jeep into



TARA: You ok

TALLY: Yeah just a little slow moving

TARA: Understandable (smiles)

WILLOW: (Gets Tally’s bag)

TALLY: I wish Dawn didn’t have that presentation at school today

WILLOW: (Smiles) I’m sure she’ll come see you afterwards



Cuts to the three walking into the living room as they cut the lights on the rest of the gang jump up and yell surprise a big “Welcome Home Tally” banner hangs up. They all come up and hug Tally.



TALLY: I’m proud of you Willow you kept a secrete

WILLOW: (looks at Tara) well I had incentive

TARA: (Blushes)

DAWN: (Hugs Tally last) Welcome home

TALLY: Thanks (kisses Dawn) You know I must say (looking around) I like the presentation

DAWN: Thought you might (Smiles)

V: (walks up to Tally)

TALLY: Hey V (Hugs V)

V: You know you took a big chance when you saved Dawn, and you almost died

TALLY: I know but I had to do it

V: Do you feel different

TALLY: What are you talking about

V: No one who has ever taken the ring over in killing has ever been able to do what you did to save Dawn

TALLY: huh

V: What I’m trying to say is somehow you managed to cut through all the bad hateful emotion to save her noting evil in their (points to Tally’s heart) (Smiles) Welcome to the good side

TALLY: (Smiles)

DAWN: Welcome to a new beginning

TALLY: (Looks at Dawn) (Kisses her) So isn’t this supposed to be a party where’s the music

ANYA: (Very happily) OHHHHH I rented a karaoke machine (Rolls one out)

TALLY: Is she serious

TARA: Well you asked for music (Puts her hand on Tally’s shoulder)

TALLY: Yeah music not money tunes

ANYA: HEY I heard that
